A 30-day incoherent scatter radar(ISR) experiment was conducted at millstone Hill(288.5°E,42.6°N) from 4 October to 4 November *** altitude profiles of electron density N,ion and electron temperature(T and T),and line-of-sight velocity during this experiment were processed to deduce the topside plasma scale height H,vertical scale height VSH,Chapman scale height H,ion velocity, and the relative altitude gradient of plasma temperature (dT/dh)/T,as well as the F layer electron density (NF) and height(hF).These data are analyzed to explore the variations of the ionosphere over millstone Hill under geomagnetically quiet and disturbed *** show that ionospheric parameters generally follow their median behavior under geomagnetically quiet conditions,while the main feature of the scale heights,as well as other parameters, deviated significantly from their median behaviors under disturbed *** enhanced variability of ionospheric scale heights during the storm-times suggests that the geomagnetic activity has a major impact on the behavior of ionospheric scale heights,as well as the shape of the topside electron density *** millstone Hill,the diurnal behaviors of the median VSH and H are very similar to each other and are not so tightly correlated with that of the plasma scale height H or the plasma *** present study confirms the sensitivity of the ionospheric scale heights over millstone Hill to thermal structure and *** values of VSH/H tend to decrease as {dT/dh)/T becomes larger or the dynamic processes become enhanced.

In this work, ZnO, Ce3+ doped ZnO (ZnO/Ce3+) and Cu2+ + Ce3+ co-doped ZnO (ZnO/Cu2+ + Ce3+ ) solid solutions powders were synthesized by a solution combustion method maintaining the Ce3+ ion concentration constant in 3%Wt while the Cu2+ ion concentration was varied in 1, 2, 3, 10 and 20%Wt. After its synthesis, all the samples were annealed at 900?C by 24 h. The ZnO, ZnO/Ce3+ and ZnO/Cu2+ + Ce3+ powders were structurally characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique, and the XRD patterns showed that for pure ZnO, Cu2+ undoped ZnO/Ce3+ and ZnO/Ce3+ doped with the Cu2+ ion, the three samples exhibited the hexagonal wurtzite ZnO crystalline structure. However, the morphology and particle size of both samples were observed by means of a scanning electron microscopy (SEm);from SEm image, it is observed that the crystallites of both samples are agglomerated forming bigger amorphous particles with an approximate average size of 1 μm. In addition, the photoluminescence of the ZnO, Ce3+ doped ZnO and Cu2+ + Ce3+ doped ZnO samples was measurement under an illumination of 209 nm wavelength (UV region): for the ZnO/Ce3+ sample, your emission spectrum is in the visible region from blue color until red color;the UV band of the ZnO is suppressed. The multicolor emission visible is attributed to the Ce3+ ion photoluminescence, while for the ZnO/Cu2+ + Ce3+, its emission PL spectrum is quenching by the Cu2+ ion, present in the ZnO crystalline.

Abstract We study affine jacobi structures （brackets） on an affine bundle π ： A → m, i.e. jacobi brackets that close on affine functions. We prove that if the rank of A is non-zero, there is a one-toone correspondence between affine jacobi structures on A and Lie algebroid structures on the vector bundle A^＋ = ∪p∈m Aff（Ap, R） of affine functionals. In the case rank A = 0, it is shown that there is a one-to-one correspondence between affine jacobi structures on A and local Lie algebras on A^＋. Some examples and applications, also for the linear case, are discussed. For a special type of affine jacobi structures which are canonically exhibited （strongly-affine or affine-homogeneous jacobi structures） over a real vector space of finite dimension, we describe the leaves of its characteristic foliation as the orbits of an affine representation. These affine jacobi structures can be viewed as an analog of the Kostant-Arnold-Liouville linear Poisson structure on the dual space of a real finite-dimensional Lie algebra.

Eugenia j.m.olana Lam., commonly known as black plum or “j.m.n” is an important medicinal plant in various traditional systems of medicine. It is effective in the treatment of diabetes mellitus, inflammation, ulcers and diarrhea and preclinical studies have also shown it to possess chemopreventive, radioprotective and antineoplastic properties. The plant is rich in compounds containing anthocyanins, glucoside, ellagic acid, isoquercetin, kaemferol and myrecetin. The seeds are claimed to contain alkaloid, j.m.osine, and glycoside j.m.olin or antimellin, which halts the diastatic conversion of starch into sugar. The present review has been primed to describe the existing data on the information on traditional and medicinal use.

A Z-pinch dynamic hohlraum can create the high-temperature radiation field required by indirect-drive inertial confinement fusion.A dynamic hohlraum with peak radiation temperature over 300 eV can be obtained with a>50 mA Z-pinch driver according to the scaling law of dynamic hohlraum radiation temperature vs drive *** on a uniform 300 eV radiation temperature profile with a width of 10 ns,three double-shell capsules with radii of 2,2.5,and 3 mm are proposed,and the corresponding fusion yields from a one-dimensional calculation are 28.8,56.1,and 101.6 *** implosion dynamics of the 2.5 mm-radius capsule is investigated in *** ignition,the areal density of the fuel is about 0.53 g/cm^(2),the fuel pressure is about 80 Gbar,and the central ion temperature is about 4.5 keV,according to the one-dimensional simulation.A two-dimensional simulation indicates that the double-shell capsule can implode nearly spherically when driven by the radiation field of a Z-pinch dynamic *** sensitivities of the fusion performance to the radiation temperature profiles and to deviations in the capsule parameter are investigated through one-dimensional simulation,and it is found that the capsule fusion yields are rather stable in a quite large parameter space.A one-dimensional simulation of a capsule embedded in 50 mg/cm^(3)CH foam indicates that the capsule performance does not change greatly in the mimicked environment of a Z-pinch dynamic *** double-shell capsules designed here are also applicable to laser indirect-drive inertial fusion,if a laser facility can produce a uniform 300 eV radiation field and sustain it for about 10 ns.

Waxy apple cuticles predominantly accumulate ursane-type triterpenes,but the profile shifts with the induction of skin russeting towards lupane-type *** previously characterised several key enzymes in the ursane-type and lupane-type triterpene pathways,but this switch in triterpene metabolism associated with loss of cuticle integrity is not fully *** analyse the relationship between triterpene biosynthesis and russeting,we used microscopy,RNA-sequencing and metabolite profiling during apple fruit *** compared the skin of three genetically-close clones of‘Golden Delicious’(with waxy,partially russeted and fully russeted skin).We identified a unique molecular profile for the russet clone,including low transcript abundance of multiple cuticle-specific metabolic pathways in the early stages of fruit *** correlation analyses between gene transcription and metabolite concentration we found mYB transcription factors strongly associated with lupane-type triterpene *** showed how their transcription changed with the onset of cuticle cracking followed by russeting and that one factor,mYB66,was able to bind the promoter of the oxidosqualene cyclase OSC5,to drive the production of lupeol *** results provide insights into the breakdown of cuticle integrity leading to russet and how this drives mYB-regulated changes to triterpene biosynthesis.

A methodology has been developed to generate a non-uniform/distoited inlet flow field to test a gas turbine engine in ground test *** distorted flow field is generated by positioning radial and circumferential strips of varying widths upstream of the Aerodynamic Interface *** interacting wakes from these strips are used to generate a given target flow *** approximate superposition of these wakes is investigated and used to construct the strip arrangement which is subsequently validated by computing the flow field by solving the Navier-Stokes *** strip geometry designed using the present methodology is able to produce the target mach number distribution with a root-mean-square error of 5.06%.
