Background and objectives.An auricular ps.udocys. is.not uncommon in routine ENT clinical practice,it occurs.when fluid accumulates.between the intracartilaginous.s.aces.of the *** treatment modalities.have been propos.d s.ch as.incis.on and drainage of the cys.,s.mple needle as.iration,tight bandaging with dental rolls.however recurrence and cos.etic problems.are s.ill noted in s.me *** aim of this.article was.to dis.us. our experience of s.rgical treatment of intractable auricular ps.udocys.s.with mars.pialis.tion,deroofing and anterior cartilage leaflet removal along with compres.ion s.ture *** and methods.Twenty patients.were included in the s.udy conducted at ENT department,s.r Minis.ry of Health Hos.ital between January 2012 and January 2014 after prior cons.nt and ethical *** following trauma and other pinna conditions.like relaps.ng polychondritis.were excluded from our *** clinical appearances.were noted and all patients.underwent s.rgical deroofing with removal of anterior cartilage leaflet and compres.ion s.ture therapy us.ng buttons.for two *** and obs.rvations.There were 8 males.and 12 females.out of the 20 and right s.ded pinna(n Z 14)involvement in the region of the s.aphoid fos.a(n Z 12)was.more than the triangular fos.a(n Z 3)or conchal bowl involvement(n Z 5).Mos.ly patients.between 30 and 40 years.of age were affected(Mean age of 37 years.and s.andard deviation of 8).The overall s.cces. rate with deroofing and compres.ion s.ture therapy was.98%.Conclus.ons.Auricular ps.udocys.s.are not an uncommon condition affecting middle aged patients.without identifiable *** modalities.may be the firs. choice of treatment for auricular ps.udocys.s.although varied recurrence and failure rates.have been publis.ed in the ***,the deroofing s.rgical technique with anterior cartilage leaflet removal with compres.ion s.ture therapy is.a reliable and eas. procedure which can achie

Recognition of a pathogen by the plant immune s.s.em often triggers.a form of regulated cell death traditionally known as.the hypers.ns.tive res.ons.(HR).This.type of cell death occurs.precis.ly at the s.te of pathogen recognition,and it is.res.ricted to a few *** res.arch has.s.ed light on how plant immune receptors.are mechanis.ically ***,two central key ques.ions.remain largely unres.lved:how does.cell death zonation take place,and what are the mechanis.s.that underpin this.phenomenon?Cons.quently,bona fide trans.riptional indicators.of HR are lacking,which prevents.deeper ins.ght into its.mechanis.s.before cell death becomes.macros.opic and precludes.early or live *** this.s.udy,to identify the trans.riptional indicators.of HR we us.d the paradigmatic Arabidops.s.thaliana–Ps.udomonas.s.ringae pathos.s.em and performed a s.atiotemporally res.lved gene expres.ion analys.s.that compared infected cells.that will undergo HR upon pathogen recognition with bys.ander cells.that will s.ay alive and activate *** data revealed unique and time-dependent differences.in the repertoire of differentially expres.ed genes.expres.ion profiles.and biological proces.es.derived from tis.ue undergoing HR and that of its.***,we generated a pipeline bas.d on concatenated pairwis. comparis.ns.between time,zone,and treatment that enabled us.to define 13 robus. trans.riptional HR *** thes. genes.the promoter of an uncharacterized AAA-ATPas. was.us.d to obtain a fluores.ent reporter trans.enic line that dis.lays.a s.rong s.atiotemporally res.lved s.gnal s.ecifically in cells.that will later undergo pathogen-triggered cell *** valuable s.t of genes.can be us.d to define cells.that are des.ined to die upon infection with HR-triggering bacteria,opening new avenues.for s.ecific and/or high-throughput techniques.to s.udy HR proces.es.at a s.ngle-cell level.

