Thermo-kinetic characteristics on stabilizing hetero-phase interface of metal matrix composites by crystal plasticity finite element method

Using dislocation-based constitutive modeling in three-dimension crystal plasticity finite element(3D CPFE)simulations,co-deformation and instability of hetero-phase interface in different material systems were herein studied for polycrystalline metal matrix composites(MMCs).Local stress and strain fields in two types of 3layer MMCs such as fcc/fcc Cu-Ag and fcc/bcc Cu-Nb have been predicted under simple compressive ***,more severe strain-induced interface instability can be observed in the fcc/bcc systems than in the fcc/fcc systems upon refining to metallic nanolayered composites(MNCs).By detailed analysis of stress and strain localization,it has been demonstrated that the interface instability is always accompanied by high-stress concentration,i.e.,thermodynamic characteristics,or high strain prevention i.e.,kinetic characteristics,at the hetero-phase *** then follows that the thermodynamic driving forceG and the kinetic energy barrier Q during dislocation and shear banding can be adopted to classify the deformation modes,following the so-called thermo-kinetic *** by inserting a high density of high-energy interfaces into the Cu-Nb composites,such thermo-kinetic integration at the hetero-phase interface allows a successful establishment of MMCs with the high△G-high Q deformation mode,which ensures high hardening and uniform strain distri-bution,thus efficiently suppressing the shear band,stabilizing the hetero-phase interface,and obtaining an exceptional combination in strength and *** hetero-phase interface chosen by a couple of thermodynamics and kinetics can be defined as breaking the thermo-kinetic correlation and has been proposed for artificially designing MNCs.

Objective:This study explores the mechanism of action of Danhongqing formula(DhQ),a compoundbased Chinese medicine formula,in the treatment of cholestatic liver ***:In vivo experiments were conducted using 8-week-old multidrug resistance protein 2 knockout(Mdr2-/-)mice as an animal model of cholestatic liver *** was administered orally for 8 weeks,and its impact on cholestatic liver fibrosis was evaluated by assessing liver function,liver histopathology,and the expression of liver fibrosis-related ***-time polymerase chain reaction,Western blot,immunohistochemistry and other methods were used to observe the effects of DhQ on long non-coding RNA h19(h19)and signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3)phosphorylation in the liver tissue of Mdr2-/-*** addition,cholangiocytes and hepatic stellate cells(hSCs)were cultured in vitro to measure the effects of bile acids on cholangiocyte injury and h19 *** overexpressing h19 were constructed,and a conditioned medium containing h19 was collected to measure its effects on STAT3 protein expression and cell *** intervention effect of DhQ on these processes was also *** overexpressing h19 were constructed to measure the impact of h19 on cell activation and assess the intervention effect of ***:DhQ alleviated liver injury,ductular reaction,and fibrosis in Mdr2-/-mice,and inhibited h19expression,STAT3 expression and STAT3 *** formula also reduced hydrophobic bile acid-induced cholangiocyte injury and the upregulation of h19,inhibited the activation of hSCs induced by cholangiocyte-derived conditioned medium,and decreased the expression of activation markers in *** overexpression of h19 in a human hSC line confirmed that h19 promoted STAT3 phosphorylation and hSC activation,and DhQ was able to successfully inhibit these ***:DhQ effectively alleviated spontaneous cholestatic liver fibrosis in Md

Convexification of hybrid AC-DC Optimal Power Flow with Line-Commutated Converters

Line-commutated converter (LCC)-based high-voltage DC (hVDC) systems have been integrated with bulk AC power grids for interregional transmission of renewable power. The nonlinear LCC model brings additional nonconvexity to optimal power flow (OPF) of hybrid AC-DC power grids. A convexification method for the LCC station model could address such nonconvexity but has rarely been discussed. We devise an equivalent reformulation for classical LCC station models that facilitates second-order cone convex relaxation for the OPF of LCC-based AC-DC power grids. We also propose sufficient conditions for exactness of convex relaxation with its proof. Equivalence of the proposed LCC station models and properties, exactness, and effectiveness of convex relaxation are verified using four numerical simulations. Simulation results demonstrate a globally optimal solution of the original OPF can be efficiently obtained from relaxed model.

