The Bafoussam area in western Cameroon is part of the central Cameroon Volcanic Ligne(CVL).This study presents the mineralogy,major and trace element compositions,Sr-Pb-Hf isotopes,and new K-Ar geochronological data about mafic and felsic volcanic *** rocks belong to two different series:A transitional series made of basalts,basaltic andesite,and trachytes and an alkaline mafic series with basalts,hawaiites,and *** age data show that the transitional series belongs to the oldest part of the CVL and was emplaced between 47 and 35 *** alkaline volcanism is younger,with ages ranging from10 to 4.5 *** evolution in both series is accomplished through a fractional crystallization process,with the removal of olivine and clinopyroxene,while plagioclase does not seem to be a major crystallizing *** the samples are enriched in incompatible trace elements,but the rocks from the alkaline series have more fractionated REE patterns and high Nb content compared to the transitional mafic *** lavas have lower initial^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr and higher^(176)Hf/^(177)Hf and Pb isotopic ratios than the transitional *** La/Nb and high^(87)Sr/^(86)Sriratio are among chemical characteristics that show that some samples from the transitional series have interacted with a crustal component during their evolution in the *** cannot be used for discussing the mantle source of the volcanic rocks from this *** elements show that primary magmas for both series formed in a garnet-bearing mantle source,with higher partial melting degrees(3-5%)for the transitional magmas than for the alkaline magmas(<2.5%).Combining trace elements and isotopic ratios,we show that the Bafoussam lavas formed from two different mantle *** magmas formed from a pyroxenite-bearing enriched mantle with low Pb isotopic *** mantle source is present in all the oldest lavas from the *** magmas formed from an HIMU-like mantle sourc

Glitch activity refers to the mean increase in pulsar spin frequency per year due to rotational *** is an important tool for studying super-nuclear matter using neutron star interiors as *** events are typically observed in the spin frequency(ν) and frequency derivative( ν) of *** rate of glitch recurrence decreases as the pulsar ages,and the activity parameter is usually measured by linear regression of cumulative glitches over a given *** method is effective for pulsars with multiple regular glitch ***,due to the scarcity of glitch events and the difficulty of monitoring all known pulsars,only a few have multiple records of glitch *** limits the use of the activity parameter in studying neutron star interiors with multiple *** this study,we examined the relationship between the activity parameters and pulsar spin parameters(spin frequency,frequency derivative,and pulsar characteristic age).We found that a quadratic function provides a better fit for the relationship between activity parameters and spin parameters than the commonly used linear *** this information,we were able to estimate the activity parameters of other pulsars that do not have records of *** analysis shows that the relationship between the estimated activity parameters and pulsar spin parameters is consistent with that of the observed activity parameters in the ensemble of pulsars.

The aim of this study was to verify the existence of business and strategic intelligence policies at the level of Congolese companies and at the state level, likely to foster progress and healthy development in the east of the DRC. The study was based on a mixed perspective consisting of objective analysis of quantitative data and interpretative analysis of qualitative data. The results showed that business and strategic intelligence policies have not been established at either company or state level, as this is an area of activity that is not known to the players in companies and public departments, and there are no units or offices in their organizational structures responsible for managing strategic information for competitiveness on the international market. In addition, there is a real need to establish strategic information management units within companies, upstream, and to set up a national strategic information management department or agency to help local companies compete in the marketplace, downstream. This reflects the importance and timeliness of building business and strategic intelligence policies to ensure economic progress and development in the eastern DRC. Business and strategic intelligence provides companies with an appropriate tool for researching, collecting, processing and disseminating information useful for decision-making among stakeholders, in order to cope with a crisis or competitive situation. The study suggests a number of key recommendations based on its findings. To the government, it is recommended to establish the national policy of business and strategic intelligence by setting up a national agency of strategic intelligence in favor of local companies;and to companies to establish business intelligence units in their organizational structures in favor of stakeholders to foster advantageous decision-making in the competitive market and achieve progress. Burundi and China enjoy close collaboration in a number of sectors,particularly *** the major initiatives,the introduction of hybrid rice cultivation stands out as a flagship *** 2018,the first demonstration village for hybrid rice cultivation was established in the commune of Gihanga in northwestern *** 2020,this initiative reached a crucial stage with the creation of the Burundi Agricultural Pilot Centre(APC),located in Gihanga in the province of Bubanza.A total of 56 villages spread across 11 of Burundi’s 18 provinces have been selected for demonstration as of *** Huade,head of the team of high-level Chinese agricultural experts supporting Burundi and a rice cultivation specialist who is also in charge of the APC,revealed that trials are currently underway in four provinces:the capital Gitega,the central province of Muramvya,and the northern provinces of Ngozi and Kayanza.

Alkaline basalts of Bafang and its environs are consisted of feldspars, olivines, pyroxenes and oxides which appear as phenocrysts, microphenocrysts and microcrysts. Feldspars are plagioclases (An67.97-15.84Ab69.19-30.43Or20.59-1.51) and anorthoclases (Ab68.11-61.20Or33.87-20.91An10.98-4.93). Plagioclases are the most abundant amount these feldspars. Anorthoclases appear only in mugearite (BAF 3 and BAF 37) the most differentiated of the studied alkaline-basalts. In High Magnesian basalt, (HMg-B) plagioclases are labradorites (An67.97-59.30Ab38.74-30.43Or2.75-1.60) and sanidine (An45.44-31.82Ab62.66-51.79Or5.52-2.77), whereas in Low Magnesian basalt (LMg-B) there are labrador (An67.4.75-51.96Ab44.98-33.72Or3.06-1.51), andesine (An45.44-31.82Ab62.66-51.79Or5.52-2.77), oligoclase (An26.65-15.84Ab69.19-63.57Or20.59-8.55) and anarthoclase (Ab68.11-61.20Or33.87-20.91An10.98-4.93). Olivines are magnesian (Fo86.7-50.1) and ferriferous (Fo48.8-37.8). In HMg-B, olivine are only magnesian. These olivines are chrysolites and hyalositerite. In LMg-B, olivines are magnesian and ferriferous with the predominance of ferriferous. They are chrysolites, hyalositerite and hortonolite. Pyroxenes are Ca, Mg and Fe clinopyroxenes. There are diopsides (Wo51.94-45.02En44.41-33.16Fs16.42-10.70) and augites (Wo44.88-43.64En41.03-37.04Fs18.25-14.43). Oxides are magnetites represented by ulvospinel (Usp90-75Sp2-7Mt5-23).
