ZnO nanoparticles(nps)among metal oxide(MOs)are proven to be essential electron transporting layers(ETLs)applied in organic solar cells(OSCs).However,intrinsic defects,interfacial charge recombination,and catalytic behavior towards the active layer restrict the applications of ZnO nps for efficient and long-term stable *** commonly available biomolecule cytidine 5'-monophosphate(CMP-OH)with phosphonic acid,its salt cytidine 5'-monophosphate disodium salt(CMP-ONa)with a phosphate group as an anchoring group and conjugated terminal functional in both analogous molecules provide carrier transfer bridge at bottom interface of the active *** theoretical investigations and characterizations have discovered the multi-site coordination of CMP-OH towards acceptor molecules and ZnO *** dual-side alignment of CMP analogous molecules hinders interfacial charge recombination and enhances charge transfer potential at ***,PM6:L8-BO-based OSCs with modified ETL obtain 18.13%efficiency,12%higher than that of unmodified *** higher efficiency,CMP-OH-based OSC devices illustrate remarkably improved thermal stability for 500 h at 85℃with 72%of initial PCE and operation stability for 2000 h with 90.1%of initial *** work reveals the passivation mechanism of multi-anchoring groups towards MOs and single-functional groups towards the active layer to optimize the interface for efficient and highly stable OSCs.

Background: A major cause of mortality and disability on a global scale is myocardial infarction (MI). These days, the most reliable way to detect and measure MI is via cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (CMR). Aims and Objectives: To evaluate the effectiveness of the Electrocardiogram DETERMINE Score in predicting the severity of coronary artery disease (CAD) in patients who have experienced an Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI) & to assess improvements in left ventricular function at 6 months following coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). Subjects and Methods: This Observational cohort study was done at the Cardiology and Radiology department and cardiac surgery department, Al-Azhar university hospitals and Helwan University hospital. The study involved 700 cases who patients diagnosed with Acute Myocardial Infarction and fulfilled specific criteria for selection. Result: There was highly statistically significant relation between Myocardial infarction size and ECG Marker Score as mean infarct size elevated When the number of ECG markers increased. There was a highly statistically significant relation between myocardial infarct segments, myocardial infarction size and improvement of cardiac function 6 months post-CABG. Conclusion: The study found that larger myocardial infarctions corresponded with higher DETERMINE Scores. It concluded that an ECG-based score better estimates infarct size than LVEF alone. Additionally, there was a significant statistical correlation between the size and segmentation of myocardial infarction and better cardiac function six months after CABG.

Objective: The great saphenous vein (GSV) is commonly used as a conduit for grafting during CABG surgery, and open GSV harvesting (OVH), commonly used with long incision to expose the vein. However, endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) is an alternative approach, utilizing specialized instruments and small incisions to harvest the vein. Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on a cohort of patients who underwent Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) requiring great saphenous vein (GSV) harvesting which was done by EVH or OVH procedures. Demographic variables, including age and gender, were assessed for both groups. Intraoperative variables such as the number of grafts, cardiopulmonary bypass time, X clamp time, and type of procedure were analyzed. Postoperative variables, including infection and bleeding rates, were also evaluated. Results: The study included 30 patients each undergoing Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) with need of great saphenous vein harvesting which was done by EVH and OVH. Demographic variables were well-matched between the two groups in terms of age, while a significant difference in gender distribution was observed. Obesity and smoking were more prevalent in the OVH group, and EVH was associated with a higher mean number of grafts compared to OVH. Conversion to an open technique occurred in a portion of the EVH cases, and infection rates did not significantly differ between the EVH and OVH groups. However, the incidence of postoperative bleeding was significantly higher in the EVH group. Conclusion: This study provides valuable insights into the demographic, intraoperative, and postoperative variables associated with EVH and OVH techniques. EVH demonstrated advantages in terms of reduced infection rates compared to OVH. However, the higher incidence of postoperative bleeding associated with EVH raises concerns about potential risks.

