The amorphous/amorphous nanolaminates(A/ANLs)have aroused great attentions owing to their tunable structure and enhanced mechanical ***,the plastic deformation mechanism of A/ANLs have yet been ***,we systematically examined the mechanical properties and deformation behavior of series of NiNb/ZrCuNi Al A/ANLs via nanoindentaion *** was found that both the amount and morphology of amorphous/amorphous interface(A/AIs)played crucial roles in the plastic deformation of A/*** and straighter A/AIs facilitated multiple shear banding deformation,of which the hardness increased with decreasing layer thickness,as the A/AIs hindered the propagation of shear bands(sBs).Whilst,more and wavier A/AIs promoted homogeneous deformation,of which the hardness stayed at a much lower value and was relatively irrelevant with the layer thickness,for the promoted activation of shear transformation zones by A/*** results provide guidance for modifying the mechanical properties of amorphous alloys with interface engineering design.

Fish in nature exhibit a variety of swimming modes such as forward swimming,backward swimming,turning,pitching,etc.,enabling them to swim in complex scenes such as coral *** is still difficult for a robotic fish to swim autonomously in a confined area as a real ***,we develop an untethered robotic manta as an experimental platform,which consists of two flexible pectoral fins and a tail fin,with three infrared sensors installed on the front,left,and right sides of the head to sense the surrounding *** generate multiple swimming modes of the robotic manta and online switching of different modes,we design a closed-loop Central Pattern Generator(CPG)controller based on distance information and use a combination of phase difference and amplitude of the CPG model to achieve stable and rapid adjustment of yaw *** verify the autonomous swimming ability of the robotic manta in complex scenes,we design an experimental scenario with a concave *** experimental results show that the robotic manta can achieve forward swimming,backward swimming,in situ turning within the concave obstacle,and finally exit from the area safely while relying on the perception of external obstacles,which can provide insight into the autonomous exploration of complex scenes by the biomimetic robotic ***,the swimming ability of the robotic manta is verified by field tests.

The flourishing progress in nanotechnology offers boundless opportunities for agriculture,particularly in the realm of nanopesticides research and ***,concerns have been raised regarding the human and environmental safety issues stemming from the unrestrained use of non-therapeutic nanomaterials in *** is also important to consider whether the current development strategy of nanopesticides based on nanocarriers can strike a balance between investment and return,and if the complex material composition genuinely improves the efficiency,safety,and circularity of ***,we introduced the concept of nanopesticides with minimizing carriers(NMC)prepared through prodrug design and molecular self-assembly emerging as practical tools to address the current limitations,and compared it with nanopesticides employing non-therapeutic nanomaterials as carriers(NNC).We further summarized the current development strategy of NMC and examined potential challenges in its preparation,performance,and ***,we asserted that the development of NMC systems can serve as the innovative driving force catalyzing a green and efficient revolution in nanopesticides,offering a way out of the current predicament.

This paper presents a novel sequential inverse optimal control(sIOC)method for discrete-time systems,which calculates the unknown weight vectors of the cost function in real time using the input and output of an optimally controlled discrete-time *** proposed method overcomes the limitations of previous approaches by eliminating the need for the invertible jacobian *** calculates the possible-solution spaces and their intersections sequentially until the dimension of the intersection space decreases to *** remaining one-dimensional vector of the possible-solution space’s intersection represents the sIOC *** paper presents clear conditions for convergence and addresses the issue of noisy data by clarifying the conditions for the singular values of the matrices that relate to the possible-solution *** effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated through simulation results.

Bionic manta underwater vehicles will play an essential role in future oceans and can perform tasks,such as long-duration reconnaissance and exploration,due to their efficient *** manta wings’deformation is evident during the swimming *** improve the propulsion performance of the unmanned submersible,the study of the deformation into the bionic pectoral fin is *** this research,we designed and fabricated a flexible bionic pectoral fin,which is based on the Fin Ray®effect with active and passive deformation(APD)*** APD fin was actively controlled by two servo motors and could be passively deformed to variable *** APD fin was moved at 0.5 Hz beat frequency,and the propulsive performance was experimentally verified of the bionic pectoral fins equipped with different extents of *** results showed that the pectoral fin with active–passive deformed capabilities could achieve similar natural biological deformation in the wingspan *** average thrust(T)under the optimal wingspan deformation is 61.5%higher than the traditional passive deformed pectoral *** obtained results shed light on the design and optimization of the bionic pectoral fins to improve the propulsive performance of unmanned underwater vehicles(UUV).

Panic disorder is a psychiatric disorder characterized by recurrent panic attacks,with a prevalence of~4%in the general population,causing heavy personal and socioeconomic *** similarities of animal defense responses to clinical panic attack symptoms in humans make it possible to translate neuroanatomical pathways identified in animal studies to panic disorder in ***,in this review we first present a basic overview of panic disorder in humans including the main subtypes,models commonly used to trigger panic attacks,related hypotheses,the neurotransmitter systems that may be involved,and the current clinical treatments to give the reader a comprehensive understanding of panic *** animal section introduces the models that trigger panic-like behavior in animals and the brain regions that may be involved,providing insights for future elucidation of the neural circuit mechanisms behind panic attacks.

Parkinson's disease is characterized by the selective degeneration of dopamine neurons in the nigrostriatal pathway and dopamine deficiency in the *** precise reasons behind the specific degeneration of these dopamine neurons remain largely *** investigations have identified over 20 causative PARK genes and 90 genomic risk loci associated with both familial and sporadic Parkinson's ***,several of these genes are linked to the synaptic vesicle recycling process,particularly the clathrinmediated endocytosis *** suggests that impaired synaptic vesicle recycling might represent an early feature of Parkinson's disease,followed by axonal degeneration and the eventual loss of dopamine cell bodies in the midbrain via a"dying back"***,several new animal and cellular models with Parkinson's disease-linked mutations affecting the endocytic pathway have been created and extensively *** models faithfully recapitulate certain Parkinson's disease-like features at the animal,circuit,and cellular levels,and exhibit defects in synaptic membrane trafficking,further supporting the findings from human genetics and clinical *** this review,we will first summarize the cellular and molecular findings from the models of two Parkinson's disease-linked clathrin uncoating proteins:auxilin(DNAjC6/PARK19)and synaptojanin 1(sYNj1/PARK20).The mouse models carrying these two PARK gene mutations phenocopy each other with specific dopamine terminal pathology and display a potent synergistic ***,we will delve into the involvement of several clathrin-mediated endocytosis-related proteins(GAK,endophilin A1,sAC2/INPP5 F,synaptotagmin-11),identified as Parkinson's disease risk factors through genome-wide association studies,in Parkinson's disease *** will also explore the direct or indirect roles of some common Parkinson's disease-linked proteins(alpha-synuclein(PARK1/4),Parkin(PARK2),and LRRK2(PARK
