There is a strong evidence supporting the hypothesis of synaptic dysfunction as a major contributor to neural circuit and network disruption underlying emotional and mood dysregulation in psychiatric disorders(Simmons et al.,2024).Diverse sets of distinct molecular signaling pathways converge on the synapse to regulate synaptogenesis,synaptic function,and synaptic plasticity in brain regions and circuits through complex interactions organized by numerous multivalent protein scaffolds,including the family of proteins known as A-kinase anchoring proteins(AKAPs).

Determination of the negative ion number density of O2 and O in a DC discharge of oxygen plasma was made employing langmuir probe in conjunction with eclipse laser photo- detachment technique. The temporal evolution of the extra electrons resulting from the photo- detachment of O2- and O- were used to evaluate the negative ion number density. The ratio of O2 number density to O varied from 0.03 to 0.22. Number density of both O~ and O increased with increasing power and decreased as the pressure was increased. Electron number density was evaluated from the electron energy distribution function （EEDF） using the I-V recorded characteristic curves. Electron temperature between 2 and 2.7 eV were obtained. Influence of the 02（al△g） metastable state is discussed.

On parabolic flights,the growth of ettringite,[Ca3Al(OH)6·12H2O]2·(SO4)3·2H2O,a major reaction product of cement with water which forms instantaneously,was crystallized under microgravity conditions and *** the experiments,Ca(OH)2/Al2(SO4)3 solutions were combined and reacted for 10?s,followed by immediate filtration of the suspension and subsequent quenching with *** the ettringite crystals,the size,aspect ratios,quantity and morphology were determined and the results were compared with those from identical experiments performed under terrestric *** microgravity,generally smaller crystals (l-2.9 μm) precipitated in larger amount than under normal gravity (l-3.5 μm).The aspect ratios of the crystals grown under terrestric or microgravity condition were comparable at about *** is assumed that the reason for the smaller ettringite crystals is the absence of convection leading to more initial nuclei,but slower crystal growth which is diffusion ***,no preference relative to the ion transport to the different faces of the crystals *** results contribute to the understanding of the mineralization of inorganic salts under microgravity conditions for which hitherto only a handful of examples were reported.

In this work, a direct green solid-phase reduction method for the fabrication of large yield of ordered phase Fe-Pt alloy nanoparticles was reported, in which inorganic salts were used as metal precursors and H_2-containing atmosphere was used as reducer. Utilizing this method, the composition and chemical ordered phase, such as l1_2-Fe_3 Pt, l1_2-FePt_3, and l1_0-FePt phases can be easily achieved by one step reaction. The synthesized nanoparticles have clean surface because no organic precursors, no organic solutions or organic surfactants/ligands were used. Their magnetic performance and the formation mechanism of Fe-Pt alloy nanoparticles were also investigated. This strategy can be applied to synthesize many other types of alloy nanoparticles with desired composition and necessary crystal structure, which can be used for a variety of practical applications, such as in magnetism and catalyst research fields.

Within this work,we perform a sensitivity analysis to determine the influence of the material input parameters on the pressure in an isotropic porous solid *** provide a step-by-step guide to obtain the analytical solution for a porous isotropic elastic cylinder in terms of the pressure,stresses,and elastic *** obtain the solution by performing a laplace transform on the governing equations,which are those of Biot's poroelasticity in cylindrical polar *** enforce radial boundary conditions and obtain the solution in the laplace transformed domain before reverting back to the time *** sensitivity analysis is then carried out,considering only the derived pressure *** analysis finds that the time t,Biot's modulus M,and Poisson's ratio ν have the highest influence on the pressure whereas the initial value of pressure P_(0) plays a very little role.

The formation of continents involves a combination of magmatic and metamorphic processes. These processes become indistinguishable at the crust-mantle interface, where the pressure-temperature（P-T）conditions of（ultra） high-temperature granulites and magmatic rocks are similar. Continents grow laterally, by magmatic activity above oceanic subduction zones（high-pressure metamorphic setting）, and vertically by accumulation of mantle-derived magmas at the base of the crust（high-temperature metamorphic setting）. Both events are separated from each other in time; the vertical accretion postdating lateral growth by several tens of millions of years. Fluid inclusion data indicate that during the high-temperature metamorphic episode the granulite lower crust is invaded by large amounts of low H2O-activity fluids including high-density CO2 and concentrated saline solutions（brines）. These fluids are expelled from the lower crust to higher crustal levels at the end of the high-grade metamorphic event. The final amalgamation of supercontinents corresponds to episodes of ultra-high temperature metamorphism involving large-scale accumulation of these low-water activity fluids in the lower *** accumulation causes tectonic instability, which together with the heat input from the subcontinental lithospheric mantle, leads to the disruption of supercontinents. Thus, the fragmentation of a supercontinent is already programmed at the time of its amalgamation.

The snowpack is changing across the globe,as the climate warms and *** used daily snow water equivalent(SWE)niveograph(time series of SWE)data from 458 snow telemetry(SNOTEl)stations for the period 1982 through *** indices based on amount,timing,time length,and rates were used to describe the annual temporal evolution in SWE accumulation and *** trends in these annual indices were computed over the time period for each station using the Theil-Sen *** trends were then clustered into four groups to determine the spatial pattern of SWE *** and precipitation data were extracted from the PrISM data set,due to the shorter time period of temperature measurement at the SNOTEl *** show that SNOTEl stations can be clustered in four clusters according to the observed trends in snow *** 1 stations are mostly located in the Eastern-and South-eastern most parts of the study area and they exhibit a generalized decrease in the indices related with peak SWE and snow *** stations recorded a negative trend in precipitation and an increase in *** 4 that is mostly restricted to the North and North-west of the study area shows an almost opposite pattern to cluster 1,due to months with positive trends and a more moderate increase of *** grouped in clusters 2 and 3 appear mixed with clusters 1 and 4,in general they show very little trends in the snow indices.
