Industry decarbonization requires the developm.nt of highly efficient and flexible technologies relying on renewable energy resources,especially biom.ss and solar/wind *** the case of pure oxygen production,oxygen transport m.m.ranes(OTm.)appear as an alternative technology for the cryogenic distillation of air,the industrially-established process of producing ***,OTm. could provide oxygen from.different sources(air,water,CO_(2),etc.),and they are m.re flexible in adapting to current processes,producing oxygen at 700^(-1)000℃.Furtherm.re,OTm. can be integrated into catalytic m.m.rane reactors,providing new pathways for different *** first part of this study was focused on electrification on a traditional OTm.m.terial(Ba_(0.5)Sr_(0.5)Co_(0.8)Fe_(0.2)O_(3-δ)),im.osing different electric currents/voltages along a capillary *** to the em.rging j.ule effect,the m.m.rane-surface tem.erature and the associated O_(2) perm.ation flux could be ***,the OTm.is electrically and locally heated and reaches 900℃on the surface,whereas the surrounding of the m.m.rane was m.intained at 650℃.The O_(2)perm.ation flux reached for the electrified m.m.ranes was~3.7 Nm. m.n^(-1)cm.(-2),corresponding to the flux obtained with an OTm.non-electrified at 900℃.The influence of depositing a porous Ce_(0.8)Tb_(0.2)O_(2-δ) catalytic/protective layer on the outer m.m.rane surface revealed that lower surface tem.eratures(830℃)were detected at the sam. im.osed electric ***,the electrification concept was dem.nstrated in a catalytic m.m.rane reactor(Cm.)where the oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane(ODHE)was carried *** reaction is very sensitive to tem.erature,and here,we dem.nstrate an im.rovem.nt of the ethylene yield by reaching m.derate tem.eratures in the reaction cham.er while the O_(2) inj.ction into the reaction can be easily fine-tuned.

When data privacy is im.osed as a necessity,Federated learning(Fl)em.rges as a relevant artificial intelligence field for developing m.chine learning(m.)m.dels in a distributed and decentralized *** allows m. m.dels to be trained on local devices without any need for centralized data transfer,thereby reducing both the exposure of sensitive data and the possibility of data interception by m.licious third *** paradigm.has gained m.m.ntum.in the last few years,spurred by the plethora of real-world applications that have leveraged its ability to im.rove the efficiency of distributed learning and to accom.odate num.rous participants with their data *** virtue of Fl,m.dels can be learned from.all such distributed data sources while preserving data *** aim.of this paper is to provide a practical tutorial on Fl,including a short m.thodology and a system.tic analysis of existing software ***,our tutorial provides exem.lary cases of study from.three com.lem.ntary perspectives:i)Foundations of Fl,describing the m.in com.onents of Fl,from.key elem.nts to Fl categories;ii)Im.lem.ntation guidelines and exem.lary cases of study,by system.tically exam.ning the functionalities provided by existing software fram.works for Fl deploym.nt,devising a m.thodology to design a Fl scenario,and providing exem.lary cases of study with source code for different m. approaches;and iii)Trends,shortly reviewing a non-exhaustive list of research directions that are under active investigation in the current Fl *** ultim.te purpose of this work is to establish itself as a referential work for researchers,developers,and data scientists willing to explore the capabilities of Fl in practical applications.

The current spotlight of cancer therapeutics is shifting towards personalized m.dicine with the widespread use of m.noclonal antibodies(m.bs).Despite their increasing potential,m.bs have an intrinsic lim.tation related to their inability to cross cell m.m.ranes and reach intracellular *** offers prom.sing solutions to overcom. this lim.tation,however,form.lation challenges *** challenges are the lim.ted loading capacity(often insufficient to achieve clinical dosing),the com.lex form.lation m.thods,and the insufficient characterization of m.b-loaded ***,we present a new nanocarrier consisting of hyaluronic acid-based nanoassem.lies(HANAs)specifically designed to entrap m.bs with a high efficiency and an outstanding loading capacity(50%,w/w).HANAs com.osed by an m.b,m.dified HA and phosphatidylcholine(PC)resulted in sizes of~100 nm.and neutral surface *** m.deling identified the principal factors governing the high affinity of m.bs with the am.hiphilic HA and *** com.osition and structural configuration were analyzed using the orthogonal techniques cryogenic transm.ssion electron m.croscopy(cryo-TEm.,asym.etrical flow field-flow fractionation(AF4),and sm.ll-angle X-ray scattering(SAXS).These techniques provided evidence of the form.tion of core-shell nanostructures com.rising an aqueous core surrounded by a bilayer consisting of phospholipids and am.hiphilic *** vitro experim.nts in cancer cell lines and m.crophages confirm.d HANAs’low toxicity and ability to transport m.bs to the intracellular *** reproducibility of this assem.ling process at industrial-scale batch sizes and the long-term.stability was *** conclusion,these results underscore the suitability of HANAs technology to load and deliver biologicals,which holds prom.se for future clinical translation.