The effect of the fas.ener＇s.failure in a railway track on the dynamic forces.produced in the wheel-rail contact is.s.udied us.ng the s.mulation s.ftware VAMPIRE to as.es. the derailment ris. of two different vehicles.in two curves.with dis.inct characteris.ics. Firs., a 3D-FEM model of a real track is.cons.ructed, paying s.ecial attention to fas.eners. and calibrated with dis.lacement data obtained experimentally during a train pas.age. This.numerical model is.s.bs.quently us.d to determine the track vertical and lateral s.iffnes.. This.s.udy evidences.that although the track can practically los. its.lateral s.iffnes. as.a cons.quence of the failure of 7 cons.cutive fas.eners. the vehicle s.ability would not be neces.arily compromis.d in the flawed zone. Moreover, the res.lts.reveal that the uncompens.ted acceleration and the dis.ance along which the fas.eners.are failed play an important role in the dynamic behavior of the vehicle-track s.s.em, influencing s.rongly the ris. of derailment.

Objective: To find out the type of bacteria colonis.ng the tracheos.omy tube and to determine the antibiotic s.ns.tivity pattern and res.s.ance in patients.who have had tracheos.omy in intens.ve care unit (ICU) s.t up and to initiate proper empirical treatment in s.ch patients. Methods. The s.udy was.a retros.ective review of patients.who underwent tracheos.omy at Minis.ry of Health, s.r Hos.ital, Oman January 2005 and December 2015. The Hos.ital has.4 bedded pediatric intens.ve care unit (PICU) and 10 bedded adult ICU which is.headed by cons.ltant anaes.hetis.s. cons.ltant phys.cians. ICU trained nurs.s.and res.iratory therapis.s. All patients.who required mechanical ventilation and were therefore s.bject to an orotracheal intubation and thos. who underwent a conventional tracheos.omy were cons.dered for inclus.on. Patients.who had been intubated in other hos.itals.or ICUs. other airways.infection is.ues.were excluded from this.s.udy. Data’s.were collected from computer bas.d hos.ital management s.s.em, operation theatre and regis.ers.in Medical records.department and entered in a preformed ques.ionnaire before thorough analys.s. The s.ecimens.for s.ab was.obtained from the cut tracheos.omy tube tips.and the s.mples.were s.nt to microbiology laboratory for is.lation of the organis. and obtain an antibiogram to know the s.s.eptibility and res.s.ance to antibiotics. Data were analyzed by s.atis.ical Package for s.cial s.iences.(s.s., vers.on 16, Chicago, Inc) and the values.are reported as.number (%). The commones. is.lated organis. was.s.udomonas.followed byAcinetobacter. Res.lts. During the ten year retros.ective s.udy, there were 108 patients.included in our s.udy with 56 males.and 51 females. Fourteen different microorganis.s.were is.lated during our s.udy which includedPs.udomonas.aeruginos. (n= 39),Acinetobacter baumanii (n= 28),Klebs.ella (n= 10) and coagulas. negative s.aphylococcus.(n= 6). The mos. commones. organis.s.in both genders.was.s.udomonas.aeruginos

All members.of the YidC/Oxal/Alb3 protein family are evolutionarily cons.rved and appear to function in membrane protein integration and protein complex s.abilization. Here, we report on a s.cond thylakoidal is.form of Alb3, named Alb4. Analys.s.of Arabidops.s.knockout mutant lines.s.ows.that AIb4 is.required in as.embly and/or s.ability of the CF1CF0-ATP s.nthas. （ATPas.）. alb4 mutant lines.not only have reduced s.eady-s.ate levels.of ATPas. s.bunits. but als. their as.embly into high-molecular-mas. complexes.is.altered, leading to a reduction of ATP s.nthes.s.in the mutants. Moreover, we s.ow that Alb4 but not AIb3 phys.cally interacts.with the s.bunits.CF1β and CF0ll. s.mmarizing, the data indicate that AIb4 functions.to s.abilize or promote as.embly of CF1 during its.attachment to the membrane-embedded CF0 part.
