Introduction of controllable deformations into periodic materials that lead to disclinations in their structure opens novel routes for construction of higher-order topological insulators hosting topological states at *** of these topological states is consistent with the bulk-disclination correspondence principle,and is due to the filling anomaly that results in fractional charges to the boundary unit *** far,topological disclination states were observed only in the linear regime,while the interplay between nonlinearity and topology in the systems with disclinations has been never studied *** report here on the experimental observation of the nonlinear photonic disclination states in waveguide arrays with pentagonal or heptagonal disclination cores inscribed in transparent optical medium using the fs-laser writing *** transition between nontopological and topological phases in such structures is controlled by the Kekulédistortion coefficient r with topological phase hosting simultaneously disclination states at the inner disclination core and spatially separated from them corner-I,corner-II,and extended edge states at the outer edge of the *** show that the robust nonlinear disclination states bifurcate from their linear counterparts and that location of their propagation constants in the gap and,hence,their spatial localization can be controlled by their *** disclination states can be efficiently excited by Gaussian input beams,but only if they are focused into the waveguides belonging to the disclination core,where such topological states *** results open new prospects for investigation of nonlinear effects in topological systems with disclinations and are relevant for different areas of science,including Bose-Einstein and polariton condensates,where potentials with the disclinations can be created.

In the paper an axiomatic approach to express rates of growth is presented. The formula is given of rate of growth at a point as the limit case of rate of growth on an interval and the inverse formula is derived to compute present and future value of capital for an integrable rate of growth. Incidentally some inconsistencies in currently used formulas are pointed out.

New viral infections,due to their rapid spread,lack of effective antiviral drugs and vaccines,kill millions of people every *** global pandemic SARS-Cov-2 in 2019-2021 has shown that new strains of viruses can widespread very quickly,causing disease and death,with significant socio-economic ***,the search for new methods of combating different pathogenic viruses is an urgent task,and strategies based on nanoparticles are of significant *** work demonstrates the antiviral adsorption(virucidal)efficacy of nanoparticles of porous silicon(PSi NPs)against various enveloped and non-enveloped pathogenic human viruses,such as Influenza A virus,Poliovirus,Human immunodeficiency virus,West Nile virus,and Hepatitis *** NPs sized 60 nm with the average pore diameter of 2 nm and specific surface area of 200 m^(2)/g were obtained by ball-milling of electrochemically-etched microporous silicon *** interaction with PSi NPs,a strong suppression of the infectious activity of the virus-contaminated fluid was observed,which was manifested in a decrease in the infectious titer of all studied types of viruses by approximately 104 times,and corresponded to an inactivation of 99.99%viruses in *** sorption capacity of PSi NPs is possible due to their microporous structure and huge specific surface area,which ensures efficient capture of virions,as confirmed by ELISA analysis,dynamic light scattering measurements and transmission electron microscopy *** results obtained indicate the great potential of using PSi NPs as universal viral sorbents and disinfectants for the detection and treatment of viral diseases.

This paper presents overview of new features so far prepared for new version of spectral analysis tool SPLAT-vO that allows to retrieve a large amount of spectra(and other data) based on its characteristics by detailed querying a virtual observatory s resources. The overview is focused on enhancements of user experience, work with simple application messaging protocol(SAMP) and other interoperability that improves work with global list of spectra, plot window and analysis menu.

A series of Sc,Y,Ce,Pr,Nd,Sm,Eu,Gd,Tb,Ho,Er,Tm and Yb complexes with oxybenzoquinoline ligands(BQ) was synthesized by the reactions of 10-hydroxybenzo[h]quinoline with cyclopentadienides or tris(trimethylsilyl)amides of rare earth *** structure,as well as the photo-and electroluminescent(PL,EL) properties of these complexes in solutions and solid state were *** solutions,complexes of sodium and lanthanides exhibit double peaked ligand-centered PL of enol and keto forms of BQ with a quantum yield of 1%-8%.In the solid state the complexes of Sm,Eu,Ho,Nd,Er,and Yb along with the ligand-centered PL also exhibit a moderate-intensity metal-centered PL which is characteristic of the corresponding Ln^(3+) ***(BQ)_(3) complex shows bright green EL which has intensity comparable to the best results observed for scandium complexes with other organic ligands.

Late Paleozoic alkaline magmatism in Western Transbaikalia,Russia:Implications for magma sources and tectonic settings

This paper presents the results of geochronological(40Ar-39Ar,U-Pb SHRIMP Ⅱ),petrological and geochemical studies of the Late Paleozoic complexes of alkaline rocks(Zimovechinsky,Tuchinsky and Koma) located within the vitim Plateau(the western part of the Mongol-Okhotsk Orogenic Belt).The rocks were formed at 310-280 *** is coeval with Late Paleozoic magmatism within the Central Asian Orogenic *** εNd(T) values show large variations from-2.1 to +3.3 as well as the initial Sr(I) isotopic ratios from 0.7042 to 0.7138,that demonstrate strong isotopic heterogeneity of the magmatic *** geochemical characteristics of the rocks show pronounced positive Pb and negative Ti,Zr-Hf anomalies that can be explained by involvement of the subducted component in primary *** rocks intruded in a setting of extension at the active continental margin of the Siberian Craton during subduction of Mongol-Okhotsk oceanic crust under the Siberian Craton.

Complex investigation of mesh implants was per formed involving laser confocal microscopy,backscattered probing and OCT imaging *** growth of endomysium and fat tissue with microcirculation vessels was observed in the mesh encapsulation *** microscopy analysis shows that such pat hologies complications such as necrosis formation and microcavities were localized in the area near implant fibers with the size compatible with fiber *** the number of such formnations increase with the increase of the size,number and density of microdefects on the implant *** of mumerical sinulations show that it is possible to control implant installation up to the depth to 4mm with a help of bac kscattering *** applicability of OCT imaging for mesh implant control was *** two stage OCT image noise reduction algorithm,including empirical mode decomposition,was proposed for contrast increase and better abnormalities visualization by halving the signal-to-noise *** usage of backscattered probing and OCT allows to accurately ascertain implant and surrounding tissue conditions,which reduces the risk of relapse probability.

Recent discoveries of intrinsic two-dimensional(2D)magnets open up vast opportunities to address fundamental problems in condensed matter physics,giving rise to applications from ultra-compact spintronics to quantum *** ever-growing material landscape of 2D magnets lacks,however,carbon-based systems,prominent in other areas of 2D *** measurements of the Eu/graphene compound-a monolayer of the EuC_(6) stoichiometry-reveal the emergence of 2D ferromagnetism but detailed studies of competing magnetic states are still ***,we employ element-selective X-ray absorption spectroscopy(XAS)and magnetic circular dichroism(XMCD)to establish the magnetic structure of monolayer *** system exhibits the anomalous Hall effect,negative magnetoresistance,and magnetization consistent with a ferromagnetic state but the saturation magnetic moment(about 2.5/%/Eu)is way too low for the half-filled f-shells of Eu^(2+)*** XAS/XMCD studies at the Eu L3 absorption edge probe the EuC6 magnetism in high fields and reveal the nature of the missing magnetic *** results are set against XMCD studies in Eu/silicene and Eu/germanene to establish monolayer EuC6 as a prominent member of the family of Eu-based 2D magnets combining the celebrated graphene properties with a strong magnetism of europium.
