Persistent luminescence encoding for rapid and accurate oral-derived bacteria identification

The dysbiosis of oral microbiota contributes to diseases such as periodontitis and certain cancers by triggering the host inflammatory *** methods for the immediate and sensitive identification of oral microorganism is crucial for the rapid diagnosis and early interventions of associated *** methods for microbial detection primarily include the plate culturing,polymerase chain reaction and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,which are either time-consuming or ***,we reported a persistent luminescence-encoded multiple-channel optical sensing array and achieved the rapid and accurate identification of oral-derived *** results demonstrate that electrostatic attractions and hydrophobic-hydrophobic interactions dominate the binding of the persistent luminescent nanoprobes to oral microorganisms and the microbial identification process can be finished within 30 ***,a total of 7 oral-derived microorganisms demonstrate their own response patterns and were differentiated by linear discriminant analysis(LDA)with the accuracy up to 100%both in the solution and artificial saliva ***,the persistent luminescence encoded array sensor could also discern the microorganism mixtures with the accuracy up to 100%.The proposed persistent luminescence encoding sensor arrays in this work might offer new ideas for rapid and accurate oralderived microorganism detection,and provide new ways for disease diagnosis associated with microbial metabolism.

Multiparameter magnetic resonance imaging-based radiomics model for the prediction of rectal cancer metachronous liver metastasis

Efficient implementation of quantum permutation algorithm using a polar SrO molecule in pendular states

Quantum algorithms offer more enhanced computational efficiency in comparison to their classical counterparts when solving specific tasks. In this study, we implement the quantum permutation algorithm utilizing a polar molecule within an external electric field. The selection of the molecular qutrit involves the utilization of field-dressed states generated through the pendular modes of SrO. Through the application of multi-target optimal control theory, we strategically design microwave pulses to execute logical operations, including Fourier transform,oracle Ufoperation, and inverse Fourier transform within a three-level molecular qutrit *** observed high fidelity of our outcomes is intricately linked to the concept of the quantum speed limit, which quantifies the maximum speed of quantum state manipulation. Subsequently,we design the optimized pulse sequence to successfully simulate the quantum permutation algorithm on a single SrO molecule, achieving remarkable fidelity. Consequently, a quantum circuit comprising a single qutrit suffices to determine permutation parity with just a single function evaluation. Therefore, our results indicate that the optimal control theory can be well applied to the quantum computation of polar molecular systems.

Significance of monitoring imatinib plasma concentration in secondline treatment decisions for c-kit 11 gene-mutated gastrointestinal stromal tumors

BACKGROUND For patients with advanced gastrointestinal stromal tumors(GISTs)carrying the ckit exon 11 mutation,imatinib(IM)at a standard dosage of 400 mg per day is the preferred first-line *** cases where treatment with IM fails,there is an urgent need for a more precise assessment method to determine whether to switch therapies or escalate the IM *** approach will enhance clinical decision-making and optimize patient *** To investigate IM plasma concentration’s role in second-line treatment decisions for c-kit 11-mutated advanced GISTs post-IM *** Patients with advanced GIST harboring c-kit 11 mutation who experienced failure with IM 400 mg per day as first-line treatment at our hospital were retrospectively *** were categorized into a low plasma(LP)concentration group(LP group,ded into Group A(dose-escalation group)and Group B(drug-switch group).Baseline characteristics were compared and Kaplan-Meier curves were used to analyze the survival of *** Seventy-five patients were included in the *** the LP group(n=28),Group A(n=14)had longer overall survival(OS)than Group B(n=14)(P=0.02).No differences were observed between the two subgroups in disease control rate(DCR),objective response rate,and progression-free survival(PFS)(P>0.05).For the HP group(n=47),Group B(n=18)had a higher DCR and longer PFS than Group A(n=29)(P=0.008 and P=0.03,respectively).No difference in OS was observed between the two subgroups(P>0.05).CONCLUSION Increasing IM dosage for c-kit 11-mutated advanced GISTs post-IM failure may prolong OS if plasma concentration is<1100 ng/*** tyrosine kinase inhibitors may improve DCR and PFS if≥1100 ng/mL.

A pyrimidine derivative,6-phenyl-2-thiouracil(PT),was synthesized for developing a corrosion inhibitor(CI)applied in the protection of the nickel−aluminum bronze(NAB)in *** anti-corrosion effect of PT was evaluated by the mass loss experiment,electrochemical tests and surface *** results show that PT exhibits excellent inhibition performance and the maximum inhibition efficiency of PT reaches 99.6%.The interaction mechanism was investigated through X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and molecule dynamics simulation based on the density functional theory(DFT).The S-Cu,Al-N and Cu-N bonds are formed by the chemical interactions,leading to the adsorption of PT on the NAB *** diffusion of corrosive species is hindered considerably by the protective PT film with composition of(PT-Cu)_(ads)and(PT-Al)_(ads)on the PT/NAB *** degree of suppression is increased with the addition of more PT molecules.

Study on cook-off characteristics and thermal safety venting area of RBOE charge

RBOE is a new type of DNAN-based high-energy melt-cast mixed explosive,whose safety under thermal stimulation is significantly affected by heating conditions and venting area of the *** on the thermal decomposition reaction characteristics and combustion characteristics of each component of RBOE explosive,the cook-off calculation models of RBOE warhead before and after ignition were *** addition,closed and vented warheads were designed,as well as fast and slow cook-off test *** cook-off characteristics and thermal safety venting area of RBOE warhead were extensively *** results showed that the closed RBOE warhead underwent deflagration reaction under both slow and fast cook-off *** calculation result of the shell wall temperature before slow cookoff ignition response of the warhead was 454.06 K,with an error of+1.75%compared to the test result of462.15 K,and the temperature rise rate calculated was in good agreement with the *** calculated ignition time of RBOE warhead under fast cook-off was 161 s,with an error of+8.8%compared to the test result of 148 s,which verified the accuracy of cook-off model of RBOE warhead before *** to the cook-off calculation model of the warhead after ignition and cook-off test of the vented warhead,it was determined that the thermal safety venting area was 1124.61 mm^(2)for fast cook-off and 530.66 mm~2 for slow cook-off,effectively preventing the reaction of warhead above ***,this study provides a scientific basis for the thermal safety design and evaluation of insensitive warheads.
