Background:Kashmir has a population that largely consumes polished rice which is deficient in ***,lactating women in this region are prone to severe thiamine deficiency because of their traditional food avoidance *** beriberi is common in exclusively breastfed infants of thiamine deficient mothers in ***:This was a one year prospective hospitalbased *** included 50 exclusively breastfed infants in our *** patients were evaluated as per unit protocol including complete septic workup and metabolic *** of our patients belonged to low and middle income group families,and mothers were on customary dietary *** and anthropometric data were collected from all the study *** addition,data regarding the treatments received by the study population and overall mortality were ***:The mean age,male:female ratio,and mean weight of the study population were 3.15±0.97 months,1.5∶1,and 5.1±1.1 kg,*** food avoidance practices were followed by 80% of the *** was observed in 40 (80%) *** was observed in 30 (60%).Septic workup including cerebro spinal fluid analysis was normal in all *** magnetic resonance imaging finding was bilateral basal ganglia *** blood thiamine diphosphate levels showed a drastic decrease (10-49 nmol/L).Ten percent of the study infants ***:In exclusively breasffed infants,we observed acute infantile encephalopathy with epidemiological,clinical,biochemical,and radiological features suggestive of infantile Wernicke's encephalopathy and a favourable therapeutic response to thiamine supplementation during the acute stage.

A Novel Fractional Dengue Transmission Model in the Presence of Wolbachia Using Stochastic Based Artificial Neural Network

The purpose of this research work is to investigate the numerical solutions of the fractional dengue transmission model(FDTM)in the presence of Wolbachia using the stochastic-based Levenberg-Marquardt neural network(LM-NN)*** fractional dengue transmission model(FDTM)consists of 12 *** human population is divided into four compartments;susceptible humans(S_(h)),exposed humans(E_(h)),infectious humans(I_(h)),and recovered humans(R_(h)).Wolbachia-infected and Wolbachia-uninfected mosquito population is also divided into four compartments:aquatic(eggs,larvae,pupae),susceptible,exposed,and *** investigated three different cases of vertical transmission probability(η),namely when Wolbachia-free mosquitoes persist only(η=0.6),when both types of mosquitoes persist(η=0.8),and when Wolbachia-carrying mosquitoes persist only(η=1).The objective of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of Wolbachia in reducing dengue and presenting the numerical results by using the stochastic structure LM-NN approach with 10 hidden layers of neurons for three different cases of the fractional order derivatives(α=0.4,0.6,0.8).LM-NN approach includes a training,validation,and testing procedure to minimize the mean square error(MSE)values using the reference dataset(obtained by solving the model using the Adams-Bashforth-Moulton method(ABM).The distribution of data is 80% data for training,10% for validation,and,10% for testing purpose)results.A comprehensive investigation is accessible to observe the competence,precision,capacity,and efficiency of the suggested LM-NN approach by executing the MSE,state transitions findings,and regression *** effectiveness of the LM-NN approach for solving the FDTM is demonstrated by the overlap of the findings with trustworthy measures,which achieves a precision of up to 10^(-4).

Hand gestures have been used as a significant mode of communication since the advent of human *** facilitating human-computer interaction(HCI),hand gesture recognition(HGRoc)technology is crucial for seamless and error-free *** technology is pivotal in healthcare and communication for the deaf *** significant advancements in computer vision-based gesture recognition for language understanding,two considerable challenges persist in this field:(a)limited and common gestures are considered,(b)processing multiple channels of information across a network takes huge computational time during discriminative feature ***,a novel hand vision-based convolutional neural network(CNN)model named(HVCNNM)offers several benefits,notably enhanced accuracy,robustness to variations,real-time performance,reduced channels,and ***,these models can be optimized for real-time performance,learn from large amounts of data,and are scalable to handle complex recognition tasks for efficient human-computer *** proposed model was evaluated on two challenging datasets,namely the Massey University Dataset(MUD)and the American Sign Language(ASL)Alphabet Dataset(ASLAD).On the MUD and ASLAD datasets,HVCNNM achieved a score of 99.23% and 99.00%,*** results demonstrate the effectiveness of CNN as a promising HGRoc *** findings suggest that the proposed model have potential roles in applications such as sign language recognition,human-computer interaction,and robotics.

