Systematic study of odd-mass^151-161Pm and^154,156Pm isotopes using projected shell model

Inspired by the availability of recent experimental as well as theoretical data on the energy levels of odd-mass^151-161Pm and odd-odd^154,156Pm,we applied the theoretical framework of the projected shell model to further understand the nuclear structure of these *** calculations closely reproduced the experimental data reported for the yrast bands of these isotopes by assuming an axial(prolate)deformation of^*** properties along the yrast line,such as transition energies and transition probabilities,have also been *** diagrams are plotted to understand their intrinsic multi-quasiparticle structure,which turn out to be dominated by 1-quasiparticle bands for the odd-mass Pm isotopes and 2-quasiparticle bands for the doubly-odd Pm isotopes under *** present study not only confirms the recently reported experimental/theoretical data,but also extends the already available information on the energy levels and adds new information regarding the reduced transition probabilities.

A microscopic high spin study of neutron deficient and normally deformed 133,135,137Sm has been carried out in projected shell model *** theoretical results have been obtained for the spins,parities and energy values of yrast and excited *** this,the band spectra,band head energies,moment of inertia and electromagnetic transition strengths are also Predicted in these *** calculations successfully give a deeper understanding of the mechanism of the formation of yrast and excited bands from the single and multi-quasi particle *** results on moment of inertia predict an alignment of a pair of protons in the proton(1 h11/2)^2 orbitals in the yrast ground state bands of 133-137Sm due to the crossing of one quasiparticle bands by multi-quasiparticle bands at higher *** discussion in the present work is based on the deformed single particle *** future experimental confirmation or refutation of our predictions will be a valuable information which can help to understand the deformed single particle structure in these odd mass neutron deficient 133-137Sm.

The neutron deficient Xe nuclei with A≈120 are predicted to have strong octupole correlation at low *** the present study,an attempt was made to improve upon the level scheme and also to examine the signatures of octupole correlation in^(118)xe via high spin γ-ray *** spin states in^(118)Xe have been populated via the^(93)Nb(^(28)Si,p2n)^(118)Xe fusion-evaporation reaction at a beam energy of 115 MeV provided by the 15 UD pelletron accelerator facility at IUAC,New *** the experiment,seven newγ-transitions have been found and placed appropriately in the level scheme.A theoretical study using the triaxial projected shell model(TPSM)approach suggests that the first bandcrossing is due to the alignment of two neutrons,and a parallel band tracking the yrast configuration is the γ-band built on the two-quasiparticle *** E1 transition rates measured between opposite parity bands involving vh_(11/2)and vd_(5/2)orbitals having△j=△l=3 indicate the presence of octupole correlation in this nucleus.

This study deals with the stagnation point flow of ferrofluid over a flat plate with non-linear slip boundary condition in the presence of homogeneous-heterogeneous *** kinds of ferroparticles,namely,magnetite(Fe_3O_4),cobalt ferrite(CoFe_2O_4) and manganese zinc ferrite(Mn-ZnFe_2O_4) are taken into account with water and kerosene as conventional base *** developed model of homogeneous-heterogeneous reactions in boundary layer flow with equal and unequal diffusivities for reactant and autocatalysis is *** governing partial differential equations are converted into system of non-linear ordinary differential equations by mean of similarity *** ordinary differential equations are integrated numerically using shooting *** effects of pertinent parameters on velocity and concentration profiles are presented graphically and *** found that in the presence of Fe_3O_4-kerosene and CoFe_2O_4-kerosene,velocity profiles increase for large values of α and β whereas there is a decrement in concentration profiles with increasing values of if and K_***,the comparison between non-magnetic(A1_2O_3) and magnetic Fe_3O_4 nanoparticles is given in tabular form.

