Facing the new era of construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics, it is critical for the northeastern region of China to hold this new chance for its overall *** foundation and key of this revitalization lie in finding out problems in the urban development and then putting forward feasible *** paper studies 34 prefecture-level cities in northeast China, and uses the coordination index to analyze the relationship between land and population, economy, and investment, of different types of cities in the region from 2000 – 2014, in order to discover problems in its urban development and provide planning *** shows that in northeast China, the imbalance between urban land expansion and population is significant, the imbalance between urban land use and either economic development or capital investment is periodical, for which the primary reasons include strong centralization effect of center cities, limited input on land resources, and weak industrial ***, the paper proposes planning strategies in terms of vitalizing stock land, enriching land use functions, and coordinating industrial resources, with an expectation of providing both the theoretical foundation for the economic revival in the northeastern region and a guidance on practice of revitalization strategies in all cities of the region.

Appropriate interaction between pantograph and catenary is imperative for smooth operation of electric *** heights of overhead lines to accommodate level crossings,overbridges,and tunnels pose significant challenges in maintaining consistent current collection performance as the pantograph aerodynamic profile,and thus aerodynamic load changes significantly with operational *** research aims to analyse the global flow characteristics and aerodynamic forces acting on individual components of an HSX pantograph operating in different configurations and orientations,such that the results can be combined with multibody simulations to obtain accurate dynamic insight into contact ***,computational fluid dynamics simulations are used to investigate the pantograph component loads in a representative setting,such as that of the recessed cavity on a Class 800 *** an aerodynamic perspective,this study indicates that the total drag force acting on non-fixed components of the pantograph is larger for the knuckle-leading orientation rather than the knuckle-trailing,although the difference between the two is found to reduce with increasing pantograph *** the aerodynamic loads acting on individual components with multibody tools allows for realistic dynamic insight into the pantograph *** results obtained show how considering aerodynamic forces enhance the realism of the models,leading to behaviour of the pantograph-catenary contact forces closely matching that seen in experimental tests.

monodisperse cobalt nanoparticles with relatively high coercivities were synthesized by thermal decomposition of cobalt acetate for the application of ultra-high density magnetic recording media. Without using any reducing agent, Co nanoparticles of 13.9-21.3 nm in size were prepared using various protecting agents and a high boiling point solvent trioctylamine. The Co nanoparticles prepared with the mixture of oleic acid, oleylamine, and polyvinylpyrrolidone （PVP） showed clear crystalline structure of face centered cubic, and their coercivity was measured to be 27.2 kA/m. PVP was effective in controlling particle growth while hindering agglomeration between the particles. The as-prepared Co nanoparticles with a moderate coercivity can be applicable to patterned media.

Epigenome-wide association studies(EWAS)are susceptible to widespread confounding caused by population structure and genetic ***,kinship estimation is challenging in EWAS without genotyping ***,we proposed methylGenotyper,a method that for the first time enables accurate genotyping at thousands of single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)directly from commercial DNA methylation *** modeled the intensities of methylation probes near SNPs with a mixture of three beta distributions corresponding to different genotypes and estimated parameters with an expectation-maximization *** conducted extensive simulations to demonstrate the performance of the *** applying methylGenotyper to the Infinium EPIC array data of 4662 Chinese samples,we obtained genotypes at 4319 SNPs with a concordance rate of 98.26%,enabling the identification of 255 pairs of close ***,we showed that methylGenotyper allows for the estimation of both population structure and cryptic relatedness among 702 Australians of diverse *** also implemented methylGenotyper in a publicly available R package(https://***/Yi-jiang/methylGenotyper)to facilitate future large-scale EWAS.

The moisture instability and toxicity of lead have hindered the development of lead organometal halide perovskites(Pb-OHPs).Similar to Pb-OHPs,OHPs based on Pb-free elements,including Group VA metals Bi and Sb(denoted as m),exhibit optoelectronic properties due to their isoelectronic configuration and close chemistry of the lone-pair ns^(2) ***,m-OHPs are mostly based on hydrophilic protonated organic countercations and possess low structural dimensionalities,which affect the moisture stability and disrupt continuous carrier transport,***,we demonstrate a“double-free”strategy to realize the rational synthesis of moisture-stable hypotoxic hybrid perovskites.A hydrogen-bond-free alkylated countercation was assembled with Pb-free OHP bearing an extended structure in one *** a proof of concept,two double-free m-OHPs are synthesized,which show greatly improved moisture and photostability compared to their corresponding hydrogen-bond OHPs and the extensively studied mA_(3)m_(2)X_(9)(mA=CH_(3)NH_(3)^(+)).The photoconduction behaviors of both double-free OHPs display short rise and decay recovery time and exhibit excellent photocurrent ***,(1-methyl-4-phenylpyridin-1-ium)BiI_(4)(me4ppi-BiI_(4))displays a comparable switching on/off ratio with mA_(3)Bi_(2)I_(9),and can endure 75% relative humidity(RH)for at least 243 *** photophysical property measurements and theoretical calculations show that this remarkable photoconversion performance results from the relatively low exciton binding energy and greatly improved carrier mobility and concentration.

The anelastic deformation behavior of Pd_(20)Pt_(20)Cu_(20)Ni_(20)P_(20) high-entropy metallic glass was probed by monitoring the stress relaxation and recovery processes. The stress relaxation under consecutive strain steps can be described by the Kohlrausch-Williams-Watts(KWW) function. In addition, considering a hierarchy of relaxation processes related to the structural heterogeneity, a constitutive model is proposed in order to describe the whole process of stress relaxation and determine the contribution of different time scales. moreover, a crossover from stochastic activation to percolation of flow defects with the ultimate strain can be observed during stress relaxation process. The anelastic recovery process after a strain step is studied as a function of the initial strain level and characterized by means of a direct spectrum analysis. The peaks in the recovery time-spectra revealed the evolution of flow defects in Pd_(20)Pt_(20)Cu_(20)Ni_(20)P_(20) high-entropy metallic glass. The understanding of the atomic free-volume zones effect and the anelastic deformation provides important insight into how atomic structural features affect the deformation behavior of high-entropy metallic glasses, and may provide a new avenue into the improvement of their mechanical properties.

The effects of electroplating conditions on the composition of N-W-SiC composite coating were studied; the znfiuence of heat-treatment and nitrocarburization on the microstructure, hardness and wear resistance of the coating were discussed. The results showed that an amorphous composite coating, containing(wt%) 50-55Ni, *** and 3.0-7.6SiC, could be electroplated on the matrix. Afier heat-treatment or nitrocarburization the coating crystallized to form some new phases, and the haordness and wear resistance of the composite coating were enhanced retmarkably.
