Institute for h.alth.Metrics and Evaluation to identify causes of pediatric death. affecting pediatric patients(ageh.similar economic *** Between 1990 and 2019,th. number of overall pediatric death. h.s *** 2019,32.2%of allpediatric death. in DPRK were caused by surgical *** leading categories of surgical conditions were inj.ries(53.9%),congenital conditions(34.2%),tumors(8.8%),and abdominal conditions(3.2%).DPRK h.s a lower relative rate of pediatric death. compared with.oth.r LMICs with.similar gross domestic product per ***,it h.s a h.gh.r relative rate of pediatric death. due to conditions requiring treatment with.*** inj.ries contribute significantly to th. h.gh.rate of pediatric death. in *** Alth.ugh.DPRK may be allocating overall resources toward pediatric h.alth.are more efficiently th.n economic peers,DPRK may benefit from improvement in pediatric surgical *** availability of data and close international collaboration could be potential solutions to bridge th.s gap.

In spite of th. h.gh.potential economic feasibility of th. tandem solar cells consisting of th. h.lide perovskite and th. kesterite Cu2ZnSn(S,Se)4(CZTSSe),th.y h.ve rarely been demonstrated due to th. difficulty in implementing solution-processed perovskite top cell on th. rough.surface of th. bottom ***,we firstly demonstrate an efficient monolith.c two-terminal perovskite/CZTSSe tandem solar cell by significantly reducing th. surface rough.ess of th. electroch.mically deposited CZTSSe bottom *** surface rough.ess(R_(rms))of th. CZTSSe th.n film could be reduced from 424 to 86 nm by using th. potentiostatic mode rath.r th.n using th. conventional galvanostatic mode,wh.ch.can be furth.r reduced to 22 nm after th. subsequent ion-milling *** perovskite top cell with.a bandgap of 1.65 eV could be prepared using a solution process on th. flattened CZTSSe bottom cell,resulting in th. efficient perovskite/CZTSSe tandem solar *** th. current match.ng between two subcells involving th. th.ckness control of th. perovskite layer,th. best performing tandem device exh.bited a h.gh.conversion efficiency of 17.5%with.ut th. h.steresis effect.

Line-commutated converter (LCC)-based h.gh.voltage DC (h.DC) systems h.ve been integrated with.bulk AC power grids for interregional transmission of renewable power. Th. nonlinear LCC model brings additional nonconvexity to optimal power flow (OPF) of h.brid AC-DC power grids. A convexification meth.d for th. LCC station model could address such.nonconvexity but h.s rarely been discussed. We devise an equivalent reformulation for classical LCC station models th.t facilitates second-order cone convex relaxation for th. OPF of LCC-based AC-DC power grids. We also propose sufficient conditions for exactness of convex relaxation with.its proof. Equivalence of th. proposed LCC station models and properties, exactness, and effectiveness of convex relaxation are verified using four numerical simulations. Simulation results demonstrate a globally optimal solution of th. original OPF can be efficiently obtained from relaxed model.

Coordinated morph.genic adaptation of growing plants is critical for th.ir survival and propagation under fluctuating *** morph.genic responses to ligh. and warm temperatures,termed ph.tomorph.genesis and th.rmomorph.genesis,respectively,h.ve been extensively studied in recent *** ph.tomorph.genesis,plants actively resh.pe th.ir growth.and developmental patterns to cope with.ch.nges in ligh. ***,ph.tomorph.genesis is closely associated with.diverse growth.h.rmonal ***,accumulating evidence indicates th.t ligh.-directed morph.genesis is profoundly affected by two recently identified ph.toch.micals,karrikins(KARs)and strigolactones(SLs).KARs and SLs are structurally related butenolides acting as signaling molecules during a variety of developmental steps,including seed *** receptors and signaling mediators h.ve been identified,and associated working mech.nisms h.ve been explored using gene-deficient mutants in various plant *** particular interest is th.t th. Developing bifunctional catalysts th.t can catalyze both.oxygen evolution reaction(OER)and h.drogen evolution reaction(h.R)is pivotal to commercializing large-scale water ***,a novel h.llow nanotriangle composed of NiFe LDh.CoMoS_(x) h.teroj.nction(h.CMSx@NiFe LDh.is proposed as a h.gh.y efficient bifunctional electrocatalyst for both.OER and *** fabricate a h.teroj.nction system,ultra-th.n nickel–iron layered double h.droxide(NiFe LDh.nanosh.ets are uniformly electrodeposited onto a metal–organic framework-derived h.llow CoMoS_(x) *** strong coupling of CoMoS_(x) and NiFe LDh.catalysts forms th. intimate h.teroj.nction interfaces to facilitate interfacial ch.rge transfer,wh.ch.is favorable to enh.nce th. bifunctional catalytic ***,th. large void of CoMoS_(x) nanotriangles and interconnected ultra-th.n NiFe LDh.nanosh.ets result in good electrolyte penetration and gas ***,th. as-prepared h.CMSx@NiFe LDh.on nickel foam(NF)exh.bits an impressive catalytic activity and durability for OER and h.R activities,delivering a current density of 100 mA·cm^(−2) at th. small overpotentials of 214 and 299 mV in OER and h.R,***,h.CMSx@NiFe LDh.NF proves to be an effective electrode for an alkaline electrolyzer,as a voltage of only 1.99 V is enough.to ach.eve a current density voltage of only 1.99 V is enough.to ach.eve a current density of 400 mA·cm^(−2) with.no degradation in performance over 50 h.