During viral infection,immune cells coordinate the induction of inflammatory responses that clear infection and humoral responses that promote ***4^(+)T-cell differentiation sits at the center of this *** toward T-helper 1(Th1)cells mediates inflammation and pathogen clearance,while T follicular helper(Tfh)cells facilitate germinal center(GC)reactions for the generation of high-affinity antibodies and immune *** Th1 and Tfh differentiation occurs in parallel,these CD4^(+)T-cell identities are mutually exclusive,and progression toward these ends is determined via the upregulation of T-bet and Bcl6,*** lineage-defining transcription factors act in concert with multiple networks of transcriptional regulators that tip the T-bet and Bd6 axis in CD4^(+)T-cell progenitors to either a Th1 or Tfh *** is now clear that these transcriptional networks are guided by cytokine cues that are not only varied between distinct viral infections but also dynamically altered throughout the duration of ***,multiple intrinsic and extrinsic factors combine to specify the fate,plasticity,and function of Th1 and Tfh cells during ***,we review the current information on the mode of action of the lineage-defining transcription factors Bcl6 and T-bet and how they act individually and in complex to govern CD4^(+)T-cell ***,we outline the multifaceted transcriptional regulatory networks that act upstream and downstream of Bcl6 and T-bet to tip the differentiation equilibrium toward either a Tfh or Th1 fate and how these are impacted by dynamic inflammatory cues.

Cormels pieces of four Fusarium susceptible Gladiolus cultivars （Friendship, Peter Pears, Victor Borge and Novalux） formed friable calli when cultured in vitro on Murashige and Skoog basal medium containing various concentrations of auxin and cytokinin. The friable calli established cell suspensions. Plantlet regeneration was obtained from the control callus, control cell suspension derived callus and in vitro selected Fusarium oxysporum Schlecht. resistant cell-lines of Friendship. The in vitro cormlets showed 85-95% germination after breaking dormancy of 8 weeks at 4℃. Cell suspensions of all four Gladiolus cultivars were found to be highly sensitive to fusaric acid. Gradual increase in fusaric acid concentrations to the cell-suspension cultures decreased cell growth considerably. One albino plant was found from the second generation of the in vitro selected cell line of Friendship. The albino plant was found to be highly susceptible to F. oxysporum. The cormlets of all in vitro selected cell lines of Friendship were inoculated with a conidial suspension of the F. oxysporum before planting and were also sprayed with the same spore suspension for further characterization when the height of plants was about 6cm. The four selected cell lines showed the same response whether or not they were inoculated with conidia of the F. oxysporum. Plantlets of all of the selected cell lines exhibited significant growth as compared with the control after application of conidia of the F. oxysporum.

The analytical lower bound of Spectral Efficiency(SE)of downlink transmission of the Massive Multiple Input Multiple Output(Ma-MIMO)system is *** this paper,we derive some novel and approximate mathematical expressions for the lower bound of the SE of a Ma-MIMO with linear precoding schemes,i.e.,Minimum Mean Square Error(MMSE)and Zero-Forcing(ZF).For simulation analysis of the SE,we consider three joint users and antenna scheduling algorithms,namely,the semi-orthogonal,random,and distance-based user scheduling algorithms,whereas the antennas are selected based on Maximum Signal to Noise Ratio(MSNR)with scheduled *** channel between the user and the transmitter is assumed to have characteristics of Small Scale Fading(SSF)and Large Scale Fading(LSF)with the Rayleigh fading *** investigate the effect of the variation of transmitting SNR,the number of base station antennas(M),and the radius(R)of the cell area on the *** simulate the downlink transmission of Ma-MIMO and compare the simulation and analytical *** is observed that the trends of variation of both results are similar to the variation of identical factors,and the difference between the simulated and analytical lower bounds of the SE is approximately 1-1.5 *** analytical lower bound is smaller than the simulation result.

A new magnetic nanocomposite chitosan/EDTA/CeZnO(MEC-CeZnO)is synthesized as an efficient and eco-friendly bio-compound for the removal of chromium Cr(VI)metal ions and phenol organic matters from aqueous *** are characterized using field emission scanning electron microscope,energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy,transmission electron microscope,X-ray diffraction,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,diffuse reflection spectroscopy,and PL *** reduction rate of Cr(VI)ions and phenol degradation is evaluated under various experimental conditions,separately and *** average pore diameter and specific surface of MEC-CeZnO nanocomposite are obtained 50 nm and 210 m^(2)·g^(-1)respectively,which suggest the successful synthesis of the nanocomposite because of the increased surface area and reduced pores in comparison to previous ***,the best Cr(VI)and phenol reduction efficiencies are 98%and 92%at 180 min of retention time,both following the Langmuir-Hinshelwood first-order *** mechanisms of Cr(VI)and phenol removal from aqueous solutions involved Cr(VI)reduction,phenol oxidation,and *** the reusability of MEC-CeZnO showed that both degradation and recovery capacity is stable in 5 cycles.
