In the ANSICHT project that was jointly carried out by DBE TECHNOLOGY Gmb H,BGR,and GRS g Gmb H,two generic geological site models were used to develop a first draft of a methodology to demonstrate the safety of a high-level waste(HLW) repository in argillaceous formations in Germany,taking into account the regulatory *** main results of the project are characterised by the developed repository concepts adapted to the geological *** specific quantifications of the integrity criteria and their exemplary application with calculational proofs were used to demonstrate the integrity of the host *** development of site-specific FEP(features,events,and processes) cataloges provided a complete system description for evaluation of the repository *** developed work flow of the demonstration concept illustrated the complete sequence of the safety proof in a transparent *** shows that various steps have to be performed,possibly iteratively,to provide a successful safety *** results form a useful tool in the pending search for a HLW repository site,especially when providing a basis for comparing safety analyses of different sites in Germany.

Signaling via interleukin-2 receptor(IL-2R)is a requisite for regulatory T(Treg)cell identity and ***,it is not completely understood to what degree IL-2R signaling is required for Treg cell homeostasis,lineage stability and function in both resting and inflammatory ***,we characterized a spontaneous mutant mouse strain endowed with a hypomorphic Tyr129His variant of CD25,theα-chain of IL-2R,which resulted in diminished receptor expression and reduced IL-2R *** noninflammatory conditions,Cd25Y129H mice harbored substantially lower numbers of peripheral Treg cells with stable Foxp3 expression that prevented the development of spontaneous autoimmune *** contrast,Cd25^(Y^(129H))Treg cells failed to efficiently induce immune suppression and lost lineage commitment in a T-cell transfer colitis model,indicating that unimpaired IL-2R signaling is critical for Treg cell function in inflammatory ***,single-cell RNA sequencing of Treg cells revealed that impaired IL-2R signaling profoundly affected the balance of central and effector Treg cell ***,partial loss of IL-2R signaling differentially interferes with the maintenance,heterogeneity,and suppressive function of the Treg cell pool.

Neutralizing antibodies targeting the receptor-binding domain(RBD)of the SARS-CoV-2 spike(S)block severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)entry into cells via surface-expressed angiotensin-converting enzyme 2(ACE2).We used a surrogate virus neutralization test(sVNT)and SARS-CoV-2 S protein-pseudotyped vesicular stomatitis virus(VSV)vector-based neutralization assay(pVNT)to assess the degree to which serum antibodies from coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)convalescent patients interfere with the binding of SARS-CoV-2 S to *** tests revealed neutralizing anti-SARS-CoV-2 S antibodies in the sera of ~90% of mildly and 100% of severely affected COVID-19 convalescent ***,sVNT and pVNT results correlated strongly with each other and to the levels of anti-SARS-CoV-2 S1 IgG and IgA ***,levels of neutralizing antibodies correlated with the duration and severity of clinical symptoms but not with patient *** to pVNT,sVNT is less sophisticated and does not require any biosafety *** this assay is also much faster and cheaper,sVNT will not only be important for evaluating the prevalence of neutralizing antibodies in a population but also for identifying promising plasma donors for successful passive antibody therapy.

Here we present the assembly of novel transparent all-polymer distributed feedback(DFB)*** and highly transparent cellulose diacetate(CdA)was employed as substrate on which gratings with different periods were engraved by thermal nanoimprinting with high *** luminescent conjugated polymers(CP),poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene)(PFO),poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene-alt-benzothiadiazole)(F8BT),and a blend of F8BT and poly(3-hexylthiophene)-poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene-altbenzothiadiazole)(P3HT:F8BT)were deposited by spin coating onto the nanostructured plastic surfaces,giving rise to perpendicular single-mode lasing emission in the blue,green,and red wavelength ranges,*** lasers show linewidths below 1 nm and low thresholds(≈6μjcm^(−2) for blue and red lasing emission),comparable to other state-of-the-art lasers obtained from similar optical gain materials on rigid *** followed strategy is scalable and versatile,enabling the development of large area nanoimprinted DFB lasers(>1cm^(2))on plastic,which is highly relevant for applications in various markets.

摘要目的明确MR扫描时不同强度场强(1、1.5、3、7 T)和对比剂对病人DNA双链断裂(DSB)的作用。材料与方法该活体实验通过机构伦理委员会批准,病人均签署知情同意书。在进行MRI检查前及检查后的5、30 min,直接从外周血样本中分离出单核细胞以分析DNA的DSB水平。采用γH2AX免疫荧光染色,自动数字显微镜定量分析DSB。MR小组由43例病人组成(女22例,男21例;年龄20～77岁,平均46.1岁),并依据施加的场强和对比剂分为不同亚组。此外,10例进行CT平扫或CT增强扫描的病人作为阳性对照

Despite the criticisms which have been made of the icterus index on the grounds of its inaccuracy in the presence of carotinemia, it seems probable that this simple determination will remain one of our most valuable laboratory methods. The experimental observations of Snider and reinhold (1) suggest that the character of the van den Bergh reaction (direct, delayed, biphasic, indirect) depends on the concentration of bilirubin in the blood stream rather than on the mode of its production and that, consequently, it adds little if any information to that derived from the icterus index.
