系统梳理裸子植物系统分类历史,按标志性研究进展,将1753年以来裸子植物分类研究历史划分为6个发展阶段:第1阶段为混沌时期(1753—1827年),从Linnaeus至Brown提出裸子植物概念之前,裸子植物未被作为一个类群处理,以Linnaeus的性系统为代表;第2阶段为概念形成时期(1827—1843年),从Brown发现裸子植物至Brongniart正式将裸子植物处理为一个类群之前,是裸子植物发现和概念的确立时期;第3阶段为萌芽时期(1843—1864年),从Brongniart至Braun之前,这一时期人们虽然将裸子植物作为一个类群处理,但还是将它作为被子植物双子叶植物的一个部分,代表系统如Bentham&Hooker的分类系统;第4阶段为裸子植物系统分类的奠基时期(1864—1926年),从Braun至Pilger,这个阶段人们将裸子植物从被子植物中独立出来,发现了银杏精子具鞭毛这样的原始性状,将银杏从红豆杉类植物中分出,厘清了裸子植物的主要传代线,奠定了裸子植物系统分类的基础,但是该时期人们对裸子植物科的概念还比较模糊,以Eichler和Engler的系统为代表,为后续分类系统奠定基础;第5阶段为“百家争鸣”时期(1926—2011年),从Pilger至Christenhusz等之前,该时期提出的分类系统很多,分类阶元的应用从目至门都有不同的观点,且从形态学、解剖学、胚胎学、植物化学、古植物学、分支分类学等方面,证据类型和方法十分多样。争论主要集中在银杏、红豆杉类和买麻藤类等类群的亲缘关系和系统归属,以及对罗汉松科、杉科和柏科的界定方面,以Pilger系统和郑万钧为代表;第6阶段是分子系统学和整合分类学时期(2007—),从Anderson等至今,该时期以分支分类学原理为准则,以系统发生树为骨架,综合分子系统学、解剖学、形态学、植物化学以及分子系统学等证据,建立和完善裸子植物分类系统,以yang等提出的裸子植物分类系统为本阶段的代表性分类系统。笔者还展望了裸子植物未来在物种界定、整合分类学以及保护生物学等方面的重点研究发展趋势。

Combining anodic alcohol oxidative coupling for C-C bond formation with cathodic ammonia production

Electrocatalytic oxidation of alcohols using heterogeneous catalysts is a promising aqueous, energy-efficient and environmentally friendly approach, especially for coupling different alcohols to prolong the carbon chain via co-oxidation. Precisely regulating critical steps to tailor electrode materials and electrolyte composition is key to selectively coupling alcohols for targeted synthesis. However, selectively coupling different alcohols remains challenging due to the lack of effective catalyst and electrolyte design promoting specific pathways. Herein, we demonstrate a paired electrolysis strategy for combining anodic oxidative coupling of ethanol（EtOH） and benzyl alcohol（PhCH2OH） to synthesize cinnamaldehyde（CAL） and cathodic ammonia production. The strategies involve:（i） utilizing the salt-out effect to balance selective oxidation and coupling rates;（ii） developing platinum-loaded nickel hydroxide electrocatalysts to accelerate intermediate coupling kinetics;（iii） introducing thermodynamically favorable nitrate reduction at the cathode to improve coupling selectivity by avoiding hydrogenation of products while generating valuable ammonia instead of hydrogen. We achieved 85% coupling selectivity and 278 μmol/h NH3productive rate at 100 m A/cm2with a low energy input（～1.63 V）. The membrane-free, low energy, scalable approach with a wide substrate scope highlights promising applications of this methodology. This work advances heterogeneous electrocatalytic synthesis through rational design principles that integrate anodic oxidative coupling with cathodic nitrate reduction reactions, having synergistic effects on efficiency and selectivity.

Ulcerative colitis(UC)is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease characterized by persistent inflammation of the colon and disrupted intestinal *** mori(Sangzhi)alkaloids(SZ-A),derived from twigs of mulberry,were approved by the National Medical Products Administration in 2020 for treating type 2 diabetes *** evidence has confirmed that SZ-A also alleviates non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and ameliorates inflammation,indicating its potential to address inflammation in ***,the treatment of UC faces challenges due to low drug delivery efficiency and short retention *** overcome these challenges,an injectable and adherent in-situ thermo-sensitive hydrogel containing SZ-A was developed for rectal drug delivery,utilizing the thermo-sensitive polymers Poloxamer 407and *** thermo-sensitive hydrogel system was designed with a moderate gelation temperature of 32±0.5℃,a short gelation time of 64 s,a p H range of 7-10,high moisturizing capability exceeding 90%,and moderate mechanical strength of 4-5 *** a rat model with UC,the in situ thermo-sensitive hydrogel significantly extended the retention time at the colonic site and enabled sustained release after rectal *** of UC were markedly reduced following rectal administration of SZ-A thermosensitive ***,the release of inflammatory factors,such as interleukin-1β(IL-1β),IL-6,IL-18,tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),and transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1),significantly decreased in the SZ-A thermo-sensitive hydrogel *** integrity of the colonic mucosal barrier was significantly enhanced following the application of SZ-A thermo-sensitive *** conclusion,rectal administration of SZ-A in situ thermo-sensitive hydrogel effectively alleviated UC symptoms,inhibited the secretion of inflammatory factors,and promoted the repair of the colonic mucosal *** approach holds promise as a potential treatment for UC.

