Constructing a stable cobalt-nitrogen-carbon air cathode from coordinatively unsaturated zeolitic-imidazole framew.rks for rechargeable zinc-air batteries

Zeolitic-imidazole framew.rks(ZIFs)derivations have w.dely emerged as an efficient air cathode of zinc-air batteries(ZABs)due to excellent bifunctional oxygen electrocatalysis ***,they are not stable enough for long-term operation of rechargeable ZABs because of w.ak association w.th current collector,especially under bending conditions for flexible ZAB ***,w. show.that by purposely designing coordinatively unsaturated ZIFs via a facile morphology regulation,w.ich can be chemically linked on acid-treated carbon cloth,a stable Co-N-C air cathode is therefore derived w.ere Co nanoparticles(NPs)are uniformly confined w.thin the Co-N-C matrix on carbon cloth(Co/Co-N-C/CC).Specifically,w.en w.thout being stabilized from carbon cloth,the pyrolysis of ZIFs w.th different unsaturated coordination levels has a negligible impact on the bifunctional oxygen-catalyzed *** optimal Co/Co-N-C/CC catalyst assembled ZAB possesses a large open circuit voltage of 1.415 V and a high peak pow.r density of 163 mw.cm^(−2) as w.ll as excellent cycling durability upon 630 discharge–charge cycles w.th 61%voltage efficiency remained,largely exceeding those of a benchmark Pt/C-IrO_(2) catalyst assembled *** synergy betw.en Co NPs and active Co-N-C sites via electronic interaction induces the outstanding bifunctional oxygen-catalyzed activity and cathode *** present w.rk highlights the importance of unsaturated coordination structures in ZIFs precursors for the performance of derived nanostructures in integrated electrodes.

A fabrication process allow.ng for the production of periodically poled lithium niobate(PPLN)photonic devices w.th any domain pattern and unit size dow. to 200 nm is developed by combining semiconductor fabrication techniques and piezo-force-microscopy tips *** on this fabrication process,PPLN microdisk resonators w.th quality factors of 8×10~4 w.re fabricated from a Z-cut lithium niobate ***-harmonic generation(SHG)utilizing d(33)in the w.ole cavity w.s demonstrated in a PPLN microdisk w.th a 2μm-spatialperiod radial domain *** SHG conversion efficiency w.s measured to be 1.44×10^(-5)m w.(-1).This w.rk paves the w.y to fabricate complex PPLN photonic devices and to obtain efficient nonlinear optical effects that have w.de applications in both classical and quantum optics.

Neural activity extraction and neural decoding from neural signals are an important part of critical components of brain-computer interface *** the development of brain-computer interface technology,the demand for precise external control and nervous activities in macaque monkey during unilateral hand grasp has increased the complexity of control and neural decoding,w.ich puts forw.rd higher requirements for the accuracy and stability of feature extraction and neural *** this study,a micro Capsnet netw.rk architecture that consists of a few.netw.rk layers,a vector feature structure,and optimization netw.rk parameters,is proposed to decrease the computing time and complexity,decrease artificial debugging,and improve the decoding *** w.th KNN,SVM,XGBOOST,CNN,Simple RNN,and LSTM,the algorithm in this study improves the decoding accuracy by 98.03%,and achieves state-of-the-art accuracy and stronger ***,the proposed algorithm can further enhance the control accuracy in the brain-computer interface.

Teacher autonomy is one of the most significant and problematic concepts to have emerged from the field of teacher education in recent years. It has generally been referred to as teachers＇ control over their ow. teaching Teachers＇ autonomous learning is also one of the most effective w.ys to support teachers in their classroom practice, as w.ll as to improve and expand their professional preparation and practices. Research on teacher autonomy in the field of second language education has had a short history and many terms related to language teacher autonomy are still under discussion. The paper mainly discusses the rationale of teacher autonomy and its related topics in the literature in recent years, and then presents the authors＇ ow. view. about the research on teacher autonomy of university English teachers in China.

Magnetic Characterization of Amphibolites from the Fomopéa Pluton(w.st Cameroon):Their Implication in the Pan-African Deformation of the Central African Fold Belt

The Fomopea granitic pluton is emplaced in gnessic and amphibolitic basement. These gneissic and amphibolitic basement rocks are represented in the pluton＇s body as sub-rounded, elongated or stretched xenoliths. Amphibolitic xenoliths display testimonies of tw. main tectonic events namely：（i） El flattening deformation event characterized by a Nw.SE to E-w.foliation w.th a best pole at 246/57 and a mineral stretched lineation w.th a best line at 293/47; and （ii） E2 compressive event typified by （1） N-S to NNE-SSw.steeply dipping foliation; （2） S-type flexion-fold indicating a sinistral shear movement. These amphibolite rocks indicate a magnetic susceptibility magnitude （Km） range from 418 ~SI to 90092 IISI for 87% of the stations show.ng a ferromagnetic behavior. K-T curves reveal the presence of Ti-poor magnetite as susceptibility mineral carrier. Magnetic foliation and lineation suggest that the N-S strike direction observed in the Bamendou amphibolite is, as pointed out elsew.ere in the Central African Fold Belt, of paramount importance in the tectonic evaluation of the Fomopea area, since it has most likely acted as major deformation phase in the second tectonic event in the belt.

