非物质文化遗产(以下简称“非遗”)是中华优秀传统文化重要组成部分,其传播更是国家法律法规层面业已承认并予以支持的保护和传承措施之一,特别是在现今媒介环境中,非遗的新媒体传播既是不可逆转的时代趋势,又是国家、社会和学界不得不着手的社会课题。该文从非遗研究的宏观视角出发,以时序划分非遗传播不同研究阶段并予以归纳分析,继而聚焦于非遗新媒体传播,分析当下“出圈”的非遗短视频的研究现状,以整体呈现非遗传播的研究进展、局限与未来发展方向,为中国非遗保护、传承提供一些传播层面的参考与借鉴。当下,非遗新媒体传播研究虽取得相关成绩,但是其研究仍需进一步深化,特别是在理论与实践的结合、跨学科视角的推进、传播效果的经验分析以及国际传播等方面。

Comparative eye-tracking evaluation of scatterplots and parallel coordinates

We investigate task performance and reading characteristics for scatterplots(Cartesian coordinates)and parallel *** a controlled eye-tracking study,we asked 24 participants to assess the relative distance of points in multidimensional space,depending on the diagram type(parallel coordinates or a horizontal collection of scatterplots),the number of data dimensions(2,4,6,or 8),and the relative distance between points(15%,20%,or 25%).For a given reference point and two target points,we instructed participants to choose the target point that was closer to the reference point in multidimensional *** present a visual scanning model that describes different strategies to solve this retrieval task for both diagram types,and propose corresponding hypotheses that we test using task completion time,accuracy,and gaze positions as dependent *** results show that scatterplots outperform parallel coordinates significantly in 2 dimensions,however,the task was solved more quickly and more accurately with parallel coordinates in 8 *** eye-tracking data further shows significant differences between Cartesian and parallel coordinates,as well as between different numbers of *** parallel coordinates,there is a clear trend toward shorter fixations and longer saccades with increasing number of *** an area-of-interest(AoI)based approach,we identify different reading strategies for each diagram type:For parallel coordinates,the participants’gaze frequently jumped back and forth between pairs of axes,while axes were rarely focused on when viewing Cartesian *** further found that participants’attention is biased:toward the center of the whole plot for parallel coordinates and skewed to the center/left side for Cartesian *** anticipate that these results may support the design of more effective visualizations for multidimensional data.

Novel visualization methods and strategies are necessary to cope with the deluge of datasets present in any scientific field to make discoveries and find answers to previously unanswered *** methods and strategies should not only present scientific findings as images in a concise way but also need to be effective and expressive,which often remain ***,we present Versus,a tool to enable easy image quality assessment and image ranking,utilizing a two-alternative forced choice methodology(2AFC)and an efficient ranking algorithm based on a binary *** tool provides a systematic way of setting up evaluation experiments via the web without the necessity to install any additional software or require any programming ***,Versus can easily interface with crowdsourcing platforms,such as Amazon’s Mechanical Turk,or can be used as a stand-alone system to carry out evaluations with *** demonstrate the use of Versus by means of an image evaluation study,aiming to determine if hue,saturation,brightness,and texture are good indicators of uncertainty in three-dimensional protein *** from the power of crowdsourcing,we argue that there is demand and also great potential for this tool to become a standard for simple and fast image evaluations,with the aim to test the effectiveness and expressiveness of scientific visualizations.

There has been increasing interest over recent years in the application of three-dimensional(3 D) printing technologies in the biomedical field. one such method is Direct Ink Writing(DIW); this approach has the potential advantage of allowing room-temperature deposition of materials, presented as an ink, to build complex architectures. DIW offers the ability to process biomaterials containing temperature-sensitive components. Due to the fabrication principles of DIW, there are specific rheological requirements that the ink must exhibit for the 3 D construction. For this reason, hydrogel-based liquid feed stocks have been the focal point of ink development. As a consequence, studies based on inks comprising hydrophobic biomaterials, which are insoluble in water and hence unsuited to the hydrogel approach, have been *** this study, we investigate novel inks that utilize polycaprolactone(PCL), a hydrophobic polymer, as the primary constituent by dissolving the polymer in solvent systems based on dichloromethane(DCM) and acetone(ACE). Moreover, polyethylene oxide(PEo) was incorporated into the PCL systems in order to extend the range of hydrophilicity of the systems. The rheological properties of the inks were investigated as a function of polymer composition and solvent system. Woodpile constructs of PCL and PCL/PEo were fabricated using DIW method and were assessed by a series of material characterisation. The type of solvent system had a noticeable impact on the ink rheology, which ultimately affected the surface properties. The incorporation of PEo particularly enhanced the roughness and wettability of the constructs. our results support the use of DIW as a new means to process hydrophobic polymers for biomedical applications.

