Thiol Ligand-Modified Au for Highly Efficient Electroreduction of Nitrate to Ammonia

Electroreduction of nitrate(NO_(3)-)to ammonia(NH_(3))is an environmentally friendly route for NH_(3)production,serving as an appealing alternative to the Haber-Bosch ***,various noble metal-based electrocatalysts have been reported for electroreduction of NO_(3)-.However,the application of pure metal electrocatalysts is still limited by unsatisfactory performance,owing to the weak adsorption of nitrogen-containing intermediates on the surface of pure metal *** this work,we report thiol ligand-modified Au nanoparticles as the effective electrocatalysts toward electroreduction of NO_(3)-.Specifically,three mercaptobenzoic acid(MBA)isomers,thiosalicylic acid(ortho-MBA),3-mercaptobenzoic acid(meta-MBA),and 4-mercaptobenzoic acid(para-MBA),were employed to modify the surface of the Au *** the NO_(3)-electroreduction,para-MBA modified Au(denoted as para-Au/C)displayed the highest catalytic activity among these Au-based ***-1.0 V versus reversible hydrogen electrode(vs RHE),para-Au/C exhibited a partial current density for NH_(3)of 472.2 ma cm^(-2),which was 1.7 times that of the pristine Au ***,the Faradaic efficiency(FE)for NH_(3)reached 98.7%at-1.0 V vs RHE for para-Au/*** modification of para-MBA significantly improved the intrinsic activity of the Au/C catalyst,thus accelerating the kinetics of NO_(3)-reduction and giving rise to a high NH_(3)yield rate of para-Au/C.

深度学习在处理时间序列数据上具有优势,在汇率时间序列的应用研究中,目前深度学习主要关注于单步预测,即利用以前时点的数据预测下一个时点的汇率数据.然而,在实际应用中,这种单步预测方式往往无法为决策者提供足够的决策信息;同时,由于汇率时间序列呈现出非平稳、复杂度高等特点,直接利用传统深度学习方法进行预测无法充分挖掘汇率序列的特征及规律.为此,本研究提出一种基于多尺度一维卷积神经网络(1D-CNN)和注意力机制的汇率多步预测方法,该方法在自适应的融合多尺度特征的同时,差异化的融合汇率不同时刻的时间序列特征,实现汇率的多步预测.通过实验发现,所提方法相较于基准方法,如差分整合移动平均自回归模型、支持向量回归、随机游走、极限梯度提升算法、长短期记忆网络等具有更高的预测精度,表明该方法能够为外汇市场投资者提供决策支持.

The burgeoning growth of the new energy vehicles and aviation industry has escalated the need for energy storage capacitors capable of stable operation in harsh *** advent of metal-polyimide complexes has illuminated a novel approach for preparing tem perature-resistant ***,the general application of these metal-polyimide com plexes is impeded by the high dielectric loss and low breakdown strength,consequences of main-chain coordination and excessive metal ions ***,our study proposes a novel polyimideCu complex material(POP-Cu)predicated on side-chain-type pyridine-Cu coordination,utilizing the structural backbone PMDA-ODA of mature commercial PI(Kapton)with reliable *** to the high degree of freedom afforded by the side chain with suppressed relaxation activation energy and the long-range electron delocalization formed by d-πcoordination,the dielectric constant of this material containing merely 2.7 mol%Cu increases from 3.25(POPI)to 5.58,while maintaining a remarkably low dielectric loss of ***,this material exhibits a substantial DC breakdown strength of 436.2 MV·m^(-1)and a high energy density of 5.42 j·cm^(-3),coupled with superior mechanical and thermal *** at 150℃,it retains over 90%of its room-temperature energy density,demon strating notable dielectric stability under high *** attributes underscore its promising application for capacitors operating in harsh environments.

Innovative pathways allow safe discharge of mild acute pancreatitis from the emergency room

Acute pancreatitis(AP)is a leading cause of gastrointestinal-related hospitalizations in the United States,resulting in 300000 admissions per year with an estimated cost of over$2.6 billion *** severity of AP is determined by the presence of pancreatic complications and end-organ *** moderate/severe pancreatitis can be associated with significant morbidity and mortality,the majority of patients have a mild presentation with an uncomplicated course and mortality rate of less than 2%.Despite favorable outcomes,the majority of mild AP patients are admitted,contributing to healthcare cost and *** this Editorial we review the performance of an emergency department(ED)pathway for patients with mild AP at a tertiary care center with the goal of reducing hospitalizations,resource utilization,and costs after several years of implementation of the *** discuss the clinical course and outcomes of mild AP patients enrolled in the pathway who were successfully discharged from the ED compared to those who were admitted to the hospital,and identify predictors of successful ED discharge to select patients who can potentially be triaged to the *** conclude that by implementing innovative clinical pathways which are established and reproducible,selected AP patients can be safely discharged from the ED,reducing hospitalizations and healthcare costs,without compromising clinical *** also identify a subset of patients most likely to succeed in this pathway.

