We discuss the warm inflation in the presence of standard scalar field model and modified Chaplyggin gas in brahe-world scenario. We consider weak and strong dissipative regimes with generalized dissipative coefficient. We extract various inflationary parameters. For example, we analyze the behavior of different ratios （ratio of dissipative co-efficient and Hubble parameter Г/3H, ratio of temperature and Hubble parameter T/ H, scalar-to-tensor ratio ＇r） with respect to spectral index ns for the weak and strong dissipative regimes through parametric plotting. It is found that T/H and Г/3H satisfied the required conditions in both dissipative regimes. It is also noted that the spectral index （ns） ns=0.96＋0.10-0.10 It is remarked here that our results are consistence with observational data WMAP7, WMAP9, and recent Planck data.

We propose a novel axis-symmetric modified hybrid permanent magnet(PM)/electromagnet(EM) magnetomotive force actuator for a variable valve timing camless engine. The design provides a large magnetic force with low energy consumption, low coil inductance, PM demagnetization isolation, and improved transient response. Simulation and experimental results confirm forces of about 200 N(in the presence of coil current) at the equilibrium position and 500 N(in the absence of coil current) at the armature seat. We compared our proposed design with a double solenoid valve actuator(DSVA). The finite element method(FEM) designs of the DSVA and our proposed valve actuator were validated by experiments performed on manufactured prototypes.

Liver transplantation(LT)remains the best option for patients with end-stage liver disease but the demand for organs from deceased donors continues to outweigh the available *** advent of highly effective anti-viral treatments has reduced the number of patients undergoing LT for hepatitis C(HCV)and hepatitis B(HBV)related liver disease and yet the number of patients waiting for LT continues to increase,driven by an increase in the patients listed with a diagnosis of cirrhosis due to non-alcoholic steatohepatitis and alcoholrelated liver *** addition,human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)infection,which was previously a contra-indication for LT,is no longer a fatal disease due to the effectiveness of HIV therapy and patients with HIV and liver disease are now developing indications for *** rising demand for LT is projected to increase further in the future,thus driving the need to investigate potential means of expanding the pool of potential *** mechanism for doing so is utilizing organs from donors that previously would have been discarded or used only in exceptional circumstances such as HCV-positive,HBV-positive,and HIVpositive *** advent of highly effective anti-viral therapy has meant that these organs can now be used with excellent outcomes in HCV,HBV or HIV infected recipients and in some cases uninfected recipients.

With the rapid progress of deep convolutional neural networks,several applications of crowd counting have been proposed and explored in the *** congested scene monitoring,a variety of crowd density estimating approaches has been *** understanding of highly congested scenes for crowd counting during Muslim gatherings of Hajj and Umrah is a challenging task,as a large number of individuals stand nearby and,it is hard for detection techniques to recognize them,as the crowd can vary from low density to high *** deal with such highly congested scenes,we have proposed the Congested Scene Crowd Counting Network(CSCC-Net)using VGG-16 as a core network with its first ten layers due to its strong and robust transfer learning rate.A hole dilated convolutional neural network is used at the back end to widen the relevant field to extract a large range of information from the image without losing its original *** dilated convolution neural network is mainly chosen to expand the kernel size without changing other ***,several loss functions have been applied to strengthen the evaluation accuracy of the ***,the entire experiments have been evaluated using prominent data sets namely,ShanghaiTech parts A,B,UCF_CC_50,and UCF_*** model has achieved remarkable results i.e.,68.0 and 9.0 MAE on ShanghaiTech parts A,B,199.1 MAE on UCF_CC_50,and 99.8 on UCF_QNRF data sets respectively.

Background:Post-hepatectomy liver failure(PHLF)is the Achilles’heel of hepatic resection for colorectal liver *** most commonly used procedure to generate hypertrophy of the functional liver remnant(FLR)is portal vein embolization(PVE),which does not always lead to successful *** liver partition and portal vein ligation for staged hepatectomy(ALPPS)has been proposed to overcome the limitations of *** venous deprivation(LVD),a technique that includes simultaneous portal and hepatic vein embolization,has also been proposed as an alternative to *** present study aimed to conduct a systematic review as the first network meta-analysis to compare the efficacy,effectiveness,and safety of the three regenerative *** sources:A systematic search for literature was conducted using the electronic databases Embase,PubMed(MEDLINE),Google Scholar and ***:The time to operation was significantly shorter in the ALPPS cohort than in the PVE and LVD cohorts by 27 and 22 days,*** parameters of blood loss and the Pringle maneuver demonstrated non-significant differences between the PVE and LVD *** was evidence of a significantly higher FLR hypertrophy rate in the ALPPS cohort when compared to the PVE cohort,but non-significant differences were observed when compared to the LVD ***,the LVD cohort demonstrated a significantly better FLR/body weight(BW)ratio compared to both the ALPPS and PVE *** the PVE and LVD cohorts demonstrated significantly lower major morbidity rates compared to the ALPPS *** LVD cohort also demonstrated a significantly lower 90-day mortality rate compared to both the PVE and ALPPS ***:LVD in adequately selected patients may induce adequate and profound FLR hypertrophy before major *** evidence demonstrated significantly lower major morbidity and mortality rates in the LVD cohort than in the ALPPS and PVE coho

The development of new catalytic techniques for wastewater treatment has long attracted much attention from industrial and academic ***,because of catalyst leaching during degradation,catalysts can be short lived,and therefore expensive,and unsuitable for use in wastewater *** this work,we developed a bimetallic CuO-Co3O4@γ-Al2O3 catalyst for phenol degradation with bicarbonate-activated *** weakly basic environment provided by the bicarbonate buffer greatly suppresses leaching of active Cu and Co metal ions from the catalyst.X-ray diffraction and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy results showed interactions between Cu and Co ions in the CuO-Co3O4@γ-Al2O3 catalyst,and these improve the catalytic activity in phenol *** studies using different radical scavengers showed that superoxide and hydroxyl radicals both played significant roles in phenol degradation,whereas singlet oxygen was less important.