osteogenesis imperfecta（oI） comprises a group of heritable connective tissue disorders generally defined by recurrent fractures, low bone mass, short stature and skeletal fragility. Beyond the skeletal complications of oI,many patients also report intolerance to physical activity, fatigue and muscle weakness. Indeed, recent studies have demonstrated that skeletal muscle is also negatively affected by oI, both directly and indirectly. Given the well-established interdependence of bone and skeletal muscle in both physiology and pathophysiology and the observations of skeletal muscle pathology in patients with oI, we investigated the therapeutic potential of simultaneous anabolic targeting of both bone and skeletal muscle using a soluble activin receptor 2B（ACVR2B） in a mouse model of type Ⅲ oI（oim）. Treatment of 12-week-old oim mice with ACVR2 B for 4 weeks resulted in significant increases in both bone and muscle that were similar to those observed in healthy,wild-type littermates. This proof of concept study provides encouraging evidence for a holistic approach to treating the deleterious consequences of oI in the musculoskeletal system.

Monodisperse particles are useful across a wide range of industrial applications,such as LCD displays,solar cells and rechargeable batteries,due to their uniformly small ***,generating high volumes of monodisperse particles remains *** this study,it was aimed to generate mono-disperse aerosols by classifying micrometer-scale solid aerosol particles within a narrow size ***,a new particle-size classification device with two virtual impactors connected in series and clean air cores was *** first-stage virtual impactor had a slightly larger cutoff size than the second-stage,and the major flow discharged from the first-stage was directed to the *** target particle size range was altered by changing the nozzle sizes in the first and second stages or by adjusting the flow ***,the classification performance of the two-stage virtual impactor was simulated and validated through an experiment using Arizona test *** implemented combi-nations of cutoff sizes for the first and second stages were 3.0 and 2.0μm,3.9 and 2.7μm,or 6.7 and 4.8μ*** a result,monodisperse aerosol particles were classified at a geometric standard deviation of 1.04-1.14 and a particle size range of 2-6.7μ*** two-stage virtual impactor developed herein may be useful for various research and performance evaluations,as it can classify micrometer-scale solid particle aerosols that exhibit high monodispersity.

Gastrointestinal(GI)symptoms,such as diarrhea,abdominal pain,vomiting,and anorexia,are frequently observed in patients with coronavirus disease 2019(CoVID-19).However,the pathophysiological mechanisms connecting these GI symptoms to severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)infections remain *** studies indicate that the entry of SARS-CoV-2 into intestinal cells leads to downregulation of angiotensin converting enzyme 2(ACE2)receptors resulting in impaired barrier *** intestinal ACE2 functions as a chaperone for the amino acid transporter B0AT1,the B0AT1/ACE2 complex within the intestinal epithelium acts as a regulator of gut microbiota composition and *** to the B0AT1/ACE2 complex lead to microbial dysbiosis through increased local and systemic immune *** studies have also suggested that altered serotonin metabolism may be the underlying cause of GI disorders involving *** findings of elevated plasma serotonin levels and high fecal calprotectin in CoVID-19 patients with diarrhea indicate that the viral infection evokes a systemic inflammatory response that specifically involves the ***,the elevated proinflammatory cytokines correlate with elevated serotonin and fecal calprotectin levels further supporting the evidence of GI inflammation,a hallmark of functional GI ***,the finding that rectal swabs of CoVID-19 patients remain positive for SARS-CoV-2 even after the nasopharynx clears the virus,suggests that viral replication and shedding from the GI tract may be more robust than that of the respiratory tract,further indicating fecal-oral transmission as another important route of viral *** review summarized the evidence for pathophysiological mechanisms(impaired barrier function,gut inflammation,altered serotonin metabolism and gut microbiota dysbiosis)underlying the GI symptoms in patients with CoVID-19.
