AIM: To asses the relationship between severity of gastroesophageal refluxe disease and Epworth sleepiness scale as an indicator of daytime somnolence. METHODs: One hundred and thirty-four patients underwent an upper panendoscopy as indicated by the typical reflux symptoms and were also investigated with regard to somnolence. sleepiness was evaluated by Epworth sleepiness scale, which was compared to the severity of endoscopic findings (savary-Miller/modified by siewert). Patients with psychiatric disorders or being on sedato-hypnotics as well as shift workers were excluded from the study. The relationship between the severity of the reflux disease and daytime somnolence was analyzed with the help of multivariate regression analysis. REsULTs: A positive tendency was found between the severity of the reflux disease and the corresponding Epworth sleepiness scale. In the case of the more severe type-savary-Miller Ⅲ- at least a mild hypersomnia was found. For this group daytime somnolence was significantly higher than in the case of the non-erosive type of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease representing the mildest stage of reflux disease. CONCLUsION: The severity of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease influences daytime somnolence.

Aims soil moisture content(sMC)influences establishment,survival and development of plant species and is considered as the most important limiting factor in tropical dry forest(TDF).In this study we attempt to establish the relationship between leaf attributes and of tree saplings in TDF and address the following questions:(i)how are the functional attributes of dominant tree saplings of TDF affected by seasonal changes in sMC at different habitats?,(ii)what is the relationship of functional attributes with each other?,(iii)how are the functional attributes and their plasticity affected by habitat con-ditions?and(iv)can the functional attributes in single or in com-bination predict the growth rate of tree saplings of TDF?The study was conducted on four sites(Hathinala,Gaighat,Harnakachar and Ranitali,listed in order of decreasing sMC)within the tropical dry deciduous forest in northern *** We analysed eight leaf attributes,specific leaf area(sLA);leaf dry matter content(LDMC);leaf nitrogen concentration(leaf N);leaf phosphorus concentration(leaf P);chlorophyll concentration(Chl);mass-based photosynthetic rate(Amass);mass-based stomatal con-ductance(Gsmass);intrinsic water use efficiency(WUEi)and three growth attributes,relative diameter increment(rdi);relative height increment(RHI);relative growth rate(RGR)of the 10 dominant tree saplings(viz.,Acacia catechu,Anogeissus latifolia,Boswellia serrata,Buchanania lanzan,Diospyros melanoxylon,Hardwickia binata,Lagerstroemia parviflora,Lannea coromandelica,shorea robusta and Terminalia tomentosa)of a TDF and observed the effects of site,season and species for a period of 2 *** were selected in gradients of ***-wise multiple regression was performed to predict rdi,RHI and RGR from mean values of sMC and leaf *** Findings All the 11 attributes were interrelated and differed significantly among the 10 *** response varied across sites and *** the sMC g

The aim of this study was to assess whether tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α), transforming growth factor β1(TGF-β1) and interleukin-10 (IL-10) polymorph isms are among the factors influencing the development of pemphigus. Whole blood from 20 patients with pemphigus and 24 control subjects was taken. Genomic DNA was obtained and cytokine genotyping for IL-10 (-1082G/A;-819C/T),TGFB1(codon 10C/T,codon25G/C)and TNFA (-308 G/A) was performed using the ARMs-PCR method. The distribution of IL-10 (-819) alleles was significantly different between t he pemphigus and control groups (P= 0.009). In particular, allele T was associat ed with the disease (OR 3.291, 95%CI 1.350-8.020). similar results were observ ed when only pemphigus vulgaris (PV) patients were analyzed (P= 0.012, OR 3.410, 95%CI 1.346-8.639). An increased frequency of the low producer IL-10 haploty pe (-1082/-819 A/T) in patients with pemphigus compared with controls was obse rved (OR 2.714, 95%CI 1.102-6.685) and this association was also significant w hen only PV patients were considered (OR 2.667, 95%CI 1.043-6.816). There were no differences between patients and controls in the frequency of any other gene polymorphism analyzed. The increased frequency of the low producer IL-10 haplo type (-1082 /-819 A/T) suggest that the carriage of this haplotype might predi spose to pemphigus or the high and intermediate producer haplotypes may be prote ctive factors. The prevalence of the allele IL-10 (-819 T) in pemphigus patien ts cannot be explained by the current hypothesis, according to which a particula r allele of the gene is associated with a different level of cytokine production and therefore affects the predisposition to a particular disease. However, this cytokine polymorphism might be linked to an unknown susceptibility factor.

在破“五唯”的背景下,科学研究的创新性测度尤为重要,创新性较高的论文往往会对既有研究领域的学科范式产生颠覆性影响,甚至开创新的范式。颠覆性指数是近几年被提出的可以直接测度论文颠覆性创新程度的计量指标,基于网络中论文节点的深层引用关系,在一定程度上破除了单一维度评价的缺点,引起了文献计量学、信息科学和网络科学等多领域学者的广泛关注。本文对颠覆性指数的最新研究进行了总结和拓展,深入剖析了指标局限性及因素,并提出了新的计量指标——相对颠覆性指数(relative disruptive index,rdi),它在颠覆性指数的基础上,涵盖了引文网络的深层引用比例,在一定程度上解决了颠覆性指数分布不均匀、评价不一致的问题,能够对科学研究的颠覆性创新程度进行更为精确和客观的衡量。实证结果表明,颠覆性指数的参数量级不一致,相对颠覆性指数可以更有效地衡量科学研究的创新性,且相比于原始颠覆性指数以及Bornmann等学者提出的修正颠覆性指数(DI5)具有更佳的评价一致性,巩固性论文的相对颠覆性指数较低,创新性论文的相对颠覆性指数较高。

好些年来,于齐诺尔—敦刻尔克3号烧结机(400米~2)的技术可靠性和操作指标业已大大改善了。从1972年到1981年,这个厂的产量从年产300万吨稳步增加到了500万吨。为达到这个目的,他们从事了以下几项艰巨的工作: 1) 维修体制改进(停产时间从6～7%降到了3～3.5%) 2) 添加生石灰(直到1970年几乎为1%),增加了产量。3) 布料后,由于采用松料器,提高了料层的透气性。4) 与法国钢铁研究所合作,研制和提出了良好的冶金方法和参数。尽管提高了产量,但从1972～1979年直至1981年,每吨烧结矿仍节能165百万焦耳,同时烧结矿冷强度获得改善。1982年和1983年初,主要通过提高料层高度(从35～45厘米提高到50～55厘米)来研究的新课题不是产率而是其经济效率。从节能的观点来看,取得了以下重大成果:在相同碱度的情况下,与1979～1981年相比较,每吨烧结矿节能225百万焦耳。最后,到1983年三月,其碱度从1.6增加到1.75时,其热耗也同时降低40百万焦耳/吨。与1973年～1979年这段时间相比,总的热耗至少降低了约450百万焦耳/吨烧结矿。在这一时期,虽然热耗下降了,但烧结矿的质量却获得了改善(冷强度变好,rdi指数和RI指数也得到改善)。为了获得这些成果,在烧结机上曾经做了许多基础研究和工业试验:混合料的结构、混合料在烧结机上的偏析和操作技术参数(最佳水分、机速、料层调度、返矿比等与烧结矿质量和产率的关系)等的研究。在该厂,要取得一些技术进步仍然是可能的,特别是采用冶金的措施。为此目的,目前正在实现过程自动化。实际上,自动控制功能只部分用于操作上。其中包括用IRsID(?)模型估算烧结终点,而其他则有待采用别的过程控制模型来完善。过程自动化将能改善工厂的操作参数,对于应用于研究和技术进步方面也是极有意义的手段。
