High-performance and Multi-functional Control of Transformerless Single-phase Smart inverter for Grid-connected PV System

Highly reliable and flexible control is required for distributed generation(DG) to efficiently connect to the *** inverters play a key role in the control and integration of DG into the power grid and provide advanced functionalities. in this paper, an energy-based single-phase voltage-source smart inverter(SPV-SSi) of 5 k VA is designed and analyzed in detail. SPV-SSi is capable of supplying the power to local load and the utility load up to the rated capacity of the inverter, injecting the power into the grid, storing the energy in lead-acid battery bank, controlling the voltage at the point of common coupling(PCC) during voltage sags or faults, and making decisions on real-time pricing information obtained from the utility grid through advanced metering. The complete design of smart inverter in dq frame, bi-directional DC-DC buck-boost converter, iEEE standard 1547 based islanding and recloser, and static synchronous compensator(STATCOM) functionalities is presented in this paper. Moreover, adaptive controllers, i. e., fuzzy proportional-integral(F-Pi) controller and fuzzy-sliding mode controller(F-SMC) are designed. The performances of F-Pi controller and F-SMC are superior, stable, and robust compared with those of conventionally tuned Pi controllers for voltage control loop(islanded mode) and current control loop(grid-connected mode).

COViD-19 has created a panic all around the *** is a contagious dis-ease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),originated from Wuhan in December 2019 and spread quickly all over the *** healthcare sector of the world is facing great challenges tackling COViD *** of the problems many have witnessed is the misdiagnosis of COViD-19 cases with that of healthy and pneumonia *** this article,we propose a deep Convo-lutional Neural Network(CNN)based approach to detect COViD+(i.e.,patients with COViD-19),pneumonia and normal cases,from the chest X-ray ***-19 detection from chest X-ray is suitable considering all aspects in compar-ison to Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction(RT-PCR)and Computed Tomography(CT)*** deep CNN models including VGG16,inceptionV3,DenseNet121,DenseNet201 and inceptionResNetV2 have been adopted in this pro-posed *** have been trained individually to make particular *** results demonstrate that DenseNet201 provides overall better performance with accuracy,recall,F1-score and precision of 94.75%,96%,95%and 95%*** careful comparison with results available in the literature,we have found to develop models with a higher *** the studies were carried out using a publicly available chest X-ray(CXR)image data-set.

Structural, Dielectric, and Magnetic Properties of Ba-Doped Multiferroic Bismuth Ferrite

The main focus of the research was to correlate the microstructure with dielectric and magnetic properties of Bi1-xBaxFeO3 samples. Bi1-xBaxFeO3 samples（x = 0.1, 0.2 and 0.3） were synthesized by the conventional solid-state reaction method using nano-powders of Bi2O3, Fe2O3, and BaCO3. Thereafter, field emission scanning electron microscope and X-ray diffraction（XRD） techniques were used to examine the structure and phase of the samples. Phase analysis by XRD indicated that the single-phase perovskite structure was formed with possible increment in lattice parameter with increasing Ba doping. Complex permeability（u＇iand u＇＇i） measured using impedance analyzer confirmed the increase in magnetic property with increasing Ba doping. Finally, dielectric constant（k） was analyzed as a function of temperature at different frequencies. Dielectric constant as high as 2900 was attained in this research for Bi0.8Ba0.2FeO3 sample due to reduction in leakage current at this composition.

An improved iBAT-COOP Protocol for Cooperative Diversity in FANETs

Flying ad hoc networks(FANETs)present a challenging environment due to the dynamic and highly mobile nature of the *** network topology and uncertain node mobility structure of FANETs do not aim to consider only one path *** different techniques are adopted to address the issues arising in FANETs,from game theory to clustering to channel estimation and other statistical *** approaches mostly employ traditional concepts for problem *** of the novel approaches that provide simpler solutions to more complex problems is to use biologically inspired *** Nature-inspired schemes address cooperation and alliance which can be used to ensure connectivity among network *** such species that resembles the dynamicity of FANETs are *** this paper,the biologically inspired metaheuristic technique of the BAT Algorithm is proposed to present a routing protocol called iBATCOOP(improved BAT Algorithm using Cooperation technique).We opt for the design implementation of the natural posture of bats to handle the necessary flying ***,we envision the concept of cooperative diversity using multiple relays and present an iBAT-COOP routing protocol for *** paper employs cooperation for an optimal route selection and reflects on distance,Signal to Noise Ratio(SNR),and link conditions to an efficient level to deal with FANET’s *** way of simulations,the performance of iBAT-COOP protocol outperforms BAT-FANET protocol and reduces packet loss ratio,end-to-end delay,and transmission loss by 81%,21%,and 82%***,the average link duration is improved by 25%compared to the BAT-FANET protocol.

