Glioblastoma(GBM),the deadliest form of brain cancer,presents long-standing problems due to its *** antigen receptor(CAR)T cell immunotherapy has emerged as a powerful strategy to treat ***-13-receptor-α2(IL13Rα2),present in over 75%of GBMs,has been recognized as an attractive candidate for antiglioblastoma ***,we propose a novel multidisciplinary approach to target brain tumors using a combination of fluorescent,therapeutic nanoparticles and CAR T cells modified with a targeted-quadruplemutant of IL13(TQM-13)shown to have high binding affinity to IL13Rα2-expressing glioblastoma cells with low off-target ***-alkyne cycloaddition conjugation of nanoparticles to the surface of T cells allowed a facile,selective,and high-yielding clicking of the *** clicked onto T cells were retained for at least 8 days showing that the linkage is stable and promising a suitable time window for in vivo delivery.T cells clicked with doxorubicin-loaded nanoparticles showed a higher cytotoxic effect in vitro compared to bare T *** vitro and in vivo T cells expressing TQM-13 served as delivery shuttles for nanoparticles and significantly increased the number of nanoparticles reaching brain tumors compared to nanoparticles *** work represents a new platform to allow the delivery of therapeutic nanoparticles and T cells to solid tumors.

目的:本研究旨在客观测量体力活动以确定纵向轨迹;通过不同轨迹识别未知分组;检测社区居住女性中隐匿分组的关系。方法:研究样本包括来自"女性损伤研究"的669名女性。该研究是2007年在美国西南部中心地区进行的一项为期5年的前瞻性群组研究。研究将计步器连续18个月测得的计步数据拟合成一个隐匿发展模型和一个隐匿类型发展模型;对隐匿类型成员的基线特征进行回归分析。结果:体力活动的纵向变化随季节的转换很好地适应分段隐匿发展模型。在春、秋、冬季分别观察到体力活动水平明显提高和降低(p<0.001)。确定体力活动轨迹不同的3个隐匿分组:低活跃组(46.8%)、一般活跃组(41.3%)、活跃组(11.9%)。基线年龄和体脂百分比对低活跃组形成的可能性予以充分解释。结论:尽管可以确认女性体力活动的季节性变化,但变化并不明显。相对较大部分的样本显示女性体力活动长期处于低水平。对超重或肥胖以及年龄大于40岁的女性应进行适当干预,以提高其体力活动水平。

Objective:This study aimed to compare the historical incidence rate of severe oral mucositis(OM)in head and neck cancer patients undergoing definitive concurrent chemoradiation therapy(CRT)versus a prospective cohort of patients with locally advanced head and neck squamous cell carcinoma(HNSCC)treated with prophylactic photobiomodulation therapy(PBMT).Methods:This US-based,institutional,single-arm,phaseⅡprospective clinical trial was initiated in 50 patients(age≥18 years,Karnofsky Performance Scale Index>60,with locally advanced HNSCC(excluding oral cavity)receiving definitive or adjuvant radiation therapy(RT)with concurrent platinum-based chemotherapy(CT).PBMT was delivered three times per week throughout RT utilizing both an intraoral as well extraoral delivery *** outcome measure was incidence of severe OM utilizing both the National Cancer Institute Common Toxicity Criteria,version 4.0(NCI-CTCAE)Grade≥3 and the World Health Organization Mucositis Grading Scale(WHO)Grade≥3 versus historical controls;secondary outcome measures included time to onset of severe OM following therapy ***:At baseline,all patients included in final analysis(N=47)had OM Grade *** RT and CT dose was(66.3±5.1)Gy and(486.1±106.8)mg/m ^(2),*** OM was observed in 11 of 47 patients(23%,confidence interval:12,38).OM toxicity grade trended upward during treatment,reaching a maximum at 7 weeks(WHO:1.8 ***-CTCAE:1.7).Subsequently,OM grade returned to baseline 3 months following completion of *** mean time to onset of severe OM was(35±12)*** mean time to resolution of severe OM was(37±37)***:Compared to historical outcomes,PBMT aides in decreasing severe OM in patients with locally advanced *** represents a minimally invasive,prophylactic intervention to decrease OM as a major treatment-related side effect.

Purpose To quantify the effects of an externally worn collar device for mitigating the influence of repetitive head impacts on alterations to diffusion tensor imaging(DTI)metrics of white *** Fifteen female high-school soccer athletes(age:14.00-16.98 yrs)completed pre-and post-season DTI over two consecutive years,including measures of diffusivity,changes in which may be associated with brain *** collar was worn during year 1(Yr1)but not during year 2(Yr2).Athlete exposures(AEs)and head impact exposure were recorded over the competitive *** There were no significant differences in AEs or head impact exposures between Yr1 and Yr2(P>0.05).In Yr2,there was significant pre-to post-season mean diffusivity and/or axial diffusivity reduction in multiple WM regions(cor-rected P<0.05).Pre-to post-season mean diffusivity,axial diffusivity,and radial diffusivity decreases were 3.04%±2.53%,2.97%±2.19%,and 3.37%±3.34%,respectively,significantly greater than pre-to post-season changes in Yr1(mean dif-fusivity:-0.31%±1.78%,P=0.0014;axial diffusivity:-0.02%±2.25%,P=0.0014;radial diffusivity:-0.63%±2.10%,P=0.0030).Conclusions Mild bilateral compression to athletes'internal jugular vein through collar application may have increased intracranial blood volume and spatially redistributed head-impact-derived brain energy ***,future research is needed to elucidate the potential clinical significance of WM changes of various *** trails registration NCT03014492.

In this study, chlorine decay experiments were conducted for the raw water from Nakdong River that is treated by Chllseo Water Treatment Plant （CWTP） situated in Haman, Korea as well as the effluents from sand and granular activated carbon （GAC） filters of CWTP and fitted using a chlorine decay model. The model estimated the fast and slow reacting nitrogenous as well as organic/inorganic compounds that were present in the water. It was found that the chlorine demand due to fast and slow reacting （FRA and SRA） organic/inorganic substances was not reduced significantly by sand as well as GAC filters. However, the treated effluents from those filters contained FRA and SRA that are less reactive and had small reaction rate constants. For the effluents from microfiltration, ultrafiltration, and nanofiltration the chlorine demand because FRA and SRA were further reduced but the reaction rate constants were larger compared to those of sand and GAC filter effluents. This has implications in the formation of disinfection by products （DBPs）. If DBPs are assumed to form due to the interactions between chlorine and SRA, then it is possible that the DBP formation potential in the effluents from membrane filtrations could be higher than that in the effluents from granular media filters.