Infrared absorption spectra of orange, black and transferred Sb//2S//3 samples have been studied in the spectral range 200-4000 cm** minus **1. The pronounced difference between the different samples is the appearance of excess sulphur present in the orange and transferred samples except those of transferred at 543 K and the black Sb//2S//3. The change of sharpness of some IR peaks reveals the amorphous/crystalline change. The effect of the degree of crystallinity and stoichiometry on the energy gap values was investigated by using optical method. The obtained dielectric parameters epsilon prime and epsilon double prime of the different samples are thoroughly affected by the degree of crystallinity and smoothly affected by either the frequency or the temperature or both, except at lower frequencies. Production of peaches(Prunus persica(L.)Batsch)for both local market and export is increasing each year in *** rot disease,caused by Monilinia laxa and Monilinia fructigena,is considered one of the most important postharvest rots affecting peaches in Egypt and economic losses are *** activity of glycyrrhizic acid nanoparticles(GA-NPs)and glycyrrhizic acid(GA)at 0.2 and 0.4 mmol/L was investigated as a control for both these brown rot pathogens on peach fruits in both in vitro and in vivo *** the in vitro studies,GA-NPs were the most effective as shown by the ability to decrease linear growth of both brown rot pathogens in potato dextrose agar(PDA)amended with 0.4 mmol/L *** of *** exposed to 0.4 mmol/LGA showed mycelial deformations,nodule formation,detachment of the cell wall,shrinkage and inhomogeneous cytoplasmic materials with large *** of *** exposed to 0.4 mmol/LGA-NPs resulted in thinner and distorted hyphae,nodule formation,cell wall thinning,and *** GANPs and GA treatments improved fruit quality by maintaining firmness and total soluble solids(TSS).GA-NPs were more effective in decreasing decay incidence than their bulk *** 0.4 mmol/L GA-NPs completely inhibited the disease on naturally infected peach fruits for both seasons of 2018 and ***,0.4 mmol/L GA-NPs reduced the disease incidence in inoculated fruits by 95(***)and 88%(***)in 2018 season and 96(***)and 85%(***)in 2019 *** conclusion,GA-NPs could enhance the resistance of peaches against brown rot caused by *** and ***.

描述了一种新颖、简便的合成含五齿配位基的大环席夫碱配体的方法,制备和表征了该席夫碱的1∶1包合物。用化学和光谱学方法测定了标题配合物的组成,认为在所有配合物中配位金属原子取八面体结构。数据表明:配体起O2N4六齿结构而每个环绕金属原子在八面体环境中。配合物的红外和1H NMR光谱符合中心金属原子的配位结果。用分光光度法测定了配合物的稳定常数。用共轭余量法(CR method)计算了在热分解的不同阶段配合物活化的动力学和热力学参数。此外,用抑菌圈直径法筛选了配体及其金属配合物抑制细菌和真菌的能力。用回收率试验研究了天然螯合配体在不同天然水体中对Fe(Ⅲ)离子配合作用的影响。

Second-order Born calculations are performed to investigate the triple differential cross sections of coplanar asymmetric laser-assisted （e, 2e） collisions for hydrogen and helium targets. The incident electron is considered to be dressed by the laser field in a nonperturbative manner by choosing the Volkov solutions in both the initial and final channels. Detailed calculations of the scattering amplitudes are performed using the Sturmian basis expansion. The state of the ejected electron is described by a Coulomb-Volkov wave function. Two geometries are investigated in which the laser polarization vector is either parallel to the incident momentum of the projectile or parallel to the momentum transfer. Our numerical results show that, in the low energy range, these two laser polarization orientations give the same shape and the same order of magnitude of laser-assisted ionization cross sections of helium and hydrogen targets.

Dermatomal Somatosensory Evoked Potentials: An Indicator of Improvement of Breast Sensibility after Reduction Mammaplasty

Introduction: Many women think about reduction mammaplasty for different reasons. The effect of surgery on the beast sensibility is one of the greatest concerns after reconstructive reductive breast surgery through its affect on patient’s social life and psychological health. The dermatomal somatosensory evoked potential (D-SEP) is a new method to quantitatively evaluate breast sensibility. Patients and Methods: Twenty-five women enrolled in this study presenting with breast enlargement, underwent mammary reduction by using the inferior pyramidal breast reduction technique using the same operative technique described by Robbins with some modifications. All D-SEP amplitudes and latencies were calculated preoperatively and then were reassessed six and twelve months post-surgery in each breast. Result: The results revealed that there is a significant difference in the D-SEP latency pre- and post-operatively. The statistically significant decrease in latency and the breast size demonstrated indicates that the sensibility improved after breast reduction surgery both at six and twelve months. There is also a significant increase in the D-SEP amplitude pre- and post-operatively. The negative and statistically significant increase in amplitude with the decrease in breast size demonstrated indicates that the sensibility improved after breast reduction surgery both at six and twelve months. Conclusion: This study concluded that breast sensibility will improve after breast reduction as indicated by significant reduction of D-SEP latencies and increase of its amplitudes. Our results confirm an inverse relationship between breast size and sensibility, with improvement in sensibility after breast reduction.
