The identification of jets originating from quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an important role in various analyses performed at the Large Hadron Collider,as Standard Model measurements and searches for new particles decaying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-induced *** paper describes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers developed within the ATLAS Collaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAS *** taggers with high performances in rejecting jets from gluon over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other combines several jet substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A method is established to determine the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsamples defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and simulation are provided for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for multiple tagger working points.

Infections caused by intracellular bacterial pathogens are difficult to treat since most antibiotics have low cell permeability and undergo rapid degradation within *** rapid development and dissemination of antimicrobial–resistant strains have exacerbated this *** the increasing knowledge of host–pathogen interactions,especially bacterial strategies for survival and proliferation within host cells,host-directed therapy(HDT)has attracted increased interest and has emerged as a promising antiinfection method for treating intracellular ***,we applied a cell-based screening approach to a US Food and Drug Administration(FDA)-approved drug library to identify compounds that can inhibit the intracellular replication of Salmonella Typhimurium(***).This screening allowed us to identify the antidiarrheal agent loperamide(LPD)as a potent inhibitor of *** intracellular *** treatment of infected cells markedly promoted the host autophagic response and lysosomal activity.A mechanistic study revealed that the increase in host autophagy and elimination of intracellular bacteria were dependent on the high expression of glycoprotein nonmetastatic melanoma protein b(GPNMb)induced by *** addition,LPD treatment effectively protected against *** infection in Galleria mellonella and mouse ***,our study suggested that LPD may be useful for the treatment of diseases caused by intracellular bacterial ***,LPD may serve as a promising lead compound for the development of anti-infection drugs based on the HDT strategy.

由8个推进器和6条刀锋腿混合驱动的水下机器人可在水底或水下结构物表面上行走.所提方法旨在研究这类机器人运动稳定性的评判准则,即稳定性判据.现有的稳定性判据多集中于同一机构(腿)驱动的陆地机器人,未涉及混合驱动的水下刀锋腿机器人.针对该问题,提出了基于捕获点理论的混合驱动水下刀锋腿机器人稳定性判据.首先,在建立混合驱动水下滚动倒立摆模型的基础上,利用机器人运动状态预测摆动腿和支撑腿切换瞬间机器人的动能;然后,根据推进器所能提供的推力范围,计算迫使机器人静止的捕获点变化范围,即获取捕获域;最后,根据捕获域与支撑域的空间关系,判断机器人是否稳定,并计算机器人的稳定裕度.水下实验结果表明,所提出的稳定性判据具有较好的充要性和普适性.

面向新一代无线通信的技术革新,无人机(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle,UAV)在未来通信系统中的应用越来越不可忽视。考虑传统波束管理(beam Management,bM)方法在高动态、高频段空地链路中波束对准的高额开销,设计了一种基于人工智能(Artificial Intelligence,AI)技术的bM方案。方案基于长短时记忆(Long-Short Term Memory,LSTM)网络模型,利用深度学习(Deep learning,DL)方法实现基站(base Station,bS)-UAV通信过程中的bM。以参考信号接收功率(reference Signal receive Power,rSrP)为性能指标对bM方案进行评估,基于bM历史经验数据将UAV终端轨迹划分为数个区域,训练特定的区域模型以更好地适应各区域中的信道传播环境特征。在模型部署阶段,根据区域划分结果按区域切换模型,实现基于模型切换的区域化AI-bM(Model Switching based Area-Specific AI-bM,MSAS AI-bM)。仿真结果表明,所提的MSAS AI-bM方案相比传统的简单穷举bM方案能够极大降低系统开销,拥有良好的rSrP保持性能。

DEAr EDITor,big cats,such as Amur tigers(Panthera tigris altaica)and Amur leopards(*** orientalis),are apex predator and have evolved specialized traits for hunting and carnivory(Moya et al.,2022),thus playing a crucial role in maintaining biodiversity and ecosystem integrity by regulating prey-predator ***,human-induced pressures,habitat fragmentation,and environmental alterations have restricted these species in small and isolated ***,all extant big cats are categorized as endangered or threatened according to their conservation *** tigers and Amur leopards share overlapping geographic ranges,habitats,and certain prey species in the forests of Northeast Asia(jiang et al.,2015).To reduce interspecies conflict,these carnivores exhibit differentiated dietary and temporal *** tigers predominantly prey on large ungulates,while Amur leopards hunt small to medium-sized animals(Sugimoto et al.,2016).Additionally,they occupy different temporal niches,with tigers being active at night and leopards more active during the *** spatial and temporal niche partitioning,interspecific competition between these two species is ***,benefiting from their greater size,have a competitive advantage over leopards,which can manifest in occasional leopard predation by tigers and declines in leopard populations with increasing tiger density(jiang et al.,2015).Tigers also displace leopards from marginal habitats in nature reserves where they coexist.
