Metabolic reprogramming by Syntenin-1 directs RA FLS and endothelial cell-mediated inflammation and angiogenesis

A novel rheumatoid arthritis(RA)synovial fluid protein,Syntenin-1,and its receptor,Syndecan-1(SDC-1),are colocalized on RA synovial tissue endothelial cells and fibroblast-like synoviocytes(FLS).Syntenin-1 exacerbates the inflammatory landscape of endothelial cells and RA FLS by upregulating transcription of IRF1/5/7/9,IL-1β,IL-6,and CCL2 through SDC-1 ligation and HIF1α,or mTOR ***,Syntenin-1 orchestrates RA FLS and endothelial cell invasion via SDC-1 and/or mTOR *** Syntenin-1 reprogrammed endothelial cells,the dynamic expression of metabolic intermediates coincides with escalated glycolysis along with unchanged oxidative factors,AMPK,PGC-1α,citrate,and inactive oxidative ***,RA FLS rewired by Syntenin-1 displayed a modest glycolytic-ATP accompanied by a robust mitochondrial-ATP *** enriched mitochondrial-ATP detected in Syntenin-1 reprogrammed RA FLS was coupled with mitochondrial fusion and fission recapitulated by escalated Mitofusin-2 and DRP1 *** found that VEGFR1/2 and Notch1 networks are responsible for the crosstalk between Syntenin-1 rewired endothelial cells and RA FLS,which are also represented in RA *** to RA explants,morphological and transcriptome studies authenticated the importance of VEGFR1/2,Notch1,RAPTOR,and HIF1αpathways in Syntenin-1 arthritic mice and their obstruction in SDC-1 deficient ***,dysregulation of SDC-1,mTOR,and HIF1αnegated Syntenin-1 inflammatory phenotype in RA explants,while inhibition of HIF1αimpaired synovial angiogenic imprint amplified by *** conclusion,since the current therapies are ineffective on Syntenin-1 and SDC-1 expression in RA synovial tissue and blood,targeting this pathway and its interconnected metabolic intermediates may provide a novel therapeutic strategy.

Al2O3-TiO2/ZrO2-SiO2 based porous ceramics from particle-stabilized wet foam

The porous ceramics based on Al2O3–TiO2/ZrO2–SiO2 from particle-stabilized wet foam by direct foaming were discussed. The initial Al2O3–TiO2 suspension was prepared by adding TiO2 suspension to partially hydrophobized colloidal Al2O3 suspension with equimolar amount, to form Al2TiO5 on sintering. The secondary ZrO2–SiO2 suspension was prepared using the equimolar composition, and to obtain ZrSiO4, ZrTiO4, and mullite phases in the sintered samples, the secondary suspension was blended into the initial suspension at 0, 10, 20, 30, and 50 vol%. The wet foam exhibited an air content up to 87%, Laplace pressure from 1.38 to 2.23 mPa, and higher adsorption free energy at the interface of approximately 5.8×108 to 7.5×108 j resulting an outstanding foam stability of 87%. The final suspension was foamed, and the wet foam was sintered from 1400 to 1600 °C for 1 h. The porous ceramics with pore size from 150 to 400 μm on average were obtained. The phase identification was accomplished using X-ray diffraction (XRD), differential thermal analysis (DTA), and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and microstructural analysis was performed using field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM).

本文总结并报导了斯洛伐克西喀尔巴阡山脉内侧的石炭纪岩石中产出的菱镁矿和滑石成因的最新资料.这些矿床赋存于Veporicum构造超单元中和该超单元与Gemericum的接触带中.北部Sinec成矿带是主要的菱镁矿和滑石矿化区,产出的主要矿床有Kokava,Sinec,Samo,Hnsta-Mutnik等矿床.而南部的Ochtina成矿带只产有菱镁矿床,主要矿床包括在Dubrava地体上的Dubrava,Mikov?jedL'vec;Luben韐,Ochtina,Kosice-Bankov,Banisko,Medvedia等矿床.菱镁矿形成于变质M1期石炭系中方解石被白云石和菱镁矿连续交代过程(北矿带成矿温度为280～400℃,南矿带成矿温度为370～420℃;Radvanec＆Prochska,2001;Kodera＆Radvanec,2002).Permoscythian蒸发卤水提供了Mg.成矿事件和华力西期碰撞后运动有关.拉伸构造和高热流值促使成矿热液系统的产生.滑石矿化则形成于稍晚的不同期变质事件(M2),成矿流体来源也与菱镁矿化不同.构造的、微构造的、变质的以及地质年代学的数据将滑石成矿作用和阿尔卑斯上白垩系的构造地热事件AD2联系在一起.AD2事件是阿尔卑斯碰撞(AD1)地壳加厚和变质核杂岩体起源的结果,体现在地壳不整合面上的区域拉伸,及开放系统中大规模热液流动.这一过程在更靠近Veporic热穹的北带区域(Sinec剪切带)很显著,而向着Veporic热穹的周围部分(南Ochtina带),M2变质过程和块滑石化则逐渐减弱.Sinec剪切带是北Sinec带中突出的AD2-AD3结构,白云石/菱镁矿透镜体(在M1期交代造成的)和相伴随的岩石夹杂在AD1中更坚硬的基底岩石之中.本研究证明了AD2中块滑石化的普遍性,滑石和白云石2形成于拉伸显微构造中(变质过程M2;温度为490～540℃,压力为240～330MPa).在Sinec带中AD3阶段的对偶剪切作用形成了该带中的滑石矿.它是AD2事件从去顶到区域扭压剪切的动力学转变过程的逐步延续.北Sinec带使AD3变形处于由坚硬岩石包围的软岩石的狭窄的剪切带中,而在南Ochtina带中AD3变形产生在由里面漂浮着坚硬碳酸盐块的软的岩石柱中.在Ochtina带中,在AD2和AD3阶段由于M2期较低的P-T条件和变形梯度导致了该区有经济价值的滑石矿化不发育.总之,现有的研究结果能用作阿尔卑斯型地体中菱镁矿和滑石找矿的基本标志.

