Semitransparent organic solar cells with high light utilization efficiency and color rendering index

Semitransparent organic solar cells(ST-OSCs)have garnered considerable attention as promising renewable energy technology for integrating photovoltaics into ***,there is a trade-off between power conversion efficiency(PCE)and average visible transmittance(AVT),which hinders the achievement of a high light utilization efficiency(LUE).In this study,we propose a valuable method to address this challenge by replacing the transparent top electrode,Ag,with a 20 nm layer of *** ST-OSCs based on the 20 nm Au electrode demonstrate superior exciton extraction,more efficient charge collection,and higher color-rendering index(CRI)due to their smoother surface,higher conductivity,and enhanced visible light transmittance,resulting in a significantly higher PCE of 13.67%and an enhanced AVT of 30.17%,contributing to a high LUE of 4.15%.Additionally,optically transparent dielectric layers,applied on the front and back sides of the ST-OSCs to further boost performance,delivered an impressive LUE of 4.93%,with PCE and AVT values reaching 14.44%and 34.12%,***,the champion ST-OSCs also exhibited a favorable CRI value of *** achievements represent the bestperforming ST-OSCs to date with both high LUE and CRI and hold significant implications for the prospective commercialization of ST-OSCs.

The crosstalk between clathrin-mediated endocytosis(CME)and the autophagy pathway has been reported in mammals;however,the interconnection of CME with autophagy has not been established in ***,we report that the Arabidopsis CLATHRIN LIGHT CHAIN(CLC)subunit 2 and 3 double mutant,clc2-1 clc3-1,phenocopies Arabidopsis AUTOPHAGY-RELATED GENE(ATG)mutants in both autoimmunity and nutrient ***,the autophagy pathway is significantly compromised in the clc2-1 clc3-1 ***,multiple assays demonstrate that CLC2 directly interacts with ATG8h/ATG8i in a domain-specific *** expected,both GFP-ATG8h/GFP-ATG8i and CLC2-GFP are subjected to autophagic degradation,and degradation of GFP-ATG8h is significantly reduced in the clc2-1 clc3-1 ***,simultaneous knockout of ATG8h and ATG8i by CRISPR-Cas9 results in enhanced resistance against Golovinomyces cichoracearum,supporting the functional relevance of the CLC2-ATG8h/8i *** conclusion,our results reveal a link between the function of CLCs and the autophagy pathway in Arabidopsis.

Growth kinetics of titanium carbide coating by molten salt synthesis process on graphite sheet surface

The synthesis of carbide coatings on graphite substrates using molten salt synthesis(MSS),has garnered significant interest due to its cost-effective *** study investigates the reaction process and growth kinetics involved in MSS,shedding light on key aspects of the *** involvement of Ti powder through liquid-phase mass transfer is revealed,where the diffusion distance and quantity of Ti powder play a crucial role in determining the reaction rate by influencing the C content gradient on both sides of the ***,the growth kinetics of the carbide coating are predominantly governed by the diffusion behavior of C within the carbide layer,rather than the chemical reaction *** analyze the kinetics,the thickness of the carbide layer is measured with respect to heat treatment time and temperature,unveiling a parabolic relationship within the temperature range of 700-1300℃.The estimated activation energy for the reaction is determined to be 179283 j·mol^(-1).These findings offer valuable insights into the synthesis of carbide coatings via MSS,facilitating their optimization and enhancing our understanding of their growth mechanisms and properties for various applications.

Long-lived lunar volcanism sustained by precession-driven core-mantle friction

Core-mantle friction induced by the precession of the Moon's spin axis is a strong heat source in the deep lunar mantle during the early phase of a satellite's evolution, but its influence on the long-term thermal evolution still remains poorly explored. Using a one-dimensional thermal evolution model, we show that core-mantle friction can sustain global-scale partial melting in the upper lunar mantle until ～3.1 Ga, thus accounting for the intense volcanic activity on the Moon before ～3.0 Ga. Besides, core-mantle friction tends to suppress the secular cooling of the lunar core and is unlikely to be an energy source for the long-lived lunar core dynamo. Our model also favours the transition of the Cassini state before the end of the lunar magma ocean phase(～4.2 Ga), which implies a decreasing lunar obliquity over time after the solidification of the lunar magma ocean. Such a trend of lunar obliquity evolution may allow volcanically released water to be buried in the lunar regolith of the polar regions. As a consequence, local water ice could be more abundant than previously thought when considering only its accumulation caused by solar wind and comet spreading.

