Studies on the taxonomy and phylogeny of Diplodia have been hampered by the lack of an ex-type culture linked to the holotype of ***,which is the type of the *** this study a large collection of Diplodia strains,obtained from ash and other woody hosts showing V-shaped cankers and branch dieback,were identified based on morphological characters and DNA sequence data from ItS and EF1-α *** of combined morphological and phylogenetic analyses showed that the Fraxinus isolates from Italy,the Netherlands,Portugal and Spain belong to three distinct species namely Diplodia fraxini,Diplodia mutila and Diplodia subglobosa *** epitype was designated for Diplodia mutila,with associated ex-epitype *** name *** is re-instated and a neotype *** species,Diplodia seriata and Diplodia pseudoseriata were reported for the first time on Fraxinus spp.

this paper reports the results of the analyses of 17 different Hb variants which were observed in 37 families. High pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) was used to separate tryptic and thermolytic peptides of globin chains. the double coupling microsequencing technique can successfully be used for sequencing small or larger peptides.

In this paper,we analyzed the physical characteristics of the ternary alloys RE_(2)Rh_(3)Ge(RE=Pr and Sm)using the first principles calculation based on functional density theory integrated in the Wien2k *** calculated formation energies of Pr_(2)Rh_(3)Ge and Sm_(2)Rh_(3)Ge are−5.3827 and−5.2782 eV/atom,respectively,showing that these alloys may exist *** results of the band structure and density of states indicate that all of the compounds tested are magnetic metals,and their magnetism is mostly related to the contribution of Pr and Sm *** total magnetic moments of Pr_(2)Rh_(3)Ge and Sm_(2)Rh_(3)Ge are 4.07245 and 11.16161μb/f.u,*** parameters such as heat capacity at constant pressure,entropy,Debye temperature,lattice volume,compressibility coefficients,and Grüneisen parameter alloys were calculated using the Gibbs algorithm and studied in depth over a large temperature range of 0-900 *** Debye temperature increases with increasing pressure and decreases with decreasing ***,the Debye temperatures calculated at p=0 GPa and t=300 K are equal to be 342 and 322 K for Pr_(2)Rh_(3)Ge and Sm_(2)Rh_(3)Ge,*** optical characteristics such as the real and imaginary portions of the dielectric function,the absorption coefficient,the energy-loss function,and the refractive index were investigated and discussed in more depth.

In this report,we present a systematic study on the preparation of Co:ZnO ceramics via a standard solid-state route from different Co precursors(Co_(3)O_(4),CoO,and metallic Co)and atmospheres(O_(2)and Ar).Particular emphasis is given to defect chemistry engineering and the sintering growth ***-principles calculations based on density functional theory are employed to determine the formation en-ergy of the main point defects in ZnO and Co:ZnO *** on the theoretical results,a set of chemical reactions is *** microstructural characterization is also performed to determine the degree of Co incorporation into the ZnO *** samples prepared in Ar atmosphere and metal-lic Co present the highest Co solubility limit(lower apparent Co incorporation activation energy)due to the incongruent ZnO *** of the parameters of the sintering growth kinetics reveals that Co_(3)O_(4)is the best sintering additive to achieve larger grain sizes,and possible higher densi-ties,in both sintering atmospheres,while metallic Co is the best to achieve the smallest grain size with higher Co concentration and homogeneous spatial distribution for a subsequent reduction of *** results show that the sintering in O_(2)effectively promotes zinc vacancies in the ZnO structure,while the sintering in Ar promotes zinc interstitial *** findings contribute to understanding the preparation of Co-doped ZnO ceramics and the sintering growth kinetics,which may improve the state of the art in processing the material at both bulk and nanometric scales.

A finite element analysis of stress intensity factors （KI） in clamped SE（t）c specimens （dog bone profile） is presented. A j-integral approach is used to calculate the values of stress intensity factors valid for 0.125≤a/W≤0.625. A detailed comparison is made with the work of other researchers on rectangular specimens. Different boundary conditions are explored to best describe the real conditions in the laboratory. A sensitivity study is also presented to explore the effects of variation in specimen position in the grips of the testing machine. Finally the numerically calculated SIF is used to determine an FCGR curve for AISI Hll tool steel on SE（t）c specimens and compared with C（t） specimen of the same material.

