Modern power systems are incorporated with distributed energy sources to be environmental-friendly and ***,due to the uncertainties of the system integrated with renewable energy sources,effective strategies need to be adopted to stabilize the entire power ***,the system operators need accurate prediction tools to forecast the dynamic system states *** this paper,we propose a Bayesian deep learning approach to predict the dynamic system state in a general power ***,the input system dataset with multiple system features requires the data pre-processing ***,we obtain the dynamic state matrix of a general power system through the Newton-Raphson power flow ***,by incorporating the state matrix with the system features,we propose a Bayesian long short-term memory(BLSTM)network to predict the dynamic system state variables *** results show that the accurate prediction can be achieved at different scales of power systems through the proposed Bayesian deep learning approach.

Let {Pn},n≥0 denote the Catalan-Larcombe-French sequence, which naturally came from the series expansion of the complete elliptic integral of the first kind. In this paper, we prove the strict log-concavity of the sequence { n√Pn}n≥1, which was originally conjectured by Z. W. Sun. We also obtain the strict log-concavity of the sequence {n√Vn}n≥1, where {Vn}n≥0 is the Fennessey-Larcombe- French sequence arising from the series expansion of the complete elliptic integral of the second kind.

During air injection into an oil reservoir,an oxidation reaction generates some heat to raise the reservoir *** the reservoir temperature reaches an ignition temperature,spontaneous ignition *** is a time delay from the injection to *** are mixed results regarding the feasibility of spontaneous ignition in real-field projects and in laboratory *** analytical model is available in the literature to estimate the oxidation time required to reach spontaneous ignition with heat *** paper discusses the feasibility of spontaneous ignition from theoretical points and experimental and field project *** analytical model considering heat loss is *** models with and without heat loss investigate the factors that affect spontaneous *** on the discussion and investigations,we find that it is more difficult for spontaneous ignition to occur in laboratory experiments than in oil reservoirs;spontaneous ignition is strongly affected by the initial reservoir temperature,oil activity,and heat loss;spontaneous ignition is only possible when the initial reservoir temperature is high,the oil oxidation rate is high,and the heat loss is low.

Ultrafine particles are associated with adverse health effects. Total Particle Number Concentration（TNC） of fine particles were measured during 2002 at the St. Louis — Midwest supersite. The time series showed overall low level with frequent large peaks. The time series was analyzed alongside criteria pollutant measurements and meteorological observations. Multiple regression analysis was used to identify further contributing factors and to determine the association of different pollutants with TNC levels. This showed the strong contribution of sulfur dioxide（SO2） and nitrogen oxides（NO x） to high TNC levels. The analysis also suggested that increased dispersion resulting from faster winds and higher mixing heights led to higher TNC levels. Overall, the results show that there were intense particle nucleation events in a SO2 rich plume reaching the site which contributed around 29% of TNC. A further 40% was associated with primary emissions from mobile sources. By separating the remaining TNC by time of day and clear sky conditions,we suggest that most likely 8% of TNC are due to regional nucleation events and 23% are associated with the general urban background.

Background'.Increased physical activity and fruit and vegetable(FV)intake are typically suggested to counter *** behavior change in those areas has,however,been poor,possibly because of a lack of understanding of the effects of psychosocial *** data from previous research,this study aimed to better define the role of physical activity and FV intake in short;and long-term weight loss via changes in malleable psychosocial mediators and ***:Women who were obese(n=183;age=50.0±7.9 years;body mass index=35.2±3.2 kg/m2,mean±SD)and who previously participated in 3 different community-based behavioral weight-loss treatments were assessed over 2 *** in FV intake,physical activity,sei^regulation of physical activity and eating(aggregated),negative mood,and weight were measured over 6 and 24 ***'.Changes in each variable over both 6 and 24 months were significant(all p values<0.001).The FV intake to the weight-related caloric intake relationship(β=.0.30,p<0.001)was significantly mediated by selfregulation change over 6 *** physical activity to weightchange relationship(β=.0.46,p<0.001)was significantly mediated by both sei±regulation and mood change over 24 *** activity,itself,accounted for only 16%of weight-related caloric expenditure *** in physical activity and FV intake were each independent predictors of weight change over 24 months(overall R2=0.50,p<0.001).Conclusion-.Findings clarified theory-based targets for weight-management treatments and suggested that future weight-loss treatments strongly focus on developing self-regulatory skills to address barriers to behavioral changes.

Eutrophication is the most widespread water quality issue *** date,most efforts to control eutrophication have focused on reductions of external nutrient inputs,yet importance of nutrient stoichiometry and subsequent shift in plankton composition in aquatic ecosystem has been largely *** address eutrophication,improved sanitation is one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals,spurring the constructions of wastewater treatment facilities that have improved water quality in many lakes and ***,control measures are often targeted at and effective in removing a single nutrient from sewage and thus are less effective in removing the others,resulting in the changes of nutrient *** general,more effective phosphorus removal relative to nitrogen has occurred in wastewater treatment leading to substantial increases in N/P ratios in effluent relative to the ***,high N/P ratios in receiving waters can impose negative influences on ***,longterm strategies for domestic wastewater management should not merely focus on the total reduction of nutrient discharge but also consider their stoichiometric balances in receiving waters.

Development of Water Quality Index (WQI) model for the groundwater in Tirupur district, South India

Groundwater quality of the Tiruppur district in Tamil Nadu was investigated in this study to develop a Water Quality Index (WQI) model. Hydrochemical parameters showed tremendous variation in certain location over the seasons. Ionic chemistry of groundwater suggested that textile industries and rock-water interaction are major threats to the water quality. Analysis of Na and Ca concentration indicates that direct as well as the inverse cation exchange controls the natural cation chemistry. NO3 concentration shows that the pre-monsoon samples were affected by the fertilizer usage in agricultural fields. Na-Cl type of the water was dominant throughout the study area except few locations. WQI showed that 55% of the pre-monsoon samples and the 47% of the post monsoon samples were classified as poor/very poor/unsuitable for drinking category. Leaching of the textile waste and their transport to the downstream was well observed during the post-monsoon season. The specific contribution of river Noyyal in the transport of the solutes to the discharge zones was proved by the hydrochemistry of the samples.
