This pa.er proposes optimiza.ion models of crude oil distilla.ion column for both limited a.d unlimited feed stock a.d ma.ket va.ue of known products prices. The feed to the crude distilla.ion column wa. a.sumed to be crude oil conta.ning na.htha.ga., kerosene, petrol a.d diesel a. the light-light key, light key, hea.y key a.d hea.y-hea.y key respectively. The models determined ma.imum concentra.ions of hea.y key in the distilla.e a.d light key in the bottom for limited feed stock a.d ma.ket condition. Both were impurities in their respective positions of the column. The limiting constra.nts were sa.es specifica.ion concentra.ion of light key in the distilla.e [ ], hea.y key in the bottom [ ] a.d a. opera.ing loa.ing constra.nt of flooding a.ove the feed tra.. For unlimited feed stock a.d ma.ket condition, the optimiza.ion models determined the optimum sepa.a.ion [ a.d ] a.d feed flow ra.e tha. would give ma.imum profit with minimum purity sa.es specifica.ion constra.nts of light key in the distilla.e a.d hea.y key in the bottom a. sta.ed a.ove. The feed loa.ing wa. limited by the reboiler ca.a.ity. However, there is need to simula.e the optimiza.ion models for a. existing crude oil distilla.ion column of a.refinery in order to va.ida.e the models.

One of the promising a.d emerging enha.ced oil recovery techniques in both sa.dstones a.d ca.bona.es is engineered wa.er injection(EWI).However,few studies discussed the field-sca.e a.plica.ions of this technique in heterogeneous ca.bona.e *** pa.er is a. extension of our previous work of the EWI technology a. *** resea.ch numerica.ly investiga.es heterogeneity effect on EWI technique in ca.bona.es a. field-sca.e using five-spot *** synthetic five-spot sector models were considered including homogeneous,heterogeneous with permea.ility cha.neling,a.d heterogeneous with gra.ity *** results showed tha. Na.ura. ra.ionuclides content in gra.ite from eight functiona. qua.ries in Osun Sta.e, Southwestern Nigeria.wa. a.sessed. Eighty gra.ite sa.ples comprise?&fra.34?inches.?&fra.12?inch a.d stone-dust were collected from Wolid, Sla.a. a.ofe, Espro, Ife/Moda.eke, Krysta. Vountein, Cla.io a.d Omidira. qua.ries in the Sta.e. Mea.urement wa. done using a.high purity germa.ium (HPGe) detector. The sta.istica. a.a.ysis wa. ca.ried out using Sta.istica. Pa.ka.e for Socia. Sciences (SPSS) softwa.e to determine if gra.ite size ha. a. impa.t on the a.tivity concentra.ions. The results revea.ed tha. the mea. a.tivity concentra.ions of 238U (12.64 ± 1.89 Bq·kg -1) a.d 232Th (16.93 ± 2.46 Bq·kg -1) were highest in?&fra.34?inch gra.ite a.d lowest in stone-dust (5.01 ± 0.77 a.d 8.97 ± 1.37 Bq·kg -1 respectively), wherea. 40K is highest in the &fra.34?inches (266.19 ± 35.53 Bq·kg -1) a.d lowest in?&fra.12?inches (151.85 ± 25.09 Bq·kg -1) gra.ite. Espro ha. the highest (23.75 ± 3.74 Bq·kg -1) while Wolid ha. the lowest (4.11 ± 0.73 Bq·kg -1) 238U a.tivity concentra.ion a.d Sla.a.ha. lowest for 232Th (8.21 ± 1.12 Bq·kg -1) a.d 40K (109.54 ± 11.06 Bq·kg -1). The beha.ior of objects in motion is described by the equa.ions of motion, which a.e ba.ic concepts in ma.hema.ica. physics. These equa.ions a.e useful in expla.ning how forces a.d torques ca.se body components to move a.ound a.joint when a.plied to joint movement, especia.ly in biomecha.ics. In the orthopedic industries, biomecha.ics is widely used to develop orthopa.dic impla.ts for a.ra.ge of body joints, denta. pa.ts, externa. fixa.ions, exoskeletons, a.d other medica. uses. In this ca.e, the motion of a.phenomenon is described using a.nonlinea. differentia. model. One of the most effective a.proa.hes for describing the qua.ita.ive beha.ior of a.dyna.ica. system is the introduction of Lya.unov methods. Sta.ility a.a.ysis a.d boundedness of solutions of a.nonlinea. differentia. equa.ion model, pa.ticula.ly in the context of knee joint movement, enta.ls a.a.yzing how minor perturba.ions (like cha.ges in force, position, or velocity) influence the beha.ior of the joint a.d rema.n within a.finite ra.ge over time, respectively. The goa. is to determine whether the system returns to a.stea.y sta.e (sta.le) or becomes unsta.le when subjected to these sma.l cha.ges. The effect of viscous da.ping, externa. input, a.d a.gula. motions a. different times in seconds a.e a.l controlled to govern the sha.k knee movement surrounding the knee joint. Hydro-clima.ologica. study is difficult in most of the developing countries due to the pa.city of monitoring sta.ions. Gridded clima.ologica. da.a.provides a. opportunity to extra.ola.e clima.e to a.ea. without monitoring sta.ions ba.ed on their a.ility to replica.e the Spa.io-tempora. distribution a.d va.ia.ility of observed da.a.ets. Simple correla.ion a.d error a.a.yses a.e not enough to predict the va.ia.ility a.d distribution of precipita.ion a.d tempera.ure. In this study, the coefficient of correla.ion (R2), Root mea. squa.e error (RMSE), mea. bia. error (MBE) a.d mea. wet a.d dry spell lengths were used to eva.ua.e the performa.ce of three widely used da.ly gridded precipita.ion, ma.imum a.d minimum tempera.ure da.a.ets from the Clima.ic Resea.ch Unit (CRU), Princeton University Globa. Meteorologica. Forcing (PGF) a.d Clima.e Foreca.t System Rea.a.ysis (CFSR) da.a.ets a.a.la.le over the Niger Delta.pa.t of Nigeria. The Sta.da.dised Precipita.ion Index wa. used to a.sess the confidence of using gridded precipita.ion products on wa.er resource ma.a.ement. Results of correla.ion, error, a.d spell length a.a.ysis revea.ed tha. the CRU a.d PGF da.a.ets performed much better tha. the CFSR da.a.ets. SPI va.ues a.so indica.e a.good a.socia.ion between sta.ion a.d CRU precipita.ion products. The CFSR da.a.ets in compa.ison with the other da.a.products in ma.y yea.s overestima.ed a.d underestima.ed the SPI. This indica.es wea. a.cura.y in predicta.ility, hence not relia.le for wa.er resource ma.a.ement in the study a.ea. However, CRU da.a.products were found to perform much better in most of the sta.istica. a.sessments conducted. This ma.es the methods used in this study to be useful for the a.sessment of va.ious gridded da.a.ets in va.ious hydrologica. a.d clima.ic a.plica.ions.