Polycomb response element-binding sites in the MDR of CLL: Potential tumor suppressor regulation

Chronic lymphocytic leukemia [CLL] is the most common adult leukemia and is heterogeneous in clinical presentation. CLL cases present with various chromosomal aberrations, including 11q23, 14q32, 17p, and trisomy 12, with the most common abnormality being deletion of 13q14 [1]. Although monoallelic deletion of 13q14 is common, there is a subset of patients who have complete nullisomy at 13q14, a locus that has been hypothesized to contribute to CLL pa thogenesis [2] due to loss of tumor suppressors [DLEU and miR-15a/16-1]. We hypothesized that deletion of both copies of 13q14 would lead to uncontrollable proliferation of CLL cells and a poor prognosis. We examined our 13q14 nullisomy for survival, treatment-free survival, lymphocyte doubling time, and the presence of lymphadenopathy. Furthermore, we compared the gene expression profiles between patients with 13q14 monosomy, nullisomy, or normal karyotype. Our results suggest that patients with 13q nullisomy have a higher incidence of bulky lymphadenopathy [16.6% compared to 10% of monosomy patients], a higher frequency of lymphocyte doubling time [27.7% compared to 7.4% of monosomy patients], and a higher rate of needing treatment [50% compared to 18.5% of monosomy patients]. We observed deletion of DLEU1 and HTR2A, consistent with a gene dosage effect, and observed PRE-binding sites on DLEU1. Patients with homozygous deletion of 13q14 had a worse prognosis compared to heterozygotes. Lastly, the DLEU1 locus is a possible “second hit” loss for CLL progression.

A series of novel unsymmetrical N-（4-oxo-2-phenyl-3（4H）-quinazolinoyl）-N-（aryl） acetamidines was synthesized by reacting ethyl（1H）-N-（4-oxo-2-phenylquinazolin-3（4H）-y1）ethanimidoate（2） and suitable reactive aromatic ***＇ determination of the synthesized compounds was carried out using spectroscopic techniques including IR,~1H NMR,and mass spectrometry. Exosomes and their role in the micro-/macro-environment： acomprehensive review

The importance of extracellular vesicles(EVs) in cell-cell communication has long been recognized due to their ability to transfer important cellular cargoes such as DNA, mRNA, miRNAs, and proteins to target cells. Compelling evidence supports the role of EVs in the horizontal transfer of cellular material which has the potential to influence normal cellular physiology and promote various disease states. Of the different types of EVs, exosomes have garnered much attention in the past decade due to their abundance in various biological fluids and ability to affect multiple organ systems. The main focus of this review will be on cancer and how cancer-derived exosomes are important mediators of metastasis, angiogenesis, immune modulation, and the tumor macro-/microenvironment. We will also discuss exosomes as potential biomarkers for cancers due to their abundance in biological fluids, ease of uptake, and cellular content. Exosome use in diagnosis, prognosis, and in establishing treatment regimens has enormous potential to revolutionize patient care.

Named Data Networking(NDN)is gaining a significant attention in Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks(VANET)due to its in-network content caching,name-based routing,and mobility-supporting ***,existing NDN faces three significant challenges,including security,privacy,and *** particular,security attacks,such as Content Poisoning Attacks(CPA),can jeopardize legitimate vehicles with malicious *** instance,attacker host vehicles can serve consumers with invalid information,which has dire consequences,including road *** such a situation,trust in the content-providing vehicles brings a new *** the other hand,ensuring privacy and preventing unauthorized access in vehicular(VNDN)is another ***,NDN’s pull-based content retrieval mechanism is inefficient for delivering emergency messages in *** this connection,our contribution is *** existing rule-based reputation evaluation,we propose a Machine Learning(ML)-based reputation evaluation mechanism that identifies CPA attackers and legitimate *** on ML evaluation results,vehicles accept or discard served ***,we exploit a decentralized blockchain system to ensure vehicles’privacy by maintaining their information in a secure digital ***,we improve the default routing mechanism of VNDN from pull to a push-based content dissemination using Publish-Subscribe(Pub-Sub)*** implemented and evaluated our ML-based classification model on a publicly accessible BurST-Asutralian dataset for Misbehavior Detection(BurST-ADMA).We used five(05)hybrid ML classifiers,including Logistic Regression,Decision Tree,K-Nearest Neighbors,Random Forest,and Gaussian Naive *** qualitative results indicate that Random Forest has achieved the highest average accuracy rate of 100%.Our proposed research offers the most accurate solution to detect CPA in VNDN for safe,secure,and reliable vehicle communication.

The purpose of this work is to find new soliton solutions of the complex Ginzburg–Landau equation(GLE)with Kerr law *** considered equation is an imperative nonlinear partial differential equation(PDE)in the field of *** applications of complex GLE can be found in optics,plasma and other related *** modified extended tanh technique with Riccati equation is applied to solve the Complex *** results are presented under a suitable choice for the values of *** are shown using the three and two-dimensional plots to represent the shape of the solution in real,and imaginary parts in order to discuss the similarities and difference between *** graphical representation of the results depicts the typical behavior of soliton *** obtained soliton solutions are of different forms,such as,hyperbolic and trigonometric *** results presented in this paper are novel and reported first time in the *** results establish the validity and applicability of the suggested technique for the complex *** suggested method with symbolic computational software such as,Mathematica and Maple,is proven as an effective way to acquire the soliton solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations(PDEs)as well as complex PDEs.
