Development and characterization of 3D-printed electroconductive pHEMA-co-MAA NP-laden hydrogels for tissue engineering

Tissue engineering(TE)continues to be widely explored as a potential solution to meet critical clinical needs for diseased tissue replacement and tissue *** this study,we developed a poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate-co-methacrylic acid)(pHEMA-co-MAA)based hydrogel loaded with newly synthesized conductive poly(3,4-ethylene-dioxythiophene)(PEDOT)and polypyrrole(PPy)nanoparticles(NPs),and subsequently processed these hydrogels into tissue engineered constructs via three-dimensional(3D)*** presence of the NPs was critical as they altered the rheological properties during ***,all samples exhibited suitable shear thinning properties,allowing for the development of an optimized processing window for 3D *** were 3D printed into pre-determined disk-shaped configurations of 2 and 10 mm in height and diameter,*** observed that the NPs disrupted the gel crosslinking efficiencies,leading to shorter degradation times and compressive mechanical properties ranging between 450 and 550 *** conductivity of the printed hydrogels increased along with the NP concentration to(5.10±0.37)×10^(−7)S/*** vitro studies with cortical astrocyte cell cultures demonstrated that exposure to the pHEMA-co-MAA NP hydrogels yielded high cellular viability and proliferation ***,hydrogel antimicrobial studies with staphylococcus epidermidis bacteria revealed that the developed hydrogels affected bacterial *** together,these materials show promise for various TE strategies.

Lax-Oleinik-Type Formulas and Efficient Algorithms for Certain High-Dimensional Optimal Control Problems

Two of the main challenges in optimal control are solving problems with state-dependent running costs and developing efficient numerical solvers that are computationally tractable in high *** this paper,we provide analytical solutions to certain optimal control problems whose running cost depends on the state variable and with constraints on the *** also provide Lax-Oleinik-type representation formulas for the corresponding Hamilton-jacobi partial differential equations with state-dependent ***,we present an efficient,grid-free numerical solver based on our representation formulas,which is shown to scale linearly with the state dimension,and thus,to overcome the curse of *** existing optimization methods and the min-plus technique,we extend our numerical solvers to address more general classes of convex and nonconvex initial *** demonstrate the capabilities of our numerical solvers using implementations on a central processing unit(CPU)and a field-programmable gate array(FPGA).In several cases,our FPGA implementation obtains over a 10 times speedup compared to the CPU,which demonstrates the promising performance boosts FPGAs can *** numerical results show that our solvers have the potential to serve as a building block for solving broader classes of high-dimensional optimal control problems in real-time.

Combining PlanetScope and Sentinel-2 images with environmental data for improved wheat yield estimation

Satellite images are widely used for crop yield estimation,but their coarse spatial resolution means that they often fail to provide detailed information at thefield ***,a new generation of high-resolution satellites and CubeSat platforms has been *** this study,satellite data sources including PlanetScope and Sentinel-2 were combined with topographic and climatic variables,and the improvement in wheat yield estimation was *** yield data from a combine harvester were used to train and validate a yield estimation model based on random forest *** vegetation indices(NDVI,GNDVI,MSAVI2,MTVI2,MTCI,reNDVI,SAVI,EVI and WDVI)and spectral bands were *** the model training,the Sentinel-2 data realized a slightly higher estimation accuracy than the PlanetScope ***,combining environmental data with the PlanetScope data realized the highest estimation *** the validated models,adding the topographic and climatic datasets to the satellite data sources improved the estimation accuracy,and the results were slightly better with the Sentinel-2 data than with the PlanetScope *** data of the milk and dough stages provided the highest estimation accuracy of the wheat yield at 210–225 days after sowing.

目的:探讨氨基质子转移(APT)成像联合DCE-Mri对成人型弥漫性胶质瘤病理分级和IDH基因型的术前预测价值。方法:将2020年10月-2023年10月在本院诊治且经病理证实的78例脑胶质瘤患者纳入本研究。患者手术前均进行APT成像和DCE-Mri检查。依据肿瘤的组织病理学分级将患者分为2组:低级别组(Ⅱ~Ⅲ级)36例,高级别组(Ⅳ级)42例;依据患者IDH基因表达情况将患者分为2组:IDH野生型组31例,IDH突变型组47例。比较高、低病理分级组及不同IDH分型组之间病灶的APT图像信号等级(分为1~5级)和DCE-Mri参数(K_(trans)、V_(e)、rCBV、V_(p)、K_(ep)和rCBF)值的差异,对组间差异有统计学意义的指标,采用ROC曲线分析其诊断效能。结果:IDH突变型和野生型组之间年龄、性别、主诉、神经系统体征差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05);高级别组和低级别组之间年龄、性别、主诉、神经系统体征差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05),但是高级别组中IDH野生型占比更高(Pri参数的组间比较结果显示,高级别组与低级别组之间,以及IDH突变型与IDH野生型之间,K_(trans)、V_(e)和rCBV值的差异均有统计学意义(Pri定量参数能在术前较准确地预测成人型弥漫性胶质瘤的病理分级和IDH基因分型。

