Indus.ry decarbonization requires.the development of highly efficient and flexible technologies.relying on renewable energy res.urces.es.ecially biomas. and s.lar/wind *** the cas. of pure oxygen production,oxygen trans.ort membranes.OTMs.appear as.an alternative technology for the cryogenic dis.illation of air,the indus.rially-es.ablis.ed proces. of producing ***,OTMs.could provide oxygen from different s.urces.air,water,CO_(2),etc.),and they are more flexible in adapting to current proces.es.producing oxygen at 700^(-1)000℃.Furthermore,OTMs.can be integrated into catalytic membrane reactors.providing new pathways.for different *** firs. part of this.s.udy was.focus.d on electrification on a traditional OTM material(Ba_(0.5)s._(0.5)Co_(0.8)Fe_(0.2)O_(3-δ)),impos.ng different electric currents.voltages.along a capillary *** to the emerging j.ule effect,the membrane-s.rface temperature and the as.ociated O_(2) permeation flux could be ***,the OTM is.electrically and locally heated and reaches.900℃on the s.rface,whereas.the s.rrounding of the membrane was.maintained at 650℃.The O_(2)permeation flux reached for the electrified membranes.was.3.7 NmL min^(-1)cm^(-2),corres.onding to the flux obtained with an OTM non-electrified at 900℃.The influence of depos.ting a porous.Ce_(0.8)Tb_(0.2)O_(2-δ) catalytic/protective layer on the outer membrane s.rface revealed that lower s.rface temperatures.830℃)were detected at the s.me impos.d electric ***,the electrification concept was.demons.rated in a catalytic membrane reactor(CMR)where the oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane(ODHE)was.carried *** reaction is.very s.ns.tive to temperature,and here,we demons.rate an improvement of the ethylene yield by reaching moderate temperatures.in the reaction chamber while the O_(2) inj.ction into the reaction can be eas.ly fine-tuned.

Background:One of the pathological hallmarks.dis.inguis.ing Alzheimer’s.dis.as. from other dementias.is.the accumulation of amyloid beta(Aβ).Higher phys.cal activity is.as.ociated with decreas.d dementia ris.,and one potential path could be through Aβlevels.*** aimed to explore the relations.ip between phys.cal activity and Aβin middle-aged and older ***:A s.s.ematic s.arch of PubMed,Web of s.ience,Ps.cINFO,Cochrane Central Regis.er of Controlled Trials.and s.ORTDis.us.was.performed from inception to April 28,*** were eligible if they included phys.cal activity and Aβdata in adults.aged 45 years.or ***-level metaanalys.s.of intervention and obs.rvational s.udies.were performed to examine the role of phys.cal activity in modulating Aβ***:In total,37 articles.were included(8 randomized controlled trials.3 non-randomized controlled trials.4 pros.ective longitudinal s.udies.and 22 cros.-s.ctional s.udies..The overall effect s.ze of phys.cal activity interventions.on changes.in blood Aβwas.medium(pooled s.andardized mean difference=-0.69,95%confidence interval(95%CI):-1.41 to 0.03;I^(2)=74.6%).However,thes. res.lts.were not s.atis.ically s.gnificant,and there were not enough s.udies.to explore the effects.of phys.cal activity on cerebros.inal fluid(Cs.)and brain Aβ.Data from obs.rvational s.udies.were examined bas.d on meas.rements.of Aβin the brain us.ng pos.tron emis.ion tomography s.ans.Cs.,and *** phys.cal activity was.pos.tively as.ociated with Aβonly in the Cs.(Es.imate r=0.12;95%CI:0.05-0.18;I^(2)=38.00%).Conclus.on:Phys.cal activity might moderately reduce blood Aβin middle-aged and older ***,res.lts.were only near s.atis.ical s.gnificance and might be interpreted with caution given the methodological limitations.obs.rved in s.me of the included *** obs.rvational s.udies.higher levels.of phys.cal activity were pos.tively as.ociated with Aβonly in ***,further res.arch is.needed t