Plant extract-loaded bacterial cellulose composite membrane for potential biomedical applications

Bacterial cellulose(BC)has been extensively explored as biomaterial for various biomedical applications owing to its non-toxic nature and unique structural morphology and impressive physicochemical and mechanical ***,its high production cost and lack of antimicrobial activity have restricted its large-scale production and therapeutic ***,the current study is aimed to devise a strategy for low-cost BC production and develop its composite with bioactive materials to bless it with antimicrobial ***,5 mm thick reticulated fibrous and highly porous BC was produced by utilizing the wasted rotten tomatoes as the production *** produced bacterial cellulose waste(BCW)(i.e.,produced from wastes)was ex-situ modified with bioactive plant extract(PE)obtained from Euclea schimperi,and the bactericidal activity of the developed BCW/PE was evaluated against Gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus and Gram-negative Escherichia coli through disc diffusion and colony forming unit(CFU)count *** BCW/PE composite showed high bactericidal activities against *** and produced clear inhibition zone whereas negligible activity was observed against ***,indicating its bactericidal activity mainly against the Gram-positive ***,this study illustrates that there is a huge potential for developing valuable biomaterials from food wastes and utilizing their liquid holding capabilities for value-added applications in medical and pharmaceutical fields.

Parameter Estimation in Logistic Regression for Transition, Reverse Transition and Repeated Transition from Repeated Outcomes

Covariate dependent Markov models dealing with estimation of transition probabilities for higher orders appear to be restricted because of over-parameterization. An improvement of the previous methods for handling runs of events by expressing the conditional probabilities in terms of the transition probabilities generated from Markovian assumptions was proposed using Chapman-Kolmogorov equations. Parameter estimation of that model needs extensive pre-processing and computations to prepare data before using available statistical softwares. A computer program developed using SAS/iML to estimate parameters of the model are demonstrated, with application to Health and Retirement Survey (HRS) data from USA.

Atrial Electromechanical Delay in Healthy individuals in Fasting and Postprandial States

Background: Atrial Electro-Mechanical Delay (AEMD) has been defined as the delay between the electrical stimulation and mechanic contractility that may be attributed to several abnormalities in the atria. it is associated with atrial remodeling that finally leads to atrial fibrillation (AF). Methods: Fifty five subjects were enrolled in this descriptive observational cross sectional study, (mean age was 33.27 ± 7.49 years, 33 males). All patients were evaluated by precise history taking, clinical examination, twelve lead surface electrocardiography (ECG). ECG gated Echocardiography with measurement of atrial electromechanical coupling (PA), left atrial intra-AEMD over a period of 1 year from July 2017 to July 2018 in Mansoura specialized medical hospital. Results: it was found that PA lateral (50.98 ± 8.07 vs. 50.38 ± 7.47 msec, p 0.026), PA Septal (34.87 ± 6.33 vs. 34.16 ± 6.32 msec, p 0.003) and, left intra-AEMD (PA lateral–PA Septal) (16.72 ± 7.34 vs. 16.21 ± 6.57 msec, p 0.01), values were higher in post prandial condition than in fasting state. Conclusion: Determining electromechanical intervals as the atrial conduction interval with transthoracic echocardiography is a simple, easy bedside method to be evaluated. PA lateral, PA septal and left atrium EMD are prolonged in postprandial condition than during fasting and it may be predictor of occurrence of postprandial palpitation and hidden atrial fibrillation.

A Highly Secured image Encryption Scheme using Quantum Walk and Chaos

The use of multimedia data sharing has drastically increased in the past few decades due to the revolutionary improvements in communication technologies such as the 4th generation(4G)and 5th generation(5G)*** have proposed many image encryption algorithms based on the classical random walk and chaos theory for sharing an image in a secure *** of the classical random walk,this paper proposes the quantum walk to achieve high image *** random walk exhibits randomness due to the stochastic transitions between states,on the other hand,the quantum walk is more random and achieve randomness due to the superposition,and the interference of the wave *** proposed image encryption scheme is evaluated using extensive security metrics such as correlation coefficient,entropy,histogram,time complexity,number of pixels change rate and unified average intensity *** experimental results validate the proposed scheme,and it is concluded that the proposed scheme is highly secured,lightweight and computationally *** the proposed scheme,the values of the correlation coefficient,entropy,mean square error(MSE),number of pixels change rate(NPCR),unified average change intensity(UACi)and contrast are 0.0069,7.9970,40.39,99.60%,33.47 and 10.4542 respectively.

The discovery of microRNAs （miRNAs） is one of tbe most significant breakthroughs in recent decades, miRNAs are a class of small, endogenous, non-coding RNAs （19-24 nt） that negatively regulate the expression of target genes by binding to their 3＇ untranslated region and are involved in various biological processes.
