Bats are the natural reservoir hosts for SARS-related coronavirus(SARSr-CoV)and other highly pathogenic ***,it is conceivable that an individual bat may harbor multiple ***,there is limited knowledge on the overall co-circulation of microorganisms in ***,we conducted a 16-year monitoring of bat viruses in south and central China and identified 238 SARSr-CoV positive samples across nine bat species from ten provinces or administrative *** these,76 individual samples were selected for further metagenomics *** found a complex microenvironment characteriz.d by the general cocirculation of microbes from two different sources:mammal-associated viruses or environment-associated *** later includes commensal bacteria,enterobacteria-related phages,and insect or fungal viruses of food *** showed that 25%(19/76)of the samples contained at least one another mammal-associated virus,notably alphacoronaviruses(13/76)such as AlphaCoV/YN2012,HKU2-related CoV and AlphaCoV/Rf-HuB2013,along with viruses from other ***,we observed three viruses co-circulating within a single bat,comprising two coronavirus species and one *** analysis also revealed the potential presence of pathogenic bacteria or fungi in ***,we obtained 25 viral genomes from the 76 bat SARSr-CoV positive samples,some of which formed new evolutionary ***,our study reveals the complex microenvironment of bat microbiome,facilitating deeper investigations into their pathogenic potential and the likelihood of cross-species transmission.

The widespread applications of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)generate tons of spent ***,recycling LIBs is of paramount importance in protecting the environment and saving the *** commercializ.d LIBs mostly adopt layered oxides such as LiCoO_(2)(LCO)or LiNi_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(1-x-y)O_(2)(NMC)as the cathode *** the intercalation-type spent oxides into conversion-type cathodes(such as metal fluorides(MFs))offers a valid recycling strategy and provides substantially improved energy densities for ***,two typical Co-based cathodes,LCO and LiNi_(0.6)Co_(0.2)Mn_(0.2)O_(2)(NMC622),in spent LIBs were successfully converted to CoF_(2) and(Ni_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(z.)F_(2) cathodes by a reduction and fluorination *** as converted CoF_(2) and(Ni_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(z.)F_(2) delivered cell energy densities of 650 and 700 Wh/kg,*** atomic-level electron microscopy revealed that the used LCO and NMC622 were converted to highly phase pure Co metal and Ni_(0.6)Co_(0.2)Mn_(0.2) alloys in the used graphite-assisted reduction roasting,simultaneously producing the important product of Li_(2)CO_(3) using only environment friendly *** study provided a versatile strategy to convert the intercalation-type Co-based cathode in the spent LIBs into conversion-type MFs cathodes,which offers a new avenue to recycle the spent LIBs and substantially increase the energy densities of next generation LIBs.

及时定位海面溢油事故发生地并监测海面溢油信息对海洋污染治理和海洋生态环境保护有重要意义。激光诱导荧光(LIF)可搭载于无人机构建LIF雷达系统并应用于海洋环境监测。LIF雷达系统以大气为传输信道,大气湍流会导致信号衰落。双向反射再辐射分布函数(BRRDF)利用受激辐射荧光光子的权重、位置和方向描述物质的荧光特性,为LIF探测海面溢油提供理论指导。基于大气湍流理论和蒙特卡罗方法模拟海面溢油的受激辐射荧光过程,建立光子传输模型进行海面溢油BRRDF的仿真研究。仿真分析不同湍流强度下,光强闪烁、光束漂移、光束扩展效应对海面溢油BRRDF的影响。仿真结果表明,海面溢油受激辐射荧光信号具有各向同性,其强度与激发光的强度成正比。光束漂移效应对荧光漂移范围影响微弱,可以忽略;在弱大气湍流下(湍流强度参数σ_(R)^(2)<1),BRRDF所表征的荧光信号强度集中在2×10^(-5)~5×10^(-5)范围内,荧光光斑半径由1mm扩展至5mm,LIF雷达系统可以正常进行探测工作;大气湍流强度到达中等后(σ_(R)^(2)≈1),荧光信号强度在10^(-5)~10^(-4)范围内波动,荧光光斑半径扩展至15mm,此时大气湍流的不利影响无法忽视,LIF雷达系统探测到的荧光信号不够稳定,最终导致光谱不理想。在实际探测中,可通过适当提高探测器性能参数来增强系统的抗湍流能力。强大气湍流下(σ_(R)^(2)=25),出现光斑破裂现象,荧光信号分散并衰落至某一阈值之下,LIF雷达系统无法探测到荧光信号。文中的分析与提出的可行的研究建议,为LIF探测海面溢油相关研究提供参考依据,对LIF雷达系统设计具有一定的参考价值。