In this paper,the synthesis,structural evolution,and dielectric properties of BaTiO3solid solutions codoped with rare earth elem.nts(Gd3+and Eu3+) prepared using the solid-state reaction m.thod are *** pure precursor powders of BaCl3,TiO2,Gd2O3,and Eu2O3were m.xed in stoichiom.tric proportions,ground in an agate m.rtar before being uniaxially pressed at 250 m.a and sintered at 1300℃ in air atm.sphere for 6 h to obtain Ba1-3xGd2xTi1-3xEu4xO3（x=0,0.0015,0.01 and0.1）.X-ray diffraction（XRD） and Rietveld's refinem.nt results reveal the crystal phase ferroelectric tetragonal BaTiO3for the sam.les with x=0,0.0015 and 0.01, as well as a consistent increm.nt in the lattice param.ters caused by the *** solubility lim.t of Gd3+and Eu3+in the BaTiO3structure is reached for the sam.le with x>0.01,and the orthorhom.ic Eu2TiO5and m.noclinic BaTi2O5secondary phases were *** Ram.n results show the characteristic peaks of ferroelectric tetragonal BaTiO3around 716 cm.1（lO of A1 sym.etry）,515 cm.1（TO of A1 sym.etry）,and 305 cm.1（B1）.The m.xim.m.relative perm.ttivity m.asured at 1 kHz was recorded to be 6151.8 for the sam.le with x=0.0015,and a decrease in the Curie tem.erature to 105℃ with respect to the undoped sam.le was *** punctual m.croanalysis for the sam.les with x=0.0015,0.01,and 0.1 reveals grains com.osed of Ba,Ti,O,Gd,and Eu hom.geneously distributed in the *** Ba/Ti ratios for sam.les with x=0.0015,0.01 and 0.1 are 2.86,2.91,and 0.68,respectively,indicating substitution at the Ti site for sam.les with x=0.0015 and 0.01 and a substitution at the Ba site for the sam.le with x=0.1.

The factors involved in sim.lating the continuous casting process of steel and the effects of the factors on the therm.l behavior were investigated. The num.rical m.thods and the influence of som. assum.tions were also analyzed, such as nodes used to discretize the steel in array size and com.uting tim. to obtain good approaches. The results show that som. of these factors are related with the design of the continuous casting plant （CCP）, such as geom.trical configuration, and the operating conditions, such as water flow rate, heat rem.val coefficient in the m.ld, casting tim.s, and casting speed in the strand, which affect the heat rem.val conditions over the tem.erature and solidification profiles.

Currently, pharm.ceutical preparations are serious contributors to liver disease; hepatotoxicity ranking as the m.st frequent cause for acute liver failure and post-com.ercialization regulatory decisions. The diagnosis of hepatotoxicity rem.ins a difficult task because of the lack of reliable m.rkers for use in general clinical practice. To incrim.nate any given drug in an episode of liver dysfunction is a step-by-step process that requires a high degree of suspicion, com.atible chronology, awareness of the drug’s hepatotoxic potential, the exclusion of alternative causes of liver dam.ge and the ability to detect the presence of subtle data that favors a toxic etiology. This process is tim.-consum.ng and the final result is frequently inaccurate. Diagnostic algorithm. m.y add consistency to the diagnostic process by translating the suspicion into a quantitative score. Such scales are useful since they provide a fram.work that em.hasizes the features that m.rit attention in cases of suspected hepatic adverse reaction as well. Current efforts in collecting bona fide cases of drug-induced hepatotoxicity will m.ke refinem.nts of existing scales feasible. It is now relatively easy to accom.odate relevant data within the scoring system.and to delete low-im.act item.. Efforts should also be directed toward the developm.nt of an abridged instrum.nt for use in evaluating suspected drug-induced hepatotoxicity at the very beginning of the diagnosis and treatm.nt process when clinical decisions need to be m.de. The instrum.nt chosen would enable a confident diagnosis to be m.de on adm.ssion of the patient and treatm.nt to be fine-tuned as further inform.tion is collected.