Temperature is an important environmental factor affecting heading date of *** its importance,genes responsible for temperature-sensitive heading in rice have remained *** previous study identified a quantitative trait locus qHd1 which advances heading date under high temperatures.A 9.5-kb insertion was found in the first intron of OsmaDS51 in indica variety Zhenshan 97(ZS97).However,the function of this natural variant in controlling temperature sensitivity has not been *** this study,we used CRISPR/Cas9 to knock out the 9.5-kb insertion in *** conducted under cotrolled conditions in phytotrons confirmed that deletion increased temperature sensitivity and advanced heading by downregulating the expression level of ***-hybrid assays in yeast,ChIP-quantitative polymerase chain reaction,electrophoretic mobility shift,and luciferase-based transient transactivation assays collectively confirmed that OsmaDS51 affects heading date by regulation of heading date gene *** further determined that the long non-coding RNA HEATINR is generated from the first intron of OsmaDS51,offering an explanation for how the 9.5-kb insertion affects temperature *** also found that OsmaDS51 was strongly selected in early/late-season rice varieties in South China,possibly accounting for their strong temperature *** insights not only advance our understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying the temperature-responsive regulation of heading date in rice but also provide a valuable genetic target for molecular breeding.

BACKGROUND The association between the intestinal microbiota and psychiatric disorders is becoming increasingly *** gut microbiota contributes to colorectal carcinogenesis(CRC),as demonstrated with colibactin-producing Escherichia coli(CoPEC).AIM To evaluate the association between CoPEC prevalence and anxiety-and depressive-like behaviors with both preclinical and clinical *** Patients followed after a CRC surgery and for whom the prevalence of CoPEC has been investigated underwent a psychiatric *** were compared according to the CoPEC *** parallel C57BL6/j wild type mice and mice with a CRC susceptibility were chronically infected with a CoPEC *** behavior was assessed using the Elevated Plus maze test,the Forced Swimming Test and the Behavior recognition system PhenoTyper®.RESULTS In a limited cohort,all patients with CoPEC colonization presented with psychiatric disorders several years before cancer diagnosis,whereas only one patient(17%)without CoPEC *** result was confirmed in C57BL6/j wildtype mice and in a CRC susceptibility mouse model(adenomatous polyposis colimultiple intestinal neoplasia/+).Mice exhibited a significant increase in anxiety-and depressive-like behaviors after chronic infection with a CoPEC *** This finding provides the first evidence that CoPEC infection can induce microbiota-gut-brain axis disturbances in addition to its procarcinogenic properties.

【目的】综合考虑论文的创新性和影响力,提出一种新的论文代表作遴选方法。【方法】基于论文创新性和影响力测度指标,设计代表性指数,遴选代表性指数靠前的论文作为学者的论文代表作。以诺贝尔物理学奖获得者为例,遴选其论文代表作,将平均排名和准确率作为评价指标检验遴选方法的有效性和准确性。选取张涛院士和Hirsch j E教授进行案例分析,使用代表性指数遴选其论文代表作。【结果】实证结果表明,与其他6种遴选方法对比,使用代表性指数遴选论文代表作在平均排名(2.838)和准确率(63.158%)两个指标上均排名第一。【局限】使用的测度指标需要一定的引文积累,可能无法有效选出学者新近做出的重要工作。【结论】所提论文代表作遴选方法具备可行性。

具有高效吸能特性的新型仿蜂窝多级薄壁结构

针对现有薄壁结构存在比吸能不高、压缩力效率较低的问题,以蜂窝为原型,模拟蜂窝多级嵌套结构,进行仿生结构优化设计。为了更好地探究形状参数对吸能能力的影响,进一步以相对旋转角度及加强柱直径为设计变量,设计了共20种仿蜂窝多级薄壁结构。运用3D打印技术,制备了尼龙材质的仿蜂窝多级薄壁结构样件,并进行准静态压缩试验。最后,对比分析了数值模拟结果与试验结果,得出以下结论:本文吸能能力最强的模型为YMT20-3.6,比吸能达到了10.87 j·g^(-1),较初始模型YMT0-0提高了约86%;旋转角度越大,加强柱直径越大,模型截面面积分布越均匀,模型变形模式也趋于对称,其能量吸收能力也更强;较大的旋转角度拥有更优异的吸能能力,但是其压缩力效率较小。增大模型加强柱直径能够减少旋转角度对压缩力效率的影响,提高模型的压缩力效率,从而得到吸能能力强、压缩力效率高的薄壁结构。