目的探讨癃清胶囊联合会阴三联针刺治疗湿热型慢性盆腔疼痛综合征的疗效。方法回顾性分析120例湿热型慢性盆腔疼痛综合征患者的临床资料,根据治疗方案的差异分为药物组(A组)、针刺组(B组)和药物+针刺治疗组(C组),每组40例。A组给予口服癃清胶囊治疗,B组采用会阴三联针刺治疗,C组予以癃清胶囊联合会阴三联针刺治疗。比较三组美国国立卫生研究院慢性前列腺炎症状评分表(NIH-CPSI)积分、中医证候积分、临床疗效、不良反应发生情况。结果A组、B组、C组临床总有效率分别为87.5%、85.0%、90.0%,组间比较无差异(P>0.05)。治疗前,三组NIH-CPSI症状影响、疼痛症状、尿路症状、生活质量积分与总积分及中医证候积分比较无差异(P>0.05)。治疗2周后,C组NIH-CPSI症状影响、疼痛症状、尿路症状、生活质量积分与总积分及中医证候积分分别为(1.76±0.21)、(9.27±2.09)、(5.15±0.05)、(4.44±0.72)、(20.62±4.25)、(18.35±4.23)分,B组分别为(2.07±0.62)、(13.29±2.25)、(5.29±0.02)、(4.75±0.65)、(25.40±3.20)、(26.35±5.10)分,A组分别为(1.96±0.56)、(13.27±2.24)、(5.27±0.03)、(4.85±0.25)、(25.35±3.22)、(26.37±5.09)分。治疗4周后,C组NIH-CPSI症状影响、疼痛症状、尿路症状、生活质量积分与总积分及中医证候积分分别为(1.02±0.20)、(5.13±1.10)、(3.30±0.24)、(3.28±0.06)、(12.73±2.22)、(12.20±2.08)分,B组分别为(1.48±0.42)、(6.25±0.25)、(4.31±0.27)、(3.60±0.06)、(15.64±2.12)、(13.23±2.00)分,A组分别为(1.52±0.25)、(6.23±0.15)、(4.55±0.95)、(3.56±0.04)、(15.86±2.09)、(13.22±2.13)分。治疗2、4周后,三组NIH-CPSI症状影响、疼痛症状、尿路症状、生活质量积分与总积分及中医证候积分均低于治疗前,且C组低于A组与B组,差异有统计学意义(P0.05)。结论湿热型慢性盆腔疼痛综合征采用癃清胶囊联合会阴三联针刺治疗是一种安全有效、起效快的治疗方法,可对其进行更加深入、全面的研究。

Control of synthetic gene networks and its applications

Background： One of the underlying assumptions of synthetic biology is that biological processes can be engineered in a controllable way. Results： Here we discuss this assumption as it relates to synthetic gene regulatory networks （GRNs）. We first cover the theoretical basis of GRN control, then address three major areas in which control has been leveraged： engineering and analysis of network stability, temporal dynamics, and spatial aspects. Conclusion： These areas lay a strong foundation for further expansion of control in synthetic GRNs and pave the way for future work synthesizing these disparate concepts.

We study the electron states and the differential cross section for an electron Raman scattering process in a semi- conductor quantum well wire of cylindrical ring geometry. The electron Raman scattering developed here can be used to provide direct information about the electron band structures of these confinement systems. We assume that the system grows in a GaAs/Al0.35Ga0.65As matrix. The system is modeled by considering T = 0 K and also a single parabolic con- duction band, which is split into a sub-band system due to the confinement. The emission spectra are discussed for different scattering configurations, and the selection rules for the processes are also studied. Singularities in the spectra are found and interpreted.

Effect of fluorinated additives or co-solvent on performances of graphite//LiMn2O4 cells cycled at high potential

Herein,a comprehensive study of electrochemical performances of the combined effect of fluorinated additives;fluoroethylene carbonate(FEC);and tris(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl) phosphite(TTFP) or the 2,2,2-trifluoroethyl methyl carbonate(TFEMC) as co-solvent,on Graphite//LiMn2O4 cells cycled at high potential is *** one side,each additive has a specific function,the FEC is dedicated to the negative electrode and the TTFP to the opposite *** electrolyte mixture with(4% FEC+1% TTFP) additive has shown the best ability to reduce fading of the LiMn2O4 electrode,especially at high *** the other side,by studying the comparative thermal and transport properties of the formulated electrolytes with different proportions of TFEMC,we demonstrate that the difference in charge distribution of EMC and TFEMC molecules induced by the presence of fluorine atoms,modifies the solvation model of the Li+cation,and changes its behavior at the CEI interface and impact strongly the electrochemical ***,the EIS investigation of the LMO/electrolyte interfaces in the presence of TFEMC demonstrates that despite a spontaneous chemical reactivity of the TFEMC at the cathode interface over time,the conductive and good quality CEI is formed,which positively impact the *** study shows that against LMO surface phenomena,the combination in adequate proportions of fluorinated additives or solvent can be a solution not only to avoid the oxidative reactivity of LMO-cathode,but also to prevent its harmful consequences on the Li-metal or graphite-anode by controlling the solvation of lithium-ion.

Optimized nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computation based on Förster resonance in Rydberg atoms

In this paper,we propose a scheme for implementing the nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computation(NHQC+)of two Rydberg atoms by using invariant-based reverse engineering(IBRE).The scheme is based on Förster resonance induced by strong dipole-dipole interaction between two Rydberg atoms,which provides a selective coupling mechanism to simply the dynamics of ***,for improving the fidelity of the scheme,the optimal control method is introduced to enhance the gate robustness against systematic *** simulations show the scheme is robust against the random noise in control fields,the deviation of dipole-dipole interaction,the Förster defect,and the spontaneous emission of ***,the scheme may provide some useful perspectives for the realization of quantum computation with Rydberg atoms.
