To maintain,develop and rationally utilize marine organisms,understanding their genetic structure and habitat adaptation pattern is *** punctatus,which is a commercial fish species inhabiting the Indo-west pacific Ocean,has shown an obvious annual global capture and aquaculture production decline due to climate changes and human *** the present study,restriction-site associated DNA sequencing(RAD-seq)was used to describe its genome-wide single nucleotide polymorphisms panel(SNps).Among 146 individuals collected at nine locations scattered in China,Korea and japan,a set of 632,090 SNps were *** genetic analysis showed that *** individuals were divided into two significant genetic ***,potential genetic differentiation between northern and southern population of *** was *** results indicated that gene flow existed among sampling locations of ***,especially from southern japan to ***,candidate genes associated with habitat adaptations of *** were identified,which are involved in diverse physiological processes of *** including growth and development(e.g.,KIDINS220,pAN3),substance metabolism(e.g.,pGM5)and immune response(e.g.,VAV3,CCT7,HSpA12B).Our findings may aid in understanding the possible mechanisms for the population genetic structure and local adaptation of ***,which is beneficial to establish the management and conservation units of ***,guiding the rational use of resources,with reference significance for a profound understanding of the adaptative mechanisms of other marine organisms to the environment.

An externally generated resonant magnetic perturbation can induce complex non-ideal MHD responses in their resonant *** have studied the plasma responses using Fitzpatrick's improved two-fluid model and program *** calculated the error field penetration threshold for *** addition,we find that the island width increases slightly as the error field amplitude increases when the error field amplitude is below the critical penetration ***,the island width suddenly jumps to a large value because the shielding effect of the plasma against the error field disappears after the *** scanning the natural mode frequency,we find that the shielding effect of the plasma decreases as the natural mode frequency ***,we obtain the m/n=2/1 penetration threshold scaling on density and temperature.

Although rare earth zirconates(RE_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7))have garnered attention as viable candidates for thermal barrier coatings(TBCs),they suffer from low fracture toughness and accelerated calcium–magnesium–alumina–silicate(CMAS)melt corrosion at high service temperatures,which impedes their practical *** this work,we developed a series of REAlO_(3)/RE_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)(RE=La,Nd,Sm,Eu,Gd,and Dy)composites with a eutectic composition that not only significantly enhanced the fracture toughness by more than 40%relative to that of RE_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)but also exhibited improved resistance to CMAS *** increase in toughness arises from multiple mechanisms,such as ferroelastic toughening,fine-grain strengthening,and residual stress toughening,all of which trigger more crack defects and energy ***,the CMAS penetration depth of the REAlO_(3)/RE_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)composites is approximately 36%lower than that of RE_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7).Al–O constituents in composites can capture CaO,SiO_(2),and MgO in CMAS melts and increase their viscosity,resulting in enhanced CMAS corrosion *** thermophysical properties of the REAlO_(3)/RE_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)composites were also investigated,and their coefficient of thermal expansion and thermal conductivity are comparable to those of 7–8 wt%Y_(2)O_(3)partially stabilized ZrO2(YSZ),indicating their potential as TBC materials.

Surface acoustic wave(SAW)resonators based on lithium tantalate(LT,LiTaO_(3))wafers are crucial elements of mobile communication *** use of intrinsic LT wafers typically brings about low fabrication accuracy of SAW resonators due to strong UV reflection in the lithography *** hinders their resonance frequency control seriously in industrial *** doping and chemical reduction could be applied to decrease the UV reflection of LT wafers for high lithographic ***,conventional methods fail to provide a fast and nondestructive approach to identify the UV performance of standard single-side polished LT wafers for highprecision frequency ***,we propose a convenient on-line sensing scheme based on the colorimetry of reduced Fe-doped LT wafers and build up an automatic testing system for industrial *** levels of Fe doping and chemical reduction are evaluated by the lightness and color difference of LT-based *** correlation between the wafer visible colorimetry and UV reflection is established to refine the lithography process and specifically manipulate the frequency performance of SAW *** study provides a powerful tool for the fabrication control of SAW resonators and will inspire more applications on sophisticated devices of mobile communication.