NO s.nthas. can als. us. Due to a complex geological and biotic his.ory,the Is.hmus.of Tehuantepec(IT),has.been long recognized as.a driver for the evolutionary divergence of numerous.lowland and highland *** dis.ributed in the lowlands.of the American continent,the White-Tipped Dove(Leptotila verreauxi)is.a polytypic s.ecies.with 13 recognized *** of thes. have been recorded in Mexico,and the dis.ribution of three abuts.at the IT,s.gges.ing a contact *** es.imate phylogenetic patterns.divergence times.and genetic differentiation,we examined two mt DNA(ND2 and COI)and one n DNA(β-fibint 7)*** als. us.d correlative ecological niche models.ENM)to as.es. whether ecological differences.acros. the IT may have acted as.a biogeographical *** es.imated paleodis.ributions.during the Middle Holocene,Las. Glacial Maximum and Las. Quantification of corneal neovas.ularization after ex vivo limbal epithelial s.em cell therapy

AIM: To as.es. cultured limbal epithelial s.em cell trans.lantation in patients.with limbal s.em cell deficiency by analyzing and quantifying corneal ***: This.retros.ective, interventional cas. s.ries.included eight eyes.with total limbal s.em cell deficiency. Ex vivo limbal epithelial s.em cells.were cultured on human amniotic membrane us.ng an animalfree culture method. The clinical parameters.of limbal s.em cell deficiency, impres.ion cytology, and quantification of corneal neovas.ularization were evaluated before and after cultured limbal s.em cell trans.lantation. The area of corneal neovas.ularization,ves.el caliber(VC), and invas.ve area(IA) were analyzed before and after s.em cell trans.lantation by image analys.s.s.ftware. Bes.-corrected vis.al acuity(BCVA),epithelial trans.arency, and impres.ion cytology were als. ***: One year after s.rgery, s.cces.ful cas.s.s.owed a reduction(improvement) of all three parameters.of corneal neovas.ularization [neovas.ular area(NA), VC, IA], while failed cas.s.did not. NA decreas.d a mean of 32.31%(P =0.035), invas.on area29.37%(P =0.018) and VC 14.29%(P =0.072). BCVA improved in all eyes.mean follow-up, 76 ±21mo).Epithelial trans.arency improved s.gnificantly from 2.00 ±0.93 to 0.88±1.25(P =0.014). Impres.ion cytology s.owed that three cas.s.failed after limbal epithelial s.em cell therapy before 1y of ***: This.method of analyzing andmonitoring s.rface ves.els.is.us.ful for evaluating the epithelial s.atus.during follow-up, as.s.cces.ful cas.s.s.owed a bigger reduction in corneal neovas.ularization parameters.than failed cas.s. Us.ng this.method,s.cces.ful cas.s.could be differentiated from failed cas.s.

This.review provides.a recompilation of the mos. important and recent s.rategies.employed to increas. the efficiency of metal-organic framework(MOF)-bas.d s.s.ems.toward the photocatalytic hydrogen evolution(PHE)reaction through s.ecific s.rategies.tailoring the photocatalytic activity of bare MOFs.and gues.@MOF compos.tes.formation of heteroj.nctions.bas.d on MOFs.and various.photocatalys.s.and inorganic photocatalys.s.derived from *** to the data reported in this.mini-review,the mos. effective s.rategy to improve the PHE of MOFs.relies.on modifying the linkers.with new s.condary building units.s.Us..Although s.veral reviews.have inves.igated the photocatalytic activity of MOFs.from a general point of view,many of thes. s.udies.relate this.activity to the phys.cochemical and catalytic properties.of ***,they did not cons.der the interactions.between the components.of the photocatalytic *** s.udy highlights.the effects.of s.rength of the s.pramolecular interactions.on the photocatalytic performance of bare and MOF-bas.d materials.during PHE.A thorough review and comparis.n of the res.lts.es.ablis.ed that metal-nanoparticle@MOF compos.tes.have weak van der Waals.forces.between components.whereas.heteros.ructures.only interact with MOFs.at the s.rface of bare *** material derivatives.from MOFs.we found that pyrolys.s.des.royed s.me beneficial properties.of MOFs.for ***,we conclude that adding s.Us.to organic linkers.is.the mos. efficient s.rategy to perform the PHE becaus. the s.Us.added to the MOFs.promote s.nergy between the two materials.through s.rong coordination bonds.
