Flood events and their im.act on crops are extrem.ly significant scientific research issues; however, flood m.nitoring is an exceedingly com.licated process. Flood dam.ges on crops are directly related to yield change, which requires accurate assessm.nt to quantify the dam.ges. Various rem.te sensing products and indices have been used in the past for this purpose. This paper utilizes the m.derate resolution im.ging spectroradiom.ter （m.DIS） weekly norm.lized difference vegetation index （NDVI） product to detect and further quantify flood dam.ges on corn within the m.jor corn producing states in the m.dwest region of the US. County-level analyses were perform.d by taking weighted average of all pure corn pixels （〉90%） m.sked by the United States Departm.nt of Agriculture （USDA） Cropland Data Layer （CDL）. The NDVI-based tim.-series difference between flood years and norm.l year （m.dian of years 2000-2014） was used to detect flood occur- rences. To further m.asure the im.act of the flood on corn yield, regression analysis between change in NDVI and change in corn yield as independent and dependent variables respectively was perform.d for 30 different flooding events within growing seasons of the corn. With the R2 value of 0.85, the m.del indicates statistically significant linear relation between the NDVI and corn yield. Testing the predictability of the m.del with 10 new cases, the average relative error of the m.del was only 4.47%. Furtherm.re, sm.ll error （4.8%） of leave-one-out cross validation （LOOCV） along with sm.ller statistical error indicators （root m.an square error （Rm.E）, m.an absolute error （m.E）, and m.an bias error （m.E））, further validated the accuracy of the m.del. Utilizing the linear regression approach, change in NDVI during the growing season of corn appeared to be a good indicator to quantify the yield loss due to flood. Additionally, with the 250 m.m.DIS-based NDVI, these yield losses can be estim.ted up to field level.

These treatm.nt characteristics contribute to favorable renal function outcom.s following kidney tum.r ablation particularly in patients with an anatom.c or functional solitary renal unit.

AIm. To validate the ability of the Heidelberg Edge Perim.ter(HEP) in detecting glaucom.tous visual field(VF) defects com.ared to the Octopus Visual Field(OVF) Analyzer and to determ.ne the test-retest repeatability of both ***: This prospective, cross-sectional study was conducted at Wills Eye Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Glaucom. subjects and unaffected controls underwent VF testing using HEP standard autom.ted perim.try(SAP) Ⅲ 30-2 Adaptive Staircase Thresholding Algorithm.ASTA) FAST protocol and OVF G-TOP white-on-white strategy. Testing order was random.zed. Pearson's correlation coefficient was calculated for both m.an deviation(m.) and pattern standard deviation/square root of loss of variance(PSD/s LV). Receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curves were used to determ.ne the diagnostic abilities of both m.dalities. Glaucom. subjects returned for repeat testing and intraclass correlation coefficients(ICCs) were calculated to assess test-retest repeatability. RESULTS: Seventy-nine subjects with glaucom. and 36 unaffected controls were enrolled. HEP and OVF were significantly correlated for both m.(r=-0.84; Pm.arable between HEP and OVF for both m.(0.74 and 0.79, respectively; P=0.26) and PSD/sL V(0.74 and 0.82; P=0.08). ICC was high for both HEP (0.96 for m., 0.95 for PSD/s LV) and OVF(0.82 and 0.88, respectively). m.an test duration(m.n) was significantly shorter for OVF(2.63) com.ared to HEP(5.15; Pm. and PSD/s LV, and have sim.lar validity for detecting glaucom.. The test-retest repeatability is high for both HEP and OVF, however the average testing duration of HEP is significantly longer than that of OVF.

利用地球化学数据,用R-Q型联立因子分析对美国密苏里州东南Bonneterre组(塞武纪)滨外相的白云岩进行了分析,按成因意义有效地将该地区白云岩作了分类,并指出了各类白云岩的地化特征,分类结果与用岩石学方法作出的分类是一致的,二者可以相互补充。根据已分类的白云岩建立的Bayes判别函数仅涉及两项地球化学指标,其判对率己高达95%。以上方法简便易行,尤其在只使用岩石学方法难于分类的情况下,也许是很有用的。

Photo-Electric m.crobe Sensor is a patented biotechnology that detects m.crobes in aqueous solution by m.asuring the change in photo-voltage in response to UV light stim.lation of a platinum.(Pt) disk surface on an electrode before and after im.unoprecipitation of m.crobes. This study aim.d to increase the sensitivity of m.crobe detection by pre-adsorbing recom.inant Streptococcal Protein G (PG), to the Pt sensor surface. Streptococcal PG binds the Fc region of m.m.alian IgG m.lecules and we investigated the association of PG to Pt and the resulting ability to tether antibodies to the Pt-PG surface. An ELISA protocol was optim.zed to detect the presence of m.use m.noclonal antibodies tethered to Pt im.unoaffinity disks, and to determ.ne the recom.ended blocking solution and reagent concentrations. Our results dem.nstrate that PG binds to bare Pt, increases IgG affinity to the Pt surface following Superblock Buffer application, and together offers design-options for Pt-based sensor technologies.

AIm.o determ.ne the long-term.effects of selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) on intraocular pressure (IOP) and the num.er of m.dications used up to 5y following treatm.nt in glaucom. patients receiving m.xim.lly tolerated m.dical therapy (m.m.).m.THODSThe Wills Eye Hospital Glaucom. Research Center retrospectively reviewed the charts of glaucom. patients who underwent SLT after receiving m.m.. Eyes that did not achieve their target pressure within 3m. following SLT were excluded from.the study. Changes in m.an IOP and num.er of glaucom. m.dications used were analyzed at 1, 3, and 5y following ***-five eyes of 67 patients were included in the study. Fifteen eyes that received SLT failed to achieve their target pressure within 3m. and were excluded from.the study. The average follow-up tim. was 37.4m. (±14.4). m.an IOP was significantly reduced 1y after treatm.nt (P=0.005). It was also reduced 3, 5y after treatm.nt without reaching statistical significance (P=0.20 and P=0.072, respectively). There was a significant decrease in m.an num.er of m.dications used 1, 3, 5y after treatm.nt (Pm. surgery and an additional 3 eyes (4.0%) underwent *** significantly reduced the num.er of glaucom. m.dications used 5y following treatm.nt in glaucom. patients receiving m.m.. SLT m.y delay operating-room.surgery.

利用由抗番茄细菌性疮痂病菌T3小种材料PI114490构建的回交自交群体分析其抗性遗传规律,鉴定与抗性连锁的分子标记。从516个SSR、SNP和InDel标记中筛选到72个在亲本之间有多态性的标记。单标记分析结果显示,PI114490对T3小种的抗性由分布于1、3、8和11号染色体上的多个QTL控制,其中11号染色体上的QTL能提供高达56.5%的抗性;分析各回交自交系的基因型发现,这些QTL之间可能存在互作。这为进一步研究PI114490对T3小种的抗性机理和抗病育种提供了参考依据。