Chemotherapeutics can induce immunogenic cell death(ICD)in tumor cells,offering new possibilities for cancer ***,the efficiency of the immune response generated is insufficient due to the inhibitory nature of the tumor microenvironment(TME).Here,we developed a pH/reactive oxygen species(ROS)dual-response system to enhance chemoimmunotherapy for *** system productively accumulated in tumors by specific binding of phenylboronic acid(PBA)to sialic acids(SA).The nanoparticles(NPs)rapidly swelled and released quercetin(QUE)and doxorubicin(DOX)upon the stimulation of tumor microenvironment(TME).The in vitro and in vivo results consistently demonstrated that the NPs improved anti-tumor efficacy and prolonged survival of mice,significantly enhancing the effects of the *** study revealed DOX was an ICD inducer,stimulating immune responses and promoting maturation of dendritic cells(DCs).Additionally,QUE served as a TME regulator by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase-2(COX2)-prostaglandin E2(PGE2)axis,which influenced various immune cells,including increasing cytotoxic T cells(CLTs)infiltration,promoting M1 macrophage polarization,and reducing regulatory T cells(Tregs)*** combination synergistically facilitated chemoimmunotherapy efficacy by remodeling the immunosuppressive *** work presents a promising strategy to increase anti-tumor efficiency of chemotherapeutic agents.

Long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)play an indispensable role in the occurrence and development of ovarian cancer(OC).However,the potential involvement of lncRNAs in the progression of OC is largely *** investigate the detailed roles and mechanisms of RAD51 homolog B-antisense 1(RAD51B-AS1),a novel lncRNA in OC,reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR)was performed to verify the expression of *** proliferation,metastasis,and apoptosis were detected using the cell counting kit-8(CCK-8),colony-formation,transwell,and flow cytometry *** xenograft models were established for the detection of *** results revealed that RAD51B-AS1 was significantly upregulated in a highly metastatic human OC cell line and OC ***51B-AS1 significantly increased the proliferation and metastasis of OC cells and enhanced their resistance to *** prediction analysis revealed that the only target gene of RAD51B-AS1 was *** gene function experiments revealed that RAD51B exerts the same biological effects as *** experiments demonstrated that the malignant biological behaviors promoted by RAD51B-AS1 overexpression were partially or completely reversed by RAD51B silencing in vitro and in ***,RAD51B-AS1 promotes the malignant biological behaviors of OC and activates the protein kinase B(Akt)/B cell lymphoma protein-2(Bcl-2)signaling pathway,and these effects may be associated with the positive regulation of RAD51B ***51B-AS1 is expected to serve as a novel molecular biomarker for the diagnosis and prediction of poor prognosis in OC,and as a potential therapeutic target for disease management.

BACKGROUND Pulmonary fibrosis is one of the main reasons for the high mortality rate among acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS)*** stromal cell-derived microvesicles(MSC-MVs)have been shown to exert antifibrotic effects in lung *** To investigate the effects and mechanisms of MSC-MVs on pulmonary fibrosis in ARDS mouse *** MSC-MVs with low hepatocyte growth factor(HGF)expression(siHGF-MSC-MVs)were obtained via lentivirus transfection and used to establish the ARDS pulmonary fibrosis mouse *** intubation,respiratory mechanics-related indicators were measured via an experimental small animal lung function *** of MSC-MVs in lung tissues was investigated by near-infrared live ***,western blotting,ELISA and other methods were used to detect expression of pulmonary fibrosis-related proteins and to compare effects on pulmonary fibrosis and fibrosis-related *** The MSC-MVs gradually migrated and homed to damaged lung tissues in the ARDS model *** with MSC-MVs significantly reduced lung injury and pulmonary fibrosis ***,low expression of HGF(siHGF-MSC-MVs)significantly inhibited the effects of MSC-MVs(P<0.05).Compared with the ARDS pulmonary fibrosis group,the MSC-MVs group exhibited suppressed expression of type I collagen antigen,type III collagen antigen,and the proteins transforming growth factor-βandα-smooth muscle actin,whereas the siHGF-MVs group exhibited significantly increased expression of these *** addition,pulmonary compliance and the pressure of oxygen/oxygen inhalation ratio were significantly lower in the MSC-MVs group,and the effects of the MSC-MVs were significantly inhibited by low HGF expression(all P<0.05).CONCLUSION MSC-MVs improved lung ventilation functions and inhibited pulmonary fibrosis in ARDS mice partly via HGF mRNA transfer.