Simplicial Indicator Kriging

Indicator kriging （ik） is a spatial interpolation technique devised for estimating a conditional cumulative distribution function at an unsampled location. The result is a discrete approximation, and its corresponding estimated probability density function can be viewed as a composition in the simplex. This fact suggested a compositional approach to ik which, by construction, avoids all its standard drawbacks （negative predictions, not-ordered or larger than one）. Here, a simple algorithm to develop the procedure is presented.

针对AOD(氩氧脱碳)过程提出了一个新的仿真模型,模型考虑了局部的变化,但仍然保证了计算的高效性。一个新的思路就是把AOD转炉作为流股区的活塞流反应器和熔池与表面熔渣的连续搅拌池反应器的组合来模拟。这种方法比之以前的模型有很多优点。首先,它提供了考虑气泡在流股中上升过程局部变化条件的有效方法。因为变量更少,相对于计算流体动力学(CFD)模型,这种构造使其能够非常高效地运算。模型的验证也更容易,因为它具有可被试验确定的特征。将模型与两种不同的试验(高Cr和低Cr钢种)情况进行了对比,结果表明,模型对脱碳和Cr行为的预测很好。利用模型输出结果可以获得主导机制的信息,更为重要的是何种元素主要参与氧的反应。模型给出了不同成分的元素如何在喷嘴附近区域首先发生氧化,之后又在熔渣上浮过程中被部分还原。模型同时包含了对氮行为的模拟,因此可以系统地用于优化脱氮。

Infectious keratitis in Vietnam:etiology,organisms,and management at Vietnam National Eye Hospital

AIM:To report the etiologies,risk factors,treatments,and outcomes of infectious keratitis(ik)at a major Vietnamese eye ***:This is a retrospective review of all cases of ik at Vietnam National Eye Hospital(VNEH)in Hanoi,*** histories,demographics,clinical features,microbiological results,and treatment outcomes were ***:ik was diagnosed in 1974 eyes of 1952 patients,with ocular trauma being the greatest risk factor for ik(34.2%),frequently resulting from an agriculturerelated injur y(53.3%).The mean duration between symptom onset and presentation to VNEH was 19.3±14.4 d,and 98.7%of patients had been treated with topical antibiotic and/or antifungal agents prior to evaluation at *** on smear results of 1706 samples,the most common organisms identified were bacteria(n=1107,64.9%)and fungi(n=1092,64.0%),with identification of both bacteria and fungi in 614(36.0%)***-five of 374 bacterial cultures(14.7%)and 426 of 838 fungal cultures(50.8%)were positive,with the most commonly cultured pathogens being Pseudomonas aeruginosa,Streptococcus pneumonia,Fusarium spp.,and Aspergillus *** perforation and descemetocele developed in 391(19.8%)and 93(4.7%)eyes,*** treatment was successful in resolving ik in 50.4%eyes,while 337(17.1%)eyes underwent penetrating or anterior lamellar *** was performed in 7.1%of eyes,most commonly in the setting of fungal ***:Ocular trauma is a major risk factor for ik in Vietnam,which is diagnosed in almost 400 patients each year at *** this,and as approximately one quarter of the eyes that develop ik require corneal transplantation or evisceration,greater emphasis should be placed on the development of prevention and treatment programs for ik in Vietnam.

本文研究了羊胡子草纤维在波罗的海经常发生的条件下水面柴油溢油的去除效果。在实验室尺度实验中检测了低温、盐度和细菌添加剂的影响,在中等尺度实验中填充600 L波罗的海海水,检测了柴油和迅速去除柴油对微生物、浮游植物和贻贝的影响。结果表明在低温条件下羊胡子草对水面柴油具有极佳的吸收力。实验室研究中接种柴油富集微生物显著提高了对柴油的降解作用。在中等尺度实验中,向水池中添加柴油(0.66mg/L,0.533L/m^2)导致微生物密度较其它水池升高,包括接种水池,这表明波罗的海含有碳氢化合物降解自然菌群。在中等尺度的实验中羊胡子草对柴油的去除显著提高了贻贝的存活:在柴油水池和添加羊胡子草的柴油水池中贻贝的死亡率分别是100%和0%。但是存活的贻贝具有一系列病理改变,如炎症反应、退化和细胞死亡。甚至当羊胡子草结合的原油被留在水中,减毒作用仍然显著。本结果说明原油渗漏后迅速的行动对于控制危害非常重要。

On the Structure of Graded Leibniz Algebras

We study the structure of graded Leibniz algebras with arbitrary dimension and over an arbitrary base field K. We show that any of such algebras ￡ with a symmetric G-support is of the form ￡ = U-∑jIj with U a subspace of ￡1, the homogeneous component associated to the unit element 1 in G, and any Ij a well described graded ideal of ￡, satisfying [Ij, ik]= 0 if j≠ k. In the case of ￡ being of maximal length, we characterize the gr-simplicity of the algebra in terms of connections in the support of the grading.