The mechanical properties and structures of fish scales have generated considerable research interest,however,comparative studies for different fish scales from difl^rent water regions have not been *** this paper,the surface morphologies,hierarchical structures and mechanical properties of four kinds of fish scales collected from freshwater,shallow sea,and deep sea in New Zealand are *** results indicate that the surface morphologies of those fish scales are similar at ventro-lateral,dorso-lateral and anterior locations,and the hierarchical structures of those fish scales all consist of two layers:a bone layer and a collagen layer composed of collagen ***,the spiral angles of the collagen lamellaes of different scales are *** largest are Mugil cephalus scales,while the smallest are Cyprinus carpio *** the mechanical behaviors of those fish scales,the tensile strength of Carassius auratus scales is the largest,but the ductility is the *** sieboldii scales have the best ***,the relationship between hierarchical structures and mechanical properties of fish scales is *** is found that the spiral angles of the collagen lamellaes and bond/collagen thickness ratio both have a great influence on the mechanical properties of fish scales.

In recent times,multiple Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)are being widely utilized in several areas of applications such as agriculture,surveillance,disaster management,search and rescue *** of robustness of applied control schemes determines how accurate a swarm of UAVs accomplish group *** and trajectory tracking controllers are required for the swarm of multiple *** like external environmental effects,parametric uncertainties and wind gusts make the controller design process as a challenging *** article proposes fractional order formation and trajectory tacking controllers for multiple quad-rotors using Super Twisting Sliding Mode Control(STSMC)*** compensate the effects of the disturbances due to parametric uncertainties and wind gusts,Lyapunov function based adaptive controllers are ***,Lyapunov theorem is used to guarantee the stability of the proposed *** types of controllers,namely fixed gain STSMC and fractional order Adaptive Super Twisting Sliding Mode Control(ASTSMC)methods are tested for the swarm of UAVs by performing the numerical simulations in MATLAB/Simulink *** the presented results,it is verified that in presence of wind disturbances and parametric uncertainties,the proposed fractional order ASTSMC technique showed improved robustness as compared to the fixed gain STSMC and integer order ASTSMC.

In this paper,we explore static spherically symmetric charged wormhole solutions in extended teleparallel gravity taking power-law f(T) *** consider noncommutative geometry under Lorentzian *** order to obtain matter components,we develop field equations using effective energy-momentum tensor for non-diagonal *** explore solutions by considering various viable power-law f(T) models,which also include teleparallel gravity *** violation of energy conditions obtain by exotic matter to form wormhole solutions in teleparallel case while,physical acceptable wormhole solutions exist for charged noncommutative wormhole solutions for some cases of power-law *** effective energy-momentum tensor and charge are responsible for the violation of the energy ***,we check the equilibrium condition for these *** equilibrium condition meets for the teleparallel case and some power-law solutions while remaining solutions are either in less equilibrium or in disequilibrium situation.

BACKGROUND Coagulopathy and thromboembolic events are associated with poor outcomes in coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)*** is conflicting evidence on the effects of chronic anticoagulation on mortality and severity of COVID-19 *** To summarize the body of evidence on the effects of pre-hospital anticoagulation on outcomes in COVID-19 *** A Literature search was performed on LitCovid PubMed,WHO,and Scopus databases from inception(December 2019)till June 2023 for original studies reporting an association between prior use of anticoagulants and patient outcomes in adults with *** primary outcome was the risk of thromboembolic events in COVID-19 patients taking *** outcomes included COVID-19 disease severity,in terms of intensive care unit admission or invasive mechanical ventilation/intubation requirement in patients hospitalized with COVID-19 infection,and *** random effects models were used to calculate crude and adjusted odds ratios(aORs)with 95%confidence intervals(95%CIs).RESULTS Forty-six observational studies met our inclusion *** unadjusted analysis found no association between prior anticoagulation and thromboembolic event risk[n=43851,9 studies,odds ratio(OR)=0.67(0.22,2.07);P=0.49;I2=95%].The association between prior anticoagulation and disease severity was non-significant[n=186782;22 studies,OR=1.08(0.78,1.49);P=0.64;I2=89%].However,pre-hospital anticoagulation significantly increased all-cause mortality risk[n=207292;35 studies,OR=1.72(1.37,2.17);P<0.00001;I2=93%].Pooling adjusted estimates revealed a statistically non-significant association between pre-hospital anticoagulation and thromboembolic event risk[aOR=0.87(0.42,1.80);P=0.71],mortality[aOR=0.94(0.84,1.05);P=0.31],and disease severity[aOR=0.96(0.72,1.26);P=0.76].CONCLUSION Prehospital anticoagulation was not significantly associated with reduced risk of thromboembolic events,improved survival,and lower disease seve