Activation of LONP1 by 84-B10 alleviates aristolochic acid nephropathy via re-establishing mitochondrial and peroxisomal homeostasis

Pharmaceutical formulations derived from Aristolochiaceae herbs, which contain aristolochic acids(AAs), are widely used for medicinal purposes. However, exposure to these plants and isolated AAs is linked to renal toxicity, known as AA nephropathy(AAN). Currently, the mechanisms underlying AAN are not fully understood, leading to unsatisfactory treatment strategies. In this study, we explored the protective role of 84-B10(5-[[2-(4-methoxyphenoxy)-5-(trifluoromethyl) phenyl] amino]-5-oxo-3-phenylpentanoic acid) against AAN. RNA-seq analysis revealed that the mitochondrion and peroxisome were the most affected cellular components following 84-B10 treatment in AAN mice. Consistently, 84-B10 treatment preserved mitochondrial ultrastructure, restored mitochondrial respiration, enhanced the expression of key transporters(carnitine palmitoyltransferase 2) and enz.mes(acylCoenz.me A dehydrogenase, medium chain) involved in mitochondrial fatty acid β-oxidation, and reduced mitochondrial ROS generation in both aristolochic acid I(AAI)-challenged mice kidneys and cultured proximal tubular epithelial cells. Additionally, 84-B10 treatment increased the expression of key transporters(ATP binding cassette subfamily D) and rate-limiting enz.mes(acyl-CoA oxidase 1) involved in peroxisomal fatty acid β-oxidation and restored peroxisomal redox balance. Knocking down LONP1 expression diminished the protective effects of 84-B10 against AAN, suggesting LONP1-dependent protection. In conclusion, our study provides evidence that AAN is associated with significant disturbances in both mitochondrial and peroxisomal functions. The LONP1 activator 84-B10 demonstrates therapeutic potential against AAN, likely by maintaining homeostasis in both mitochondria and peroxisomes.

聚合物转化SiCN陶瓷得益于质量轻和热膨胀系数低等优势,在电磁波吸收领域受到广泛关注。由于电磁损耗机制单一及耐温性不足,SiCN陶瓷的吸波性能有待进一步提高,借助多组元协同作用增强吸波性能是可行的途径之一。本工作对聚氮硅烷结合不同化合物进行单源化改性得到SiHfCN、SiHfCN-C、SiHfCN-B和SiHfCN-N等四种纳米陶瓷。结果表明:SiHfCN中由于Hf源的含氧量高达13.5%(质量分数),生成HfO_(2)和SiO_(2),使其最低反射损耗(Reflection loss,RL_(min))仅为–13.8 dB,有效吸收带宽(Effective absorption bandwidth,EAB)仅为0.42 GHz.相比于SiHfCN,含Hf聚合物分别与C源、B源和N源共改性增加了聚合物转化陶瓷的界面和导电相,SiHfCN-C、SiHfCN-B和SiHfCN-N的介电常数实部和虚部分别提高了1.4~1.8和2.7~3.9倍,RL_(min)分别为-50.6、-57.3和-63.5 dB,EAB分别为3.53、3.99和4.01 GHz.吸波性能得到了显著改善。SiHfCN-C中大量的自由碳抑制了HfO_(2)的生成,增强了电导损耗。SiHfCN-B中生成了B–N和B–C键,且析出的纳米棒状HfSiO_(4)提供了更多的异质界面,增强了极化损耗。SiHfCN-N中因引入大量N使N–C键数量增加,强化了偶极子极化损耗,同时生成纳米碳片,不仅可以增强电导损耗,而且提供大量界面,改善了阻抗匹配并增强了界面极化,因而SiHfCN-N具有最佳的吸波性能。