Mg-based amorphous alloys are one of the potential hydrogen storage materials but suffer from sluggish dehydrogenation/hydrogenation(de/hydrogenation)*** this work,as a new strategy,a hydrogen pump is built on the surface of amorphous alloys to solve this *** milling crystalline YFe_(2-x)Al_(x) hydrogen storage alloy with Mg_(60)La_(10)Ni_(20)Cu_(10) amorphous alloy,fine crystalline particles were seeded on amorphous alloy powder to form a“strawberry”*** to the TEM observation,a metallurgical bonding boundary formed between the Mg-based amorphous matrix and the Y-Fe-Al crystalline *** microstructure and de/hydrogenation kinetics investigation,the“hydrogen pump”effect of the seeded crystalline alloy was confirmed,which makes it much easier for the hydrogen to dissociate on and diffuse through the surface of the Mg-based amorphous *** such effect,the h absorption rate of Mg_(60)La_(10)Ni_(20)Cu_(10) amorphous alloy became almost eight times faster and it absorbs ~2.8 wt.% in 1 h at 130℃ under 4.5 MPa-h_(2).Further,fast hydrogenation can even achieve at 70℃ and the low-temperature dehydrogenation kinetics of the amorphous hydride can be also greatly *** present work proves that surface modification is of great importance for obtaining Mg-based amorphous alloy with ideal hydrogen storage performance.

采用离散元法(DEM)从宏细观角度研究了有砟轨道道砟嵌入对路基土变形特性的影响;基于三维结构光扫描系统对道砟颗粒外形进行重构,实现道砟颗粒的精细化建模;基于DEM软件PFC3D V6.0建立高度为600 mm、直径为300 mm的道砟嵌入试样与纯土试样三轴计算模型;通过有限差分法(FDM)与DEM耦合,实现三轴围压柔性加载,分别对2种试样进行三轴试验模拟;对比分析了道砟嵌入试样与纯土试样的模拟结果,明确道砟嵌入对路基土变形特性的影响。研究结果表明:围压为30 kPa时,道砟嵌入试样峰值强度为257 kPa,纯土试样峰值强度为199 kPa,相比于纯土试样,道砟嵌入会使土体承受荷载的能力降低;剪切结束时纯土试样体应变为-3.24%,道砟嵌入试样为-14.59%,道砟嵌入试样剪胀效应更为明显;纯土试样与道砟嵌入试样侧向变形机理不同,纯土试样中部产生鼓胀变形是因为其中部区域不受约束,颗粒可自由运动,道砟嵌入试样土样表层发生侧向鼓胀是因为道砟-土界面处发生的道砟嵌入对表层土颗粒向两侧挤压的排挤作用;2种试样土颗粒配位数变化趋势一致,均表现出随轴向应变先增加、后减小、最后趋于平缓的趋势,但纯土试样土颗粒配位数明显高于道砟嵌入试样;纯土试样力链沿轴向发展且分布均匀,道砟嵌入试样会在道砟-土接触界面出现明显接触力集中。

Open-Shell Oligomers and Polymers: Theory, Characterization Methods, Molecular Design, and Applications

Open-shell oligomers and polymers have exhibited intriguing electronic and magnetic properties, making them highly desirable for a wide range of applications, including ambipolar organic field-effect transistors (OFETs), photodetectors, organic thermoelectrics, and spintronics. Although open-shell ground states have been observed in certain small molecules and doped organic semiconductors, the exploration of open-shell ground-state conjugated polymers is still limited, and the strategies for designing these polymers remain obscure. This review aims to briefly introduce the theory and characterization methods of open-shell conjugated polymers, along with an overview of recent progress and applications. The objective is to stimulate further advancements and investigations in this promising area by shedding light on the potential of open-shell conjugated polymers and the challenges that lie ahead.
