in this research,influence of adding Li_(2)CO_(3)(at 0%,2%,4%,6%)on electrical and magnetic properties of Ni_(0.6)Mg_(0.4)Fe_(2)O_(4)(with 60%Ni and 40%Mg)ferrite has been *** samples are prepared by solid state reaction method and sintered at 1300℃ for 6 h.X-ray diffraction(XRD)patterns show the samples belong to single-phase cubic structure without any impurity *** magnetic properties(saturation magnetization and coercivity)of the samples have been investigated by VSM and found that the higher concentration of Li_(2)CO_(3)reduces the hysteresis *** resistivity increases with Li_(2)CO_(3)contents whereas it decreases initially and then becomes constant at lower value with temperature which indicates that the studied samples are *** dielectric dispersion occurs at a low-frequency regime and the loss peaks are formed in a higher frequency regime,which are due to the presence of resonance between applied frequency and hopping frequency of charge ***,the loss peaks are shifted to the lower frequency with Li_(2)CO_(3)additions.

Soil total organic carbon(TOC)is a composite indicator of soil quality with implications for crop production and the regulation of soil ecosystem *** reports on the dynamics of TOC as a consequence of soil management practices in subtropical climatic conditions,where microbial carbon(C)loss is high,are very *** objective of our study was to evaluate the impact of seven years of continuous tillage and residue management on soil TOC dynamics(quantitative and qualitative)with respect to lability and stratification under an annual wheat-mung bean-rice cropping *** soil samples were collected at 0-15 and 15-30 cm depths from a three-replicate split-plot experiment with tillage treatment as the main plots and crop residue levels as the *** tillage treatments included conventional tillage(CT)and strip tillage(ST).Residue levels were high residue level(HR),30%of the plant height,and low residue level(LR),15%.in addition to TOC,soil samples were analyzed for particulate organic C(POC),permanganate oxidizable C(POXC),basal respiration(BR),specific maintenance respiration rate(qCO_(2)),microbial biomass C(MBC),potentially mineralizable C(PMC),and TOC lability and management *** ST treatment significantly increased the TOC and labile C pools at both depths compared with the CT treatment,with the effect being more pronounced in the surface *** HR treatment increased TOC and labile C pools compared with the LR *** ST+HR treatment showed significant increases in MBC,metabolic quotient(qR),C pool index(CPi),C lability index(CL_(i)),and C management index(CMi),indicating improved and efficient soil biological activities in such systems compared with the CT ***,the stratification values,a measure of soil quality improvement,for POC and MBC were>2,indicating improved soil quality in the ST+HR treatment compared with the CT *** ST+HR treatment not only significantly increased the contents o

Temperature affects the structural response of asphalt concrete(AC) pavement To evaluate the performance,it is important to accurately predict the pavement surface *** study develops three regression models to determine the surface temperature of an asphalt pavement using field measured data such as air temperature,wind speed,wind direction,relative humidity,and solar *** models namely,24-h model,day-time model and night-time model were developed based on one-year continuous *** weather data were measured from October 2012 to October 2013 at an instrumented pavement section on interstate i-40 near Albuquerque,New *** developed regression models were validated using October 2014 to June 2015 weather data,which were not used in developing the regression *** temperatures predicted using the developed regression models were then compared to those predicted using the pavement mechanistic-empirical(ME) software’s default *** is observed that the regression models are better predictors of pavement surface temperatures than the ME default models.A parametric study was also performed in this study to identify the effects of weather parameters on the pavement surface temperature *** authors of this study expect that this study will be useful in pavement design especially in cold regions.

Objective:To explore cytotoxic activity of ethanol extract of Alpinia calcarata Rose(EEAC) rhizome against Ehiiich ascites carcinoma(EAC) tumor bearing Swiss Albino ***: in the present study,its anti-neoplastic activity has been studied by monitoring parameters like tumor weight measurement,survival time,tumor cell growth inhibition,haematological characteristics ***:it was found that EEAC at dose 8 mg/kg/day(i.p.) significantly decreased tumor weight(62.0%;Pincreased life span(70.25%;P in comparison to those of EAC bearing *** plant extract also improved the depleted haematological parameters like RBC WBC,Hb%,differential counts(***,neutrophils,monocytes etc) of EAC bearing mice towards *** host toxic effects were not very high and recovered gradually towards normal within a few days after ***:EEAC exhibits potent in vivo cytotoxic activity against EAC tumor bearing Swiss Albino ***,the plant can be considered as a probable new source of antitumor agents.

A new covariate dependent zero-truncated bivariate Poisson model is proposed in this paper employing generalized linear model. A marginal-conditional approach is used to show the bivariate model. The proposed model with estimation procedure and tests for goodness-of-fit and under (or over) dispersion are shown and applied to road safety data. Two correlated outcome variables considered in this study are number of cars involved in an accident and number of casualties for given number of cars.
