Fish in nature exhibit a variety of swimming modes such as forward swimming,backward swimming,turning,pitching,etc.,enabling them to swim in complex scenes such as coral *** is still difficult for a robotic fish to swim autonomously in a confined area as a real ***,we develop an untethered robotic manta as an experimental platform,which consists of two flexible pectoral fins and a tail fin,with three infrared sensors installed on the front,left,and right sides of the head to sense the surrounding *** generate multiple swimming modes of the robotic manta and online switching of different modes,we design a closed-loop Central Pattern Generator(CPG)controller based on distance information and use a combination of phase difference and amplitude of the CPG model to achieve stable and rapid adjustment of yaw *** verify the autonomous swimming ability of the robotic manta in complex scenes,we design an experimental scenario with a concave *** experimental results show that the robotic manta can achieve forward swimming,backward swimming,in situ turning within the concave obstacle,and finally exit from the area safely while relying on the perception of external obstacles,which can provide insight into the autonomous exploration of complex scenes by the biomimetic robotic ***,the swimming ability of the robotic manta is verified by field tests.

In perovskite EuTiO_(3),the magnetic characteristics and magnetocaloric effect(MCE) can be flexibly regulated by converting the magnetism from antiferromagnetic to *** the present work,a series of Eu(Ti,Nb,Mn)O_(3) compounds,abbreviated as ETNMO for convenience of description,was fabricated and their crystallography,magnetism together with cryogenic magnetocaloric effects were systematically *** crystallographic results demonstrate the cubic perovskite structure for all the compounds,with the space group of *** magnetic phase transitions are observed in these second-order phase transition(SOPT) *** joint substitution of elements Mn and Nb can considerably manipulate the magnetic phase transition process and magnetocaloric performance of the ETNMO *** the Mn content increases,gradually widened-ΔS_(M)-T curves are obtained,and two peaks with a broad shoulder are observed in the-ΔS_(M)-T curves for Δμ_(0)H≤0-1 *** a field change of 0-5 T,the values of maximum magnetic entropy change(-ΔS_(M)^(max)) and refrigeration capacity(RC) are evaluated to be 34.7 j/(kg·K) and 364.9 j/kg for EuTi_(0.8625)Nb_(0.0625)Mn_(0.075)O_(3), 27.8 j/(kg·K) and367.6 j/kg for EuTi_(0.8375)Nb_(0.0625)Mn_(0.1)O_(3),23.2 j/(kg·K) and 369.2 j/kg for EuTi_(0.8125)Nb_(0.0625)Mn_(0.125)O_(3),17.1 j/(kg·K) and 357.6 j/kg for EuTi_(0.7875)Nb_(0.0625)Mn_(0.15)O_(3),*** co nsiderable MCE parameters make the ETNMO compounds potential candidates for cryogenic magnetic refrigeration.

The PdPtVO_(x)/CeO_(2)-ZrO_(2)(PdPtVO_(x)/CZO)catalysts were obtained by using different approaches,and their physical and chemical properties were determined by various *** activities of these materials in the presence of H_(2)O or SO_(2)were evaluated for the oxidation of ethylbenzene(EB).The PdPtVO_(x)/CZO sample exhibited high catalytic activity,good hydrothermal stability,and reversible sulfur dioxide-poisoning performance,over which the specific reaction rate at 160℃,turnover frequency at 160℃(TOF_(Pd or Pt)),and apparent activation energy were 72.6 mmol/(g_(Pt)·sec)or 124.2 mmol/(g_(Pd)·sec),14.2 sec^(-1)(TOF_(Pt))or 13.1 sec^(-1)(TOF_(Pd)),and 58 k j/mol,*** large EB adsorption capacity,good reducibility,and strong acidity contributed to the good catalytic performance of PdPtVO_(x)/*** activity of PdPtVO_(x)/CZO decreased when 50 ppm SO_(2)or(1.0 vol.%H_(2)O+50 ppm SO_(2))was added to the feedstock,but was gradually restored to its initial level after the SO_(2)was cut *** good reversible sulfur dioxide-resistant performance of PdPtVO_(x)/CZO was associated with the facts:(i)the introduction of SO_(2)leads to an increase in surface acidity;(ii)V can adsorb and activate SO_(2),thus accelerating formation of the SO_(x)^(2-)(x=3 or 4)species at the V and CZO sites,weakening the adsorption of sulfur species at the PdPt active sites,and hence protecting the PdPt active sites to be not poisoned by SO_(2).EB oxidation over PdPtVO_(x)/CZO might take place via the route of EB→styrene→phenyl methyl ketone→benzaldehyde→benzoic acid→maleic anhydride→CO_(2)and H_(2)O.

