African swine fever(ASF)is a contagious and lethal hemorrhagic disease with a high case fatality *** 2007,ASF has been spreading into many countries,especially in Europe and *** that there is no effective vaccine and treatment to deal with ASF,prevention is an important way for a country to avoid the effects of the *** is currently ASF-free but the disease has been reported in many neighboring countries,such as Indonesia,Timor-Leste,and Papua New ***,it is necessary for Australia to maintain hypervigilance to prevent the ASF *** this paper,we propose the use of fuzzy concepts to establish a fuzzy risk assessment model to predict the ASF introduction risk in *** the analysis,the international passengers(ip)and international import trade(IIT)are concluded as the two main ASF introduction factors based on transmission features and past *** the established fuzzy risk assessment model based on the analysis of the 2019 and 2020 data,the risks of ASF introduction into Australia are considered to be *** model further deduced that the Asian region was the major source of potential ***,in order to validate the effectiveness of the established fuzzy risk assessment model,the qualitative data from the Department for Environment,Food&Rural Affairs of the United Kingdom was *** the validation results,it has shown that the results were consistent when the same data is adopted,and thus proved that the functionality of the established fuzzy risk assessment model for assessing the risk in Australia.

The global map of potassium is represented in this paper from Chang'E-1 (CE-1) Gamma-ray Spectrometer (CGRS) for its one-year *** a linear relationship between net count rate and its abundance,the average potassium abundance of individual landing sites is used as ground-truth for the calibration to derive the global map of absolute *** CGRS spectra have a lower signal-to-noise ratio,the translated map still keeps relative *** calculated from Apollo,Lunar Prospector,and Kaguya,global potassium map from CGRS shows high concentrations on the lunar nearside and secondary concentrations located in the South Pole-Aitken (SPA) basin on the *** comparison with Lunar Prospector potassium map shows a good correlation,though abundances on the highlands of the farside are much lower than that of Lunar *** the footprint of CGRS measurements is larger than the sampling radius of each landing site,the calibrated map shows a larger variation range of the scale than that of Lunar Prospector,which was derived using theoretical calculation;namely,the calibrated map has higher values in the areas with high concentration while having lower values for the areas with lower ***,the derived potassium map is more consistent with the lunar sample data than that of Lunar Prospector.

Endometriosis is a common chronic gynecological disease with endometrial cell implantation outside the *** is a major pathophysiology in *** previous studies have demonstrated that the prodrug of epigallocatechin gallate(ProEGCG)exhibits superior anti-endometriotic and anti-angiogenic effects compared to epigallocatechin gallate(EGCG).However,their direct binding targets and underlying mechanisms for the differential effects remain *** this study,we demonstrated that oral ProEGCG can be effective in preventing and treating ***,1D and 2D Proteome Integral Solubility Alteration assay-based chemical proteomics identified metadherin(MTDH)and PX domain containing serine/threonine kinase-like(PXK)as novel binding targets of EGCG and ProEGCG,*** simulation and BioLayer interferometry were used to confirm their binding *** results showed that MTDH-EGCG inhibited protein kinase B(Akt)-mediated angiogenesis,while PXK-ProEGCG inhibited epidermal growth factor(EGF)-mediated angiogenesis via the EGF/hypoxia-inducible factor(HIF-1a)/vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)*** vitro and in vivo knockdown assays and microvascular network imaging further confirmed the involvement of these signaling ***,our study demonstrated that ProEGCG has superior therapeutic effects than EGCG by targeting distinct signal transduction pathways and may act as a novel antiangiogenic therapy for endometriosis.

A 43-year-old Chinese patient with a history of psoriasis developed fulminant ulcerative colitis after immunosuppressive therapy for steroid-resistant minimal change disease was stopped. Minimal change disease in association with inflammatory bowel disease is a rare condition. We here report a case showing an association between ulcerative colitis, minimal change disease, and psoriasis. The possible pathological link between 3 diseases is discussed.

Background Peer victimization has been recognized as a common social problem affecting children and adolescents in all parts of the world. This study aims to examine the prevalence of different types of peer victimization and to evaluate the associations between peer victimization and health correlates. Methods Using a large population sample of 18,341 adolescents aged 15–17 years from 6 cities in China, this study esti-mated the prevalence of different types of peer victimization, addictive behaviors, and health-related variables with self-administrated questionnaires. A three-phase logistical regression analysis was conducted to investigate the associations between peer victimization and addictive behaviors as well as health-related factors among adolescents. Results A total of 42.9% of the surveyed Chinese adolescents have been bullied by peers, with boys reporting higher rate on overt victimization (36.9%) and girls on relational forms (33.9%). School environment (34.7%) was the most frequent scene of peer violence, followed by neighborhood, family, and internet. Addictive behaviors except substance abuse were found related to higher possibility of peer victimization (aOR 1.21–1.73, P<0.001). Peer victimization was significantly associated with more depressive symptoms, post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms, and suicide ideation and deliberate self-harm (aOR 1.05–2.27, P<0.001), and poorer self-esteem and health-related quality of life (aOR 0.95–0.97, P<0.001). Conclusion Possible explanations of the associations found in this study are discussed and implications for future services are raised.

This study aims at investigating the consumption values of Hong Kong people on necktie. Based on the Sheth-Newman-Gross Model of consumption values on consumers’ choice decision as conceptual framework, results from the focus group interview, a questionnaire was designed and adopted for conducting the survey. Data collected from 245 respondents were analysed using the Factor Analysis to review the important elements of consumers’ decision of purchasing tie products. Implications on the results on the Functional value were reviewed and discussed in details. Interesting elements such as fabric hand-feel were also identified as influential associated in Hong Kong consumers’ selection of necktie. Since, both fibre content and fabric handle were also found as major selection criteria for fabric materials, the study was focused on the analysis of functional value of the product and further extended to study the handle preference for Hong Kong customers, in which a subjective handle assessment of a wide range of tie fabrics being newly developed and introduced in the market was conducted and objective fabric physical and mechanical properties were measured. Important fabric handle attributes that influence the consumers’ preference on tie fabrics were identified and their objective translation by fabric physical and mechanical properties were also obtained. The investigation provides decision support to necktie manufacturers and retailers through scientific and quantitative recommendations for product development of tie products and material selection.