Tw.n crystal structured Al-10 w..% Mg alloys that w.re grow. over a broad solidification velocity range w.re prepared and studied for the first *** high thermal gradient(G)and grow.h velocity(V)of directional solidification resulted in the dominant solidification of tw.ns:the tw.nned dendrite trunks at constant high Vs curved in the G direction w.th large angles in 7 mm diameter crucibles and invaded regular columnar grains because of a distinct kinetics grow.h *** deceleration experiments w.re designed to produce tw.n crystals that evolved w.th low.r values of V(100,10,and 0.5μm/s)and had a structural coarsening *** cell grow.h in the absence of arms occurred at a grow.h velocity of 10μm/s.A coherency loss w.s observed at a grow.h velocity of 0.5μm/s w.th straight coherent tw.n boundaries turning into curved incoherent *** theoretical analyses w.re performed to understand the structural evolution of the *** results demonstrate the possibility of producing dense and controlled tw.n crystals in the Al-Mg system under most industrial production conditions;thus,this approach can be a new.structural choice for designing Al-Mg-based alloys that have w.despread commercial applications.

In Tempore Belli： Reflections on the Sense of the Universal in George Crumb＇s Music of the Vietnam w.r

This paper proposes new.w.ys to understand the sense of universality in music through a reflection and analysis of George Crumb＇s Black angels （Images 1）： Thirteen lmages from the Dark Land, one of the defining musical expressions of the Vietnam w.r era. It centers on an analysis of the relationship of the body/self to an ＂ecology of w.r＂ produced through Crumb＇s music that renders these selves indistinct w.thin this musical geography. The selves that inhabit Black angels could be that of anybody in particular since Crumb seeks to invoke in his music the primeval experience of terror that inhabits in all of us as the inheritors of mankind＇s violence. This sense of the universal militates against the desirable qualities of popular music that rely on the production of autonomous and singular selves that make the distinction betw.en enemy and friend possible and distinct. w. focus on Crumb＇s use of archaisms, his construction of time in this piece, and the author＇s overall purpose to invoke a time of w.r rather than to reflect the conditions of w.r, in order to delineate the contours of the universal time and space producing the undifferentiated primeval self of w.r. w. conclude that although Crumb＇s rejection of the national self deprives the piece of a salient place in the popular cannon of the w.r, it has left an intellectual legacy on the times of the Vietnam w.r that deserves to be preserved.

Drought fluctuations based on dendrochronology since 1786 for the Lenglongling Mountains at the northw.stern fringe of the East Asian summer monsoon region

The Lenglongling Mountains （LLM） located in northeastern part of the Tibet Plateau, belong to a marginal area of the East Asian summer monsoon （EASM） and are sensitive to monsoon dynamics. Tw. tree-ring w.dth chronologies developed from six sites of Picea crassifolia in the LLM w.re employed to study the regional drought variability. Correlation and temporal correlation analyses show.d that relationships betw.en the tw. chronologies and self-calibrated Palmer Drought Severity Index （sc_PDSI） w.re significant and stable across time, demonstrating the strength of sc_PDSI in modeling drought conditions in this region. Based on the relationships, the mean sc_PDSI w.s reconstructed for the period from 1786 to 2013. Dry conditions prevailed during 1817-1819, 1829-1831, 1928-1931 and 1999-2001. Relatively w.t periods w.re identified for 1792-1795 and 1954-1956. Spatial correlations w.th other fourteen precipitation/drought reconstructed series in previous studies revealed that in arid regions of Northw.st China, long-term variability of moisture conditions w.s synchronous before the 1950s at a decadal scale （1791-1954）. In northw.stern margin of the EASM, most of all selected reconstructions had better consistency in low.frequency variation, especially during dry periods, indicating similar regional moisture variations and analogous modes of climate forcing on tree grow.h in the region.

Selective enhancement of green upconversion luminescence of Er-Yb:NaYF4 by surface plasmon resonance of w.8O49 nanoflow.rs and applications in temperature sensing

The w.18）O（49） nanoflow.rs w.th a diameter of 500 nm are prepared by a facile hydrothermal method. The Er-Yb：NaYF4 nanoparticles are adsorbed on the petals（the position of the strongest local electric field on w.18）O（49） nanoflow.rs）.w.th a 976 nm laser diode（LD） as an excitation source, the selectively green upconversion luminescence（UCL） is observed to be enhanced by tw. orders of magnitude in Er-Yb： NaYF4/w.18）O（49） nanoflow.rs heterostructures. It suggests that the near infrared（NIR）-excited localized surface plasmon resonance（LSPR） of w.18）O（49） is primarily responsible for the enhanced UCL, w.ich could be partly reabsorbed by the w.18）O（49）, thus leading to the selective enhancement of green UCL for the Er-Yb： NaYF4. The fluorescence intensity ratio is investigated as a function of temperature based on the intense green UCL, w.ich indicates that Er-Yb： NaYF4/w.18）O（49） nanoflow.r heterostructures have good potential for developing into temperature sensors.

Tw.n boundaries(TBs)in transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs)constitute distinctive one dimensional electronic systems,exhibiting intriguing physical and chemical properties that have garnered significant attention in the fields of quantum physics and ***,the controlled manipula-tion of TBs in terms of density and specific atomic configurations remains a fomidable *** this study,w. present a non-epitaxial grow.h approach that enables the controlled and large scale fabrication of homoge-neous catalytically active TBs in monolayer TMDs on arbitrary ***,the density achieved using this strategy is six times higher than that observed in convention chemical vapor deposition(CVD)-grow. *** rigorous experimental analysis and multigrain w.lff construc tion simulations,w. elucidate theroleof regulating themetal source diffusion process,w.ich serves as the key factor for inducing the self-oriented grow.h ofTMD grains and the formation of unified ***,w. demonstrate that this novel grow.h mode can be readily incorporated into the conventional CVD grow.h method by making a simple modification of the grow.h tempera-ture profle,thereby offering a universal approach for engineering of grain boundaries in tw.-dimensional materials.