Superhydrophobic coatings with high non-wetting properties are widely applied in anti-icing ***,the micro-nanostructures on the surfaces of superhydrophobic coatings are fragile under external forces,resulting in reduced ***,mechanical strength and durability play a crucial role in the utilization of superhydrophobic *** this study,we employed a two-step spraying method to fabricate superhydrophobic FEVE-based coatings with exceptional mechanical durability,utilizing fluorinated TiO_(2)nanoparticles and fluorinated Al_(2)O_(3)microwhiskers as the *** composite coating exhibited commendable non-wetting properties,displaying a contact angle of 164.84°and a sliding angle of 4.3°.On this basis,the stability of coatings was significantly improved due to the interlocking effect of Al_(2)O_(3)*** 500 tape peeling cycles,500 sandpaper abrasion tests,and 50 kg falling sand impact tests,the coatings retained superhydrophobicity,exhibiting excellent durability and application ***,the ice adhesion strength on the coatings was measured at only 65.4 kPa,while the icing delay time reached 271.8 s at-15℃.In addition,throughout 500 freezing/melting cycles,statistical analysis revealed that the superhydrophobic coatings exhibited a freezing initiation temperature as low as-17.25℃.

Many aphid species exhibit both cyclical parthenogenesis(CP)and the obligate parthenogenesis(OP)life history,which are genetically *** CP aphid lineages,the parthenogenetic individuals can switch from asexual to sexual reproduction quickly in response to environmental factors such as changes in photoperiod and ***,the OP aphid lineages do not undergo sexual reproduction under any *** far,mechanisms underlying the reproduction switch in CP aphids have not been fully *** padi,a serious worldwide insect pest of wheat,has both CP and OP *** diphosphate-glycosyltransferases(UGTs)are enzymes that participate in the metabolic detoxification of ***,we identified 43 RpUGT genes from *** genome and transcriptome sequences,and found that:(1)the UGT content of the CP lineage was significantly higher than that in the OP lineage at the key time points when CP lineage mainly produce virginoparae,gynoparae,and males under inducing condition,while there were no significant difference under normal conditions;(2)RpUGT344j7 gene was highly expressed during the time points when CP lineages produce gynopara and males;(3)the critical time points for CP lineages to produce virginoparaee,gynoparae,and males were affected when the CP lineages were injected with dsRpUGT344j7;(4)the knockdown of RpUGT344j7 caused a significant reduction in the total number of virginoparae,gynoparae,and males in the offspring under inducing *** findings contribute to our understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying the quick shift from asexual to sexual reproduction in aphid species.

Gas source of the Middle jurassic Shaximiao Formation in the Zhongjiang large gas field of Western Sichuan Depression:Constraints from geochemical characteristics of light hydrocarbons

The Zhongjiang gas field is a typical large gas field in terrigenous strata of the Western Sichuan *** remains debatable which member of the Upper Triassic Xujiahe Formation served as the source rocks and how significant the member contributed to the gas accumulations in the Zhongjiang gas *** this study,we analyzed the essential characteristics of the Lower jurassic source rocks and the geochemical features of light hydrocarbons in natural gas from the 2nd(T_(3)χ^(2))and 4th members(T_(3)χ^(4))of the Upper Triassic Xujiahe Formation(T_(3)χ),as well as the Middle jurassic Shaximiao(j_(2)s)and Qianfoya(j_(2)q)*** on this,we explored the sources of the natural gas in the Zhongjiang gas field and determined the natural gas migration patterns and their effects on the properties of light hydrocarbons in the natural *** results indicate that the Lower jurassic lacustrine source rocks of the Zhongjiang gas field contain humic organic matter,with vitrinite reflectance(R_(0))values ranging from 0.86%to 0.98%.Samples meeting the criterion for effective source rocks[total organic carbon(TOC)content≥0.75%]exhibited an average TOC content of merely 1.02%,suggesting significantly lower hydrocarbon generation potential than source rocks in the underlying T3x,which show higher thermal maturity and TOC *** natural gas samples from T_(3)χ^(2),T_(3)χ^(4),j_(2)s,and j_(2)q reservoirs,their C_(5-7)iso-alkane content was significantly higher than their n-alkane content,and their methylcyclohexane(MCH)index ranged from 59.0%to 77.3%,indicating the predominance of methylcyclohexane in C_(7)light *** indicated by the origin identification and gas-source correlation based on the geochemical features of light hydrocarbons,the natural gas in the Zhongjiang gas field is typical coal-derived *** gas from the primary pay zone of the Shaximiao Formation,with significantly high K_(1),(P_(2)+N_(2))/C_(7),and P_(3)/C_(7)values,predominantly ori
