Aim: To study the advantage of excision of the distal symptomatic ureteric stumps with the retroperitoneal laparo-scopic approach. methods: Four patients who had failed to settle their symptoms with the initial conservative man-agement were included in the study. All underwent excision of the distal symptomatic ureteric stumps with the retroperi-toneal laparoscopic approach and then received prophylactic antibiotics. Results: We have achieved better resultsthan those reported in the literature in terms of operating time (mean 1 h 45 min), blood loss ( mL), postopera-tive recovery (within 12 h) and hospital stay ( eritoneal laparoscopic excision is asafe, simple and effective method in the management of symptomatic ureteric stumps.

Interferon(IFN)-induced transmembrane protein 3(IFITm3)is a potent antiviral factor capable of restricting numerous virus infections.1 Viruses inhibited by IFITm3 generally enter cells via endocytosis,and are trafficked to IFITm3-positive intracellular membrane compartments.1,2 IFITm3-positive compartments are acidic and stain positive for a variety of endosomal,lysosomal and autophagosomal markers.2,3 Although the membrane fusion of many endocytic viruses,such as influenza virus,is triggered by acidic pH,fusion is blocked in the presence of IFITm3,and virions are degraded2,4,5(Figure 1).It has been proposed that IFITm3 alters membrane properties,including rigidity and curvature,to inhibit virus membrane fusion.5 The molecular mechanism underlying these IFITm3-induced membrane alterations is not well characterized,and whether IFITm3 has other cellular functions is also not known.

In this letter, the modified jacob/elliptic function expansion method is extended to solve m-coupled KdV equation, m-coupled Ito equation, vKdV equation, and AKNS equation. Some new jacob/elliptic function solutions are obtained by using mathematica. When the modulus m→1, those periodic solutions degenerate as the corresponding soliton solutions.

In this paper we study properties of the secondary Hochschild homology of the triple （A, B, ε） with coefficients in m. We establish a type of morita equivalence between two triples and show that H.（（A,B,ε）; m） is invariant under this equivalence. We also prove the existence of an exact sequence which connects the usual and the secondary Hochschild homologies in low dimension~ allowing one to perform easy computations. The functoriality of H.（（A, B, ε）; m） is also discussed.

Wireless sensor network(WSN)is an emerging technology which find useful in several application areas such as healthcare,environmentalmonitoring,border surveillance,*** issues that exist in the designing of WSN are node localization,coverage,energy efficiency,security,and so *** spite of the issues,node localization is considered an important issue,which intends to calculate the coordinate points of unknown nodes with the assistance of *** efficiency of the WSN can be considerably influenced by the node localization ***,this paper presents a modified search and rescue optimization based node localization technique(mSRONLT)*** major aim of themSRO-NLT technique is to determine the positioning of the unknown nodes in *** the traditional search and rescue optimization(SRO)algorithm suffers from the local optima problemwith an increase in number of iterations,mSRO algorithm is developed by the incorporation of chaotic maps to improvise the diversity of the *** application of the concept of chaotic map to the characteristics of the traditional SRO algorithm helps to achieve better exploration ability of the mSRO *** order to validate the effective node localization performance of the mSRO-NLT algorithm,a set of simulations were performed to highlight the supremacy of the presented model.A detailed comparative results analysis showcased the betterment of the mSRO-NLT technique over the other compared methods in terms of different measures.
