An externally generated resonant magnetic perturbation can induce complex non-ideal MHD responses in their resonant *** have studied the plasma responses using Fitzpatrick's improved two-fluid model and program *** calculated the error field penetration threshold for *** addition,we find that the island width increases slightly as the error field amplitude increases when the error field amplitude is below the critical penetration ***,the island width suddenly jumps to a large value because the shielding effect of the plasma against the error field disappears after the *** scanning the natural mode frequency,we find that the shielding effect of the plasma decreases as the natural mode frequency ***,we obtain the m/n=2/1 penetration threshold scaling on density and temperature.

Enzyme-induced carbonate precipitation(EICP)is an emanating,eco-friendly and potentially sound tech.ique that has presented promise in various geotech.ical ***,the durability and microscopic ch.racteristics of EICP-treated specimens against the impact of drying-wetting(D-W)cycles is under-explored *** study investigates the evolution of mech.nical behavior and pore ch.rac-teristics of EICP-treated sea sand subjected to D-W *** uniaxial compressive strength(UCS)tests,synch.otron radiation micro-computed tomography(micro-CT),and three-dimensional(3D)recon-struction of CT images were performed to study the multiscale evolution ch.racteristics of EICP-reinforced sea sand under the effect of D-W *** potential correlations between microstructure ch.racteristics and macro-mech.nical property deterioration were investigated using gray relational analysis(GRA).Results showed that the UCS of EICP-treated specimens decreases by 63.7% after 15 D-W *** proportion of mesopores gradually decreases whereas the proportion of macropores in-creases due to the exfoliated calcium carbonate with increasing number of D-W *** micro-structure in EICP-reinforced sea sand was gradually disintegrated,resulting in increasing pore size and development of pore shape from ellipsoidal to columnar and *** gray relational degree suggested that the weight loss rate and UCS deterioration were attributed to the development of branch.d pores with a size of 100-1000 m m under the action of D-W ***,the results in this study provide a useful guidancee for the long-term stability and evolution ch.racteristics of EICP-reinforced sea sand under D-W weathering conditions.

Iron-metal clusters are crucial in a variety of critical biological and material systems,including metalloenzymes,catalysts,and magnetic storage ***,a synthetic high-nuclear iron cluster has been absent due to the extreme difficulty in stabilizing species with direct iron-iron *** this work,we have synthesized,crystallized,and ch.racterized a（Tp*）4W4S12(Fe@Fe12) cluster(Tp*=tris（3,5-dimethyl-1-pyrazolyl）borate（1-）),which.features a rare trideca-nuclear,icosahedral[Fe@Fe12] cluster core with direct multicenter iron-iron bonding between the interstitial iron（Fei） and peripheral irons（Fep）,as well as Fep…Fepferromagnetic *** ch.mistry studies reveal that the stability of the cluster arises from the 18-electron shell-closing of the [Fe@Fe12]16+core,assisted by its bonding interactions with the peripheral tridentate [（Tp*）WS3]4-ligands which.possess both S→Fe donation and spin-polarized Fe-Wσ *** ground-state electron spin is theoretically predicted to be S=32/2 for the *** existence of low oxidation-state（OS～+1.23） iron in this compound may find interesting applications in magnetic storage,spintronics,redox ch.mistry,and cluster catalysis.

Optical tweezers have elucidated numerous biological processes, particularly by enabling the precise manipulation and measurement of tension. One question concerns the biological relevance of these experiments and the generalizability of these experiments to wider biological systems. Here, we categorize the applicability of the information garnered from optical tweezers in two distinct categories: the direct relevance of tension in biological systems, and what experiments under tension can tell us about biological systems, while these systems do not reach.the same tension as the experiment, still, these artificial experimental systems reveal insights into the operations of biological mach.nes and life processes.

Suzhou City,located in the Yangtze River Delta in ch.na,is prone to flooding due to a complex combination of natural factors,including its monsoon climate,low elevation,and tidally influenced position,as well as intensive human *** Large Encirclement Flood Control Project(LEFCP)was launch.d to cope with serious floods in the urban *** project ch.nged the spatiotemporal pattern of flood processes and caused spatial diversion of floods from the urban area to the outskirts of the ***,this study developed a distributed flood simulation model in order to understand this transition of flood *** results revealed that the LEFCP effectively protected the urban areas from floods,but the present sch.duling sch.mes resulted in the spatial diversion of floods to the outskirts of the *** rainstorm frequencies of 10.0%to 0.5%,the water level differences between two representative water level stations(Miduqiao(MDQ)and Fengqiao(FQ))located inside and outside the LEFCP area,ranged from 0.75 m to 0.24 m and from 1.80 m to 1.58 m,*** addition,the flood safety margin at MDQ and the duration with the water level exceeding the warning water level at FQ ranged from 0.95 m to 0.43 m and from 4 h to 22 h,*** sch.duling sch.mes for the hydraulic facilities of the LEFCP in extreme precipitation cases were developed ac-cording to food simulations under seven sch.duling *** helps to regulate the spatial flood diversion caused by the LEFCP during extreme precipitation.

To improve the internal quantum efficiency(IQE)and light output power of In Ga N light-emitting diodes(LEDs),we proposed an In-composition gradient increase and decrease In Ga N quantum barrier *** analysis of its P-I graph,carrier concentration,and energy band diagram,the results showed that when the current was 100 m A,the In-composition gradient decrease quantum barrier(QB)structure could effectively suppress electron leakage while improving hole injection efficiency,resulting in an increase in carrier concentration in the active region and an improvement in the effective recombination rate in the quantum well(QW).As a result,the IQE and output power of the LED were effectively improved.