A radiation-hardened phase-locked loop is proposed for phase interpolator clock and data recovery purposes. A sensitive node-compressed charge pump and multi-node cross coupling voltage-controlled oscillators are proposed in this phase-locked loop with the goal of achieving good jitter performance and improving anti-SET（SET,single-event transient） capability. The root mean square（RMS） jitter of the phase-locked loop is reduced from 3.7 ps to 2.58 ps at 2 GHz, while the laser threshold is improved from 120 p j to 370 p j compared to the unhardened phaselocked loop. The hardened phase-locked loop also does not lose its lock state from linear energy transfers（LETs） of 3.3 to 37.3 Me V·cm2/mg.

The field of terahertz devices is important in terahertz ***,most of the current devices have limited functionality and poor *** improve device performance and achieve multifunctionality,we designed a terahertz device based on a combination of VO_(2)and *** device can be tuned using the phase-transition characteristics of VO_(2),which is included in the triple-layer structure of the device,along with SiO_(2)and *** terahertz device exhibits various advantageous features,including broadband coverage,high absorption capability,dynamic tunability,simple structural design,polarization insensitivity,and incidentangle *** simulation results showed that by controlling the temperature,the terahertz device achieved a thermal modulation range of spectral absorption from 0 to *** 313 K,the device exhibited complete reflection of terahertz *** the temperature increased,the absorption rate also *** the temperature reached 353 K,the device absorption rate exceeded 97.7%in the range of 5-8.55 *** study used the effective medium theory to elucidate the correlation between conductivity and temperature during the phase transition of VO_(2).Simultaneously,the variation in device performance was further elucidated by analyzing and depicting the intensity distribution of the electric field on the device surface at different ***,the impact of various structural parameters on device performance was examined,offering valuable insights and suggestions for selecting suitable parameter values in real-world *** characteristics render the device highly promising for applications in stealth technology,energy harvesting,modulation,and other related fields,thus showcasing its significant potential.

In this study,we assign the tetraquark state for the Y(4230) resonance and investigate the mass and decay constant of Y(4230) in the framework of SVZ sum rules through a different calculation ***,we calculate the strong coupling gYj/ψf0 by considering soft-meson approximation techniques within the framework of light cone sum rules,and we use the strong coupling gYj/ψf0 to obtain the width of the decay Y(4230)→j/ψf0(980).Our prediction for the mass agrees with the experimental measurement,and that for the decay width of Y(4230)→j/ψf0(980) is within the upper limit.

Polymer dielectrics with a high energy density and an available energy storage capacity have been playing an important role in advanced electronics and power systems. Nevertheless, the use of polymer dielectrics in harsh environments is limited by their low energy density at high temperatures. Herein, zirconium dioxide(ZrO_(2)) nanoparticles were decorated with amino group utilizing 4,4-methylenebis(phenyl isocyanate)(AMEO) and successfully incorporated into polyetherimide(PEI) matrix. The dielectric properties, breakdown strength, and energy storage performances of PEI/ZrO_(2)-AMEO nanocomposites were investigated from 25 ℃ to 150 ℃. It is found that the combination of moderate bandgap ZrO_(2) with modest dielectric constant and polar groups at interface with deep trap can offer an available strategy to simultaneously increase the dielectric constant and breakdown strength of polymer dielectrics. As a result, the composites containing ZrO_(2)-AMEO exhibit excellent energy storage performance at elevated temperatures. Specially, the PEI-based composites with 3 vol% ZrO_(2)-AMEO display a maximum discharged energy density(U_(d)) of 3.1 j/cm^(3) at 150 ℃, presenting 90% higher than that of neat PEI. This study may help to better develop the polymer-based dielectric composite applied at elevated temperatures.

BACKGROUND The glycemic control of children with type 1 diabetes(T1D)may be influenced by the economic status of their *** To investigate the association between parental economic status and blood glucose levels of children with T1D using a mobile health *** Data from children with T1D in China's largest T1D online community,Tang-TangQuan■.Blood glucose levels were uploaded every three months and parental economic status was evaluated based on annual household *** were divided into three groups:Low-income(100000 yuan)(1 Yuan=0.145 United States Dollar approximately).Blood glucose levels were compared among the groups and associations were explored using Spearman’s correlation analysis and multivariable logistic *** From September 2015 to August 2022,1406 eligible children with T1D were included(779 female,55.4%).Median age was 8.1 years(Q1-Q3:4.6-11.6)and duration of T1D was 0.06 years(0.02-0.44).Participants were divided into three groups:Low-income(n=320),middle-income(n=724),and high-income(n=362).Baseline hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c)levels were comparable among the three groups(P=0.072).However,at month 36,the low-income group had the highest HbA1c levels(P=0.036).Within three years after registration,glucose levels increased significantly in the low-income group but not in the middle-income and high-income *** economic status was negatively correlated with pre-dinner glucose(r=-0.272,P=0.012).After adjustment for confounders,parental economic status remained a significant factor related to pre-dinner glucose levels(odds ratio=13.02,95%CI:1.99 to 126.05,P=0.002).CONCLUSION The blood glucose levels of children with T1D were negatively associated with parental economic *** is suggested that parental economic status should be taken into consideration in the management of T1D for children.
