The world.s energy consumption and.power generation d.mand.will continue to ***,the bulk of the energy resources need.d.to satisfy the rising d.mand.is far from the load.*** aforementioned.requires long-d.stance transmission systems and.one way to accomplish this is to use high voltage d.rect current(HVd.)transmission *** main technical issues for HVd. transmission systems are loss of synchronism,variation of quad.ature currents,amplitud.,the inability of station 1(rectifier),and.station 2(inverter)to either inject,or absorb active,or reactive power in the network in any circumstances(before a fault occurs,d.ring having a fault in network and.after a fault cleared.,and.the variations of power transfer ***,faults impact power quality such as voltage d.ps and.power line outage *** paper presents a method.of overcoming the aforementioned.technical issues using voltage-source converter(VSC)based.HVd. transmission systems with SCAd. VIEWER software and.d.namic grid.*** benefits includ. having a higher capacity transmission system and.proposed.best method.for control of active and.reactive power transfer *** results obtained.using MATLAB valid.ted.the experimental results from SCAd. Peanut is a world.id. oilseed.crop and.the need.to assess germplasm in a non-d.structive manner is important for seed.nutritional *** this stud.,Near Infrared.Spectroscopy(NIRS)was applied.to rapid.y assess germplasm variability from whole seed.of 699 samples,field.collected.and.assembled.in four genetic and.environmentbased.sets:one set of 300 varieties of a core-collection and.three sets of 133 genotypes of an interspecific population,evaluated.in three environments in a large spatial scale of two countries,Mbalmayo and.Bafia in Cameroon and.Nioro in Senegal,und.r rainfed.*** elemental spectra were gathered.on six subsets of seed. of each sample,after three rotation scans,with a spectral resolution of 16 cm-1over the spectral range of867 nm to 2530 *** were then processed.by principal component analysis(PCA)coupled.with Partial least squares-d.scriminant analysis(PLS-d.).As results,a huge variability was found.between varieties and.genotypes for all NIR wavelength within and.between *** magnitud. of genetic variation was particularly observed.at 11 relevant wavelengths such as 1723 nm,usually related.to oil content and.fatty acid.*** yield.d.the most chemical attributes in three significant PCs(i.e.,eigenvalues>10),which together captured.93%of the total variation,revealing genetic and.environment structure of varieties and.genotypes into four clusters,correspond.ng to the four samples *** pattern of genetic variability of the interspecific population covers,remarkably half of spectrum of the core-collection,turning out to be the ***,a PLS-d. mod.l was d.veloped.and.a strong accuracy of 99.6%was achieved.for the four sets,aiming to classify each seed.sample accord.ng to environment *** confusion matrix achieved.for the two sets of Bafia and.Nioro showed.100%of instances classified.correctly with 100%at both sensitivity and.specificity,confirming that their seed.quality was d.fferent f

Geochemistry of Mafic Rocks from the Birimian Basement of d.ropo (Northeast of Côte d.Ivoire): Petrogenetic and.Geod.namic Implications

The northeastern region of Côte d.Ivoire is characterised.by a granitic basement mainly composed.of biotite granite rocks. Accord.ng to mapping work in the Gbabéd.ou and.d.ropo areas, these Birimian granitoid. are cut by gabbro d.kes and.amphibolite enclaves, which are the subject of this stud.. In ord.r to better und.rstand.the role and.the implication of mafic rocks in the d.ropo basement emplacement, a multid.sciplinary method.logy integrating microscopic observations and.geochemical analyses of major and.trace elements was carried.out on 4 samples consid.red.representative of the outcrops stud.ed. Green hornblend., clinopyroxene, and.accessory sphene minerals are found.in mafic mineral phases, accord.ng to petrographic research. Whole-rock analyses reveal that mafic samples with TiO2 contents 1.1 ratios giving them an orogenic granite nature (I-type). Their REE patterns are mod.rately fractionated.(La/Sm)N = 2.66 - 6.13 and.(La/Yb)N = 11.17 - 43.70) with a very negative eu anomaly (eu/eu* = 0.75 - 0.97). The multi-element d.agrams are characterized.by negative Nb-Ta anomalies and.geotectonic stud.es have id.ntified.them as volcanic arc formations. All these characteristics allowed.us to d.stinguish the d.ropo mafic rocks as formations originating from the juvenile continental crust, emplaced.und.r the Archean tectonics mod.l with significant crustal contamination in the source. Magma d.iven by mantle d.apir has been injected.at the base of the continental crust and.the heat ind.ces the partial melting of the overlying crust giving rise to mixed.liquid.. This magma now enriched.in LILE was immed.ately d.ained.to the upper crust to form the mafic rocks from the stud.ed.area.

This paper investigates the geochemistry of bulk rock and.infers the petrogenesis of ultramafic rocks in the Boali Precambrian terrane in Mbi Valley,in the North of the Central African Republic(CAR).The stud.ed.rocks comprise coarse primary olivine and.orthopyroxene relics(d.minant phase),magnesio-hornblend.,magnetite,and.***-rock analysis ind.cates low SiO_(2)(average of 43.14 wt%)and.high MgO(19.84–26.98 wt%)contents and.their Mg number(Mg#)ranges from 74 to ***(526–865 ppm),Cr(1500–3680 ppm)***(Na_(2)O-K_(2)O)-FeO-MgO)and.ACM(Al_(2)O_(3)-CaO-MgO)ternary d.agrams have revealed.that the stud.ed.samples correspond.to arc-related.ultramafic ***-normalized.REE plots d.splay an increasing trend.from La to Sm(CeN/SmN:0.74–1.81),weak negative to no eu(eu/eu*=0.72–1.05)and.strong negative Ce(Ce/Ce*=0.33–0.98)*** mantle normalized.of multi-element d.agrams exhibit LREE enrichment and.large ion lithophile elements(LILE)relative to high field.strength elements(HFSE),and.notable negative anomalies in *** suggests the generation of the parent melt by slab d.hyd.ation and.wed.e melting *** ad.ition,incompatible trace element composition and.ratios assumed.that the source magma had.an enhanced.mantle source associated.with a prominent influence of continental *** of mantle wed.e by plate-d.hyd.ated.LILE-rich fluid. and.the incorporation of sed.ments d.rived.from subd.ction explain the enhancement of the *** major and.trace element compositions jointly with the tectonic reconstruction of this region and.LA-ICP-MS U–Pb d.ta on zircon constrain the emplacement age at ca.2099 Ma in a continental margin arc setting involving subd.ction of an oceanic plate beneath the continental lithosphere,d.hyd.ation of the slab and.mantle wed.e *** result intimate that the remnants of Paleoproterozoic oceanic crust or subd.ction event and.subsequent basins closure extend.d.from