A power management unit （PMU） chip supplying dual panel supply voltage, which has a low electro-magnetic interference （EMI） characteristic and is favorable for miniaturization, is designed. A two-phase charge pump circuit using external pumping capacitor increases its pumping current and works out the charge-loss problem by using bulk-potential biasing circuit. A low-power start-up circuit is also proposed to reduce the power consumption of the band-gap reference voltage generator. And the ring oscillator used in the ELVSS power circuit is designed with logic devices by supplying the logic power supply to reduce the layout area. the PMU chip is designed with MagnaChip＇s 0.25 μ high-voltage process. the driving currents of ELVDD and ELVSS are more than 50 mA when a SPICE simulation is done.

In this paper, a corrected particle method based on the smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) method with high-order taylor expansion (CSPH-Ht) for solving the viscoelastic flow is proposed and investigated. the validity and merits of the CSPH-Ht method are first tested by solving the nonlinear high order Kuramoto-Sivishinsky equation and simulating the drop stretching, respectively. then the flow behaviors behind two stationary tangential cylinders of polymer melt, which have been received little attention, are investigated by the CSPH-Ht method. Finally, the CSPH-Ht method is extended to the simulation of the filling process of the viscoelastic fluid. the numerical results show that the CSPH-Ht method possesses higher accuracy and stability than other corrected SPH methods and is more reliable than other corrected SPH methods.

the creation of a quality Digital terrain Model(DtM)is essential for representing and analyzing the Earth in a digital *** continuous improvements in the acquisition and the potential of airborne Light Detection and Ranging(LiDAR)data are increasing the range of applications of this technique to the study of the Earth *** aim of this study was to determine the optimal parameters for calculating a DtM by using an iterative algorithm to select minimum elevations from LiDAR data in a steep mountain area with shrub *** parameters were:input data type,analysis window size,and height *** effects of slope,point density,and vegetation on DtM accuracy were also *** results showed that the lowest root mean square error(RMSE)was obtained with an analysis window size of 10 m,5 m,and 2.5 m,rasterized data as input data,and height thresholds equal to or greater than 1.5 *** parameters showed a RMSE of 0.19 *** terrain slope varied from 010%to 5060%,the RMSE increased by 0.11 *** RMSE decreased by 0.06 m when point density was increased from 4 to 8 points/m2,and increased by 0.05 m in dense vegetation areas.

A high temperature-tolerating thermoacidophilic archae （tA） was isolated from water samples collected from a hot sulfur-containing spring in the Yunnan Province, China, and was used in bioleaching experiments of a low-grade chalcopyrite ore. the tA grow at temperatures ranging from 40 to 80℃, with 65℃ being the optimum temperature, and at pH values of l.5 to 4.0, with an optimum pH value of 2.0. the bioleaching experiments of the chalcvpyrite ore were conducted in both laboratory batch bioreactors and leaching columns. the results obtained from the bioreactor experiments showed that the tA bioleaching rate of copper reached 97% for a 12-day leaching period, while the bioleaching rate was 32.43% for thiobacillus ferrooxidans （tf） leaching for the same leaching time. In the case of column leaching, tests of a two-phase leaching （196 days）, that is, a two-month （56 days） tf leaching in the first phase, followed by a 140-day tA leaching in the second phase were performed. the average leaching rate of copper achieved for the 140-day tA leaching was 195mg/（L.d）, while for the control experiments, it was as low as 78mg/（L .d） for the tf leaching, indicating that the tA possesses a more powerful oxidizing ability to the chalcopyrite than tf therefore, it is suggested that the two-phase leaching process be applied to .for the heap leaching operations, whereas, the tA can be used in the second phase when the temperature inside the heap has increased, and the primary copper sulfide minerals have already been partially oxidized with tf beforehand in the first phase.