With the rapid development of the Internet of Things(IoTs),wearable sensors are playing an increasingly important role in daily monitoring of personal health and *** signal-to-noise-ratio has become the most critical performance factor to *** enhance it,on the one hand,good sensing materials/devices have been employed;on the other hand,signal amplification and noise reduction circuits have been ***,most of these devices and circuits work in an active sampling mode,requiring frequent data acquisition and hence,entailing high-power *** this scenario,a flexible and wearable event-triggered sensor with embedded signal amplification without an external power supply is of great ***,we report a flexible two-terminal piezotronic n-p-n bipolar junction transistor(pBjT)that acts as an autonomous and highly sensitive,current-and/or voltage-mediated pressure *** pBjT is formed by two back-to-back piezotronic diodes which are defined as emitter-base and collectorbase *** force exertion on the emitter side,as a result of the piezoelectric effect,the emitter-base diode is forward biased while the collector-base diode is reverse *** to the inherent BjT amplification effect,the pBjT achieves record-high sensitivities of 139.7 kpa^(-1)(current-based)and 88.66 kpa^(-1)(voltage-based)in sensing *** pBjT also has a fast response time ofpBjT advances the state of the art not only in terms of sensitivity but also in regard to being self-driven and autonomous,making it promising for pressure sensing and other IoT applications.

The evolution of the latitudinal diversity gradient(LDG),characterized by a peak in diversity toward the tropics,has captured significant attention in evolutionary biology and ***,the inverse LDG(i-LDG)mechanism,wherein species richness increases toward the poles,remains inadequately *** are among one of the oldest lineages of extant seed plants and have undergone extensive diversification in the ***,the extant cycad abundance exhibits an i-LDG pattern,and the underlying causes for this phenomenon remain largely ***,using 1,843 nuclear genes from a nearly complete sampling,we conducted comprehensive phylogenomic analyses to establish a robust species-level phylogeny for Cycas,the largest genus within *** then reconstructed the spatial-temporal dynamics and integrated global environmental data to evaluate the roles of species ages,diversification rates,contemporary environment,and conservatism to ancestral niches in shaping the i-LDG *** found Cycas experienced decreased diversification rates,coupled with the cooling temperature since its origin in the Eocene from continental *** regions have distinctively contributed to the formation of i-LDG for Cycas,with the northern hemisphere acting as evolutionary museums and the southern hemisphere serving as ***,water-related climate variables,specifically precipitation seasonality and potential evapotranspiration,were identified as paramount factors constraining Cycas species richness in the rainforest biome near the ***,the adherence to ancestral monsoonal climates emerges as a critical factor in sustaining the diversity *** study underscores the imperative of integrating both evolutionary and ecological approaches to comprehensively unravel the mechanisms underpinning global biodiversity patterns.

Global images of auroras obtained by cameras on spacecraft are a key tool for studying the near-Earth ***,the cameras are sensitive not only to auroral emissions produced by precipitating particles,but also to dayglow emissions produced by photoelectrons induced by *** emissions and scattered sunlight can contribute to the background *** fully utilize such images in space science,background contamination must be removed to isolate the auroral *** we outline a data-driven approach to modeling the background intensity in multiple images by formulating linear inverse problems based on B-splines and spherical *** approach is robust,flexible,and iteratively deselects outliers,such as auroral *** final model is smooth across the terminator and accounts for slow temporal variations and large-scale asymmetries in the *** demonstrate the model by using the three far ultraviolet cameras on the Imager for Magnetopause-to-Aurora Global Exploration(IMAGE)*** method can be applied to historical missions and is relevant for upcoming missions,such as the Solar wind Magnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer(SMILE)mission.
