AIM：To compare the potential protective effects of epigallocatechin gallate（EGCG） and ellagic acid（EA） in an experimental cataract model.●METHODS：Twenty-eight Spraque-Dawley rat pups were assigned into four *** the rats,except for those in the control group,were injected subcutaneously sodium selenite to induce experimental cataract on the postpartum ninth day,and between 10 th and 14 th *** in the sham,EGCG,and EA groups were intraperitoneally administered 50 mg/（kg·d） saline solution,50 mg/（kg·d） EGCG and 200 mg/（kg·d） EA,*** reduced glutathione（GSH） and malondialdehyde（MDA） levels,total antioxidant status（TAS） and total oxidant status（TOS） in lens supernatants were ***：The mean cataract gradings in EGCG and EA groups were found to be significantly lower than that in sham group（P〈0.001）.The mean GSH levels and TASs in EGCG and EA groups were significantly higher than that in sham group while mean MDA levels and TOSs in EGCG and EA groups were significantly lower than that in the sham group（P〈0.001）.CONCLUSION：EGCG and EA have protective effects on cataract development via the inhibition of oxidative stress.

以某长大框架箱涵施工项目为依托,通过实验数据,分析研究了长大框架箱涵温度裂缝控制技术。采用在长大框架箱涵混凝土浇筑过程中设置监测点并实测其温度,再利用ANSYS有限元软件建立长大框架混凝土箱涵有限元模型进行混凝土温度应力场的模拟分析,总结出长大框架混凝土箱涵浇筑温度应力场的变化规律。通过改变长大框架箱涵混凝土入模温度、伸缩缝间距等因素,对长大框架混凝土箱涵最大温度梯度、最大位移及最大拉应力进行分析。结果表明:现场实测温度值与模拟得到的温度结果的变化规律基本一致;随着混凝土入模温度的升高,长大框架箱涵混凝土最大拉应力和最大位移均随之增大;从长大框架箱涵混凝土裂缝控制角度出发,可将30~35 m作为长大框架箱涵混凝土的合理伸缩缝间距。根据模拟结果制定的现场控制裂缝措施,有效控制了混凝土结构的裂缝产生,取得了良好的实际效果。

Geochemistry and geochronology of Late Jurassic and Early Cretaceous intrusions related to some Au(Sb) deposits in southern Anhui: a case study and review

Some Au deposits in southern Anhui Province have recently been found to be closely associated with Late Mesozoic intrusions. Typical examples include the Huashan Au(Sb) deposit and Au deposits at Zhaojialing, Wuxi,and Liaojia. In order to understand the mechanisms that led the formation of these Au deposits, we make detailed reviews on the geological characteristics of these Au deposits. Specifically, we present new LA-ICP-MS zircon U–Pb dating, along with elemental and Hf isotopic data from the Huashan Au(Sb) deposit. Our data suggests that the Huashan ore-related intrusions were emplaced during the Late Jurassic and Early Cretaceous periods(144–148 Ma). They are characterized by arc-magma features and high oxygen fugacity and are rich in inherited zircons. Zircon U–Pb ages and Lu–Hf isotopes from intrusions suggest that Proterozoic juvenile lithosphere is the main source of these intrusions. The regional geological history implies that lithosphere beneath southern Anhui was produced during a Proterozoic subduction and was fertilized with Au(Cu) in the process. Integrated with theresults of previous studies, we inferred that Late Mesozoic intrusions formed by the remelting of the lithosphere could provide the metal endowment for the Au-rich deposits in southern Anhui.

This paper focuses on the denoising of phonocardiogram (PCG) signals by means of discrete wavelet transform (DWT) using different wavelets and noise level estimation methods. The signal obtained by denoising from PCG signal contaminated white noise and the original PCG signal is compared to determine the appropriate parameters for denoising. The comparison is evaluated in terms of signal to noise ratio (SNR) before and after denoising. The results showed that the decomposition level is the most important parameter determining the denoising quality.

Remarkable catalysis of spinel ferrite XFe2O4(X=Ni,Co,Mn,Cu,Zn)nanoparticles on the dehydrogenation properties of LiAlH_(4):An experimental and theoretical study

We describe a complex geologic model as an aggregate of arbitrarily shaped blocks separated by cubic splines in 2D and triangulated interfaces in 3D. Recently we have introduced a segmentary iterative ray-tracing(SIRT) method based on Fermat’s principle of stationary travel time,which has been documented to be robust and fast for a complex block model with a constant velocity defined in each *** this work,we extend the constant velocity to a generally continuous distribution with an analytical expression of travel time,and develop SIRT in the redefined velocity *** a three-point perturbation scheme,SIRT requires an explicit analytical travel time between two intersection points expressed as a function of coordinates of the two *** these situations,we derive a general midpoint perturbation formula,and further a detailed perturbation formula for familiar media with a constant velocity *** is a scheme in which we perturb the intersection points of an initial-guess ray path in sequence by the first-order explicit formulas instead of using traditional iterative methods.A key consideration is the fact that the number of intersection points may be variable during the iteration *** tests demonstrate that SIRT is effective in implementing kinematic two-point ray tracing in complex 2D and 3D heterogeneous media.

Safe,compact,lightweight and cost-effective hydrogen storage is one of the main challenges that need to be addressed to effectively deploy the hydrogen ***_(4),as a solid-state hydrogen storage material,presents several advantages such as high hydrogen storage capacity,low price and abundant ***,neither thermodynamic nor kinetic properties of dehydrogenation for LiAlH_(4)can fulfill the requirements of practical ***,a series of spinel ferrite nanoparticles such as XFe_(2)O_(4)(X=Ni,Co,Mn,Cu,Zn,Fe)were prepared by using the modified thermal decomposition method,and then doped into LiAlH_(4)by using ball *** results show that LiAlH_(4)doped with 7 wt%NiFe_(2)O_(4)starts to release hydrogen at 69.1°C,and the total amount of hydrogen released is 7.29 wt%before 300°*** activation energies of the two-step hydrogen release reactions of LiAlH_(4)doped with 7 wt%NiFe_(2)O_(4)are 42.32 kJ mol^(-1)and 71.42 k J mol,which are 59.0%and 63.6%lower than those of as-received LiAlH_(4),*** the density functional theory(DFT)calculations,we reveal that both the presence of Ni FeOand in-situ formed AlNiin ball-milling decrease the desorption energy barrier of Al-H bonding in LiAlH_(4)and accelerate the breakdown of Al-H bonding through the interfacial charge transfer and the dehybridization of the Al-H ***,the experimental and theoretical results open a new avenue toward designing high effective catalysts applied to LiAlH_(4)as a candidate for hydrogen storage.

InAs nanowires have been actively explored as the channel material for high performance transistors owing to their high electron mobility and ease of ohmic metal contact *** catalytic growth of nonepitaxial InAs nanowires,however,has often relied on the use of Au colloids which is non-CMOS ***,we demonstrate the successful synthesis of crystalline InAs nanowires with high yield and tunable diameters by using Ni nanoparticles as the catalyst material on amorphous SiO_(2) *** nanowires show superb electrical properties with field-effect electron mobility~2700 cm^(2)/Vs and ION/IOFF>10^(3).The uniformity and purity of the grown InAs nanowires are further demonstrated by large-scale assembly of parallel arrays of nanowires on substrates via the contact printing process that enables high performance,“printable”transistors,capable of delivering 510 mA ON currents(~400 nanowires).
