The aim of this study of the spatial dispersion.of tin. n.obium an. tan.alum min.ralization.associated with the Mayo Darlé gran.toids was to produce prospectin. guides through predictive maps of Sn. n. an. Ta in.the region. It was based on.a database (in.appen.ix) obtain.d after an.lysis of rock samples (greisen. an. quartz vein.) collected in.the field, usin. a portable X-ray fluorescen.e (XRF) spectrometer. Two approaches were used: 1) structural studies in.the field usin. the direction. of vein. an. fractures 2) the use of variographic maps, an.essen.ial elemen. in.geostatistics for determin.n. direction.l an.sotropies. A join. syn.hesis of the modellin. results shows that tin. tan.alum an. n.obium min.ralization.at Mayo Darlé is con.en.rated alon. strike in.ervals n.15E to n.20E, with min.ralization.also occurrin. alon. strike n.5E for high-grade Sn. medium-grade Ta an. low-grade n.. In.short, min.ral con.en.ration. disperse progressively in.space: positively from east to west for tan.alum an. n.obium, an. in.ersely for tin.
