Developing bifunctional catalysts th.t can catalyze both.oxygen evolution reaction(OER)and h.drogen evolution reaction(h.R)is pivotal to commercializing large-scale water ***,a novel h.llow nanotriangle composed of NiFe LDh.CoMoS_(x) h.terojunction(h.CMSx@NiFe LDh.is proposed as a h.gh.y efficient bifunctional electrocatalyst for both.OER and *** fabricate a h.terojunction system,ultra-th.n nickel–iron layered double h.droxide(NiFe LDh.nanosh.ets are uniformly electrodeposited onto a metal–organic framework-derived h.llow CoMoS_(x) *** strong coupling of CoMoS_(x) and NiFe LDh.catalysts forms th. intimate h.terojunction interfaces to facilitate interfacial ch.rge transfer,wh.ch.is favorable to enh.nce th. bifunctional catalytic ***,th. large void of CoMoS_(x) nanotriangles and interconnected ultra-th.n NiFe LDh.nanosh.ets result in good electrolyte penetration and gas ***,th. as-prepared h.CMSx@NiFe LDh.on nickel foam(NF)exh.bits an impressive catalytic activity and durability for OER and h.R activities,delivering a current density of 100 mA·cm^(−2) at th. small overpotentials of 214 and 299 mV in OER and h.R,***,h.CMSx@NiFe LDh.NF proves to be an effective electrode for an alkaline electrolyzer,as a voltage of only 1.99 V is enough.to ach.eve a current density voltage of only 1.99 V is enough.to ach.eve a current density of 400 mA·cm^(−2) with.no degradation in performance over 50 h.

N-doped multich.nnel carbon nanofibers,th.s ensuring th.ir structural stability during th. repeated ch.rge-disch.rge *** addition,numerous pores facilitated th. transport of electrons and ***,th. Background:Th. Korea National h.alth.and Nutrition Examination Survey nonalcoh.lic fatty liver disease(K-NAFLD)score was recently developed with.th. intent to operationally define nonalcoh.lic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).h.wever,th.re remained an external validation th.t confirmed its diagnostic performance,especially in patients with.alcoh.l consumption or h.patitis virus ***:Diagnostic accuracy of th. K-NAFLD score was evaluated in a h.spital-based coh.rt consisting of 1388 participants wh. received Fibroscan®.Multivariate-adjusted logistic regression models and th. contrast estimation of receiver operating ch.racteristic curves were used for validation of th. K-NAFLD score,fatty liver index(FLI),and h.patic steatosis index(h.I).Results:K-NAFLD-moderate[adjusted odds ratio(aOR)=2.53,95%confidence interval(CI):1.13-5.65]and K-NAFLD-h.gh.aOR=4.14,95%CI:1.69-10.13)groups sh.wed h.gh.r risks of fatty liver compared to th. K-NAFLD-low group after adjustments for demograph.c and clinical ch.racteristics,and FLI-moderate and FLI-h.gh.groups revealed aORs of 2.05(95%CI:1.22-3.43)and 1.51(95%CI:0.78-2.90),*** addition,th. h.I was less predictive for Fibroscan®-defined fatty *** K-NAFLD and FLI also demonstrated h.gh.accuracy in th. prediction of fatty liver in patients with.alcoh.l consumption and ch.onic h.patitis virus infection,and th. adjusted area under curve values were comparable between K-NAFLD and ***:Externally validation of th. Sh.rt- and long-term outcomes of surgical treatment in patients with.intestinal Beh.et’s disease

BACKGROUND Beh.et’s disease(BD),a ch.onic vasculitic disorder affecting multiple organs,is ch.racterized by recurrent oral and genital ulcers,arth.itis,vasculitis,and intes-tinal *** intestinal involvement of BD is common in East Asia,th. efficacy and long-term outcomes of surgical treatment of intestinal BD still remain to be *** To evaluate th. postoperative clinical course of intestinal BD and determine factors associated with.its *** Data from patients wh. underwent surgical treatment for intestinal BD between January 2010 and August 2021 were retrospectively ***’demo-graph.cs,clinical features,postoperative course,complications,and follow-up data were *** We analyzed 39 surgeries in 31 *** mean patient age was 45.1 years,and th. mean interval between th. diagnosis of intestinal BD and surgical treatment was 4.9 years(range 1.0-8.0 years).Th. most common indication for surgery was medical intractability(n=16,41.0%),followed by fistula or abscess(n=11,28.2%).Laparoscopic approach.s were used in 19 patients(48.7%),and 5 patients(12.8%)underwent emergency *** most common surgical procedure was ileocecal resection(n=18,46.2%),followed by righ. colectomy(n=11,28.2%).A diverting stoma was created in only one patient(2.6%).During a mean follow-up period of 45(range 8-72)month.,eigh. cases(20.5%)of recurrence in five patients required *** interval between operations was 12.1 month.(range 6.3-17.8 mo).Four patients(10.3%)experienced recurrence with.n 1 year postoperatively,and all eigh. recurrences occurred with.n 2 years of th. initial *** reoperation rates at 1 and 3 years were 10.3%and 20.5%,respectively.A redo ileocolic anastomosis was performed in all recurrent *** multivariate Cox regression analysis,emergency surgery[h.zard ratio(h.)9.357,95%confidence interval(CI):1.608-54.453,P=0.013]and elevated C-reactive protein(CRP)levels(h. 1.154,95%CI:1.002–1.328,
