The abundant existence of both structured and unstructured data and rapid advancement of statistical models stressed the importance of introducing Explainable Artificial Intelligence(XAI),a process that explains how prediction is done in AI *** mental disorder,i.e.,Autism Spectral Disorder(ASD)needs to be identified and classified at early stage itself in order to reduce health *** this background,the current paper presents XAI-based ASD diagnosis(XAI-ASD)model to detect and classify ASD *** proposed XAI-ASD technique involves the design of Bacterial Foraging Optimization(BFO)-based Feature Selection(FS)*** addition,Whale Optimization Algorithm(WOA)with Deep Belief network(DBN)model is also applied for ASD classification process in which the hyperparameters of DBN model are optimally tuned with the help of *** order to ensure a better ASD diagnostic outcome,a series of simulation process was conducted on ASD dataset.

The grid environment is a dynamic,heterogeneous,and changeable computing system that distributes various services amongst different *** attain the benefits of collaborative resource sharing in Grid computing,a novel and proficient grid resource management system(RMS)is ***,detection of an appropriate resource for the presented task is a difficult *** scientists have presented algorithms for mapping tasks to the *** of them focus on fault tolerance,user fulfillment,and load *** this motivation,this study designs an intelligent grid scheduling scheme using deer hunting optimization algorithm(DHOA),called IGSS-DHOA which schedules in such a way that the makespan gets minimized in the grid *** IGSS-DHOA technique is mainly based on the hunting nature of humans toward *** also derives an objective function with candidate solution(schedule)as input and the outcome is the makespan value denoting the quality of the candidate *** simulation results highlighted the supremacy of the IGSS-DHOA technique over the recent state of art techniques with the minimal average processing cost of 31717.9.

Tracking Students’ Mental Engagement Using EEG Signals during an Interaction with a Virtual Learning Environment

Monitoring students’ level of engagement during learning activities is an important challenge in the development of tutoring interventions. In this paper, we explore the feasibility of using electroencephalographic signals (EEG) as a tool to monitor the mental engagement index of novice medicine students during a reasoning process. More precisely, the objectives were first, to track students’ mental engagement evolution in order to investigate whether there were particular sections within the learning environment that aroused the highest engagement level among the students, and, if so, did these sections have an impact on learners’ performance. Experimental analyses showed the same trends in the different resolution phases as well as across the different regions of the environments. However, we noticed a higher engagement index during the treatment identification phase since it aroused more mental effort. Moreover statistically significant effects were found between mental engagement and students’ performance.

Symptomatic Tarlov Cysts and Occupational Outcome: A Case Report

Tarlov cysts are often asymptomatic and incidentally discovered. However, in few cases, these cysts can be symptomatic and may manifest as chronic low back pain. We report a case of a Tarlov cyst incidentally diagnosed by MRI in a wiring factory worker complaining of chronic low back pain exacerbated with the carrying of heavy loads and the hyper solicitation of the lumbar spine during his professional activity. The clinical manifestations of symptomatic Tarlov cysts can influence the life quality of patients and have enormous repercussions on their work ability, which in some cases can lead to job loss. Thus, the socio-professional aspects of symptomatic Tarlov cysts should not be underestimated and maintaining these patients in employment should be considered from the outset as an objective in its own right in the management.

Healing Humor: The Use of Humor in the Nurse-Patient Relationship

Objective: To identify the importance of using humor in patient/nurse relationship, its factors, its conditions and the barriers that might limit its use. Methods: We systematically searched PubMed, Science Direct and Google Scholar, for relevant articles published in English between 2010 and 2019. We included the studies that investigated humor between nurses and their patient’s relationship. Results: From the initial 287 articles found, 15 were included for final revision. Data allowed retrieving information on humor definition;its applicability as a nursing intervention;humor as a tool to improve nurse-patient communication and relationship;influencing factors;humor benefits in health care context and the limits that come against its use. Conclusion: Humor is considered a powerful communication tool, it promotes well-being, relieves anxiety and stress, helps deal with stressful situations but it should be used cautiously in order to prevent undesired consequences.

Effect of Sodium Metabisulphite on Blood Metabolic Status of Wistar Rats

The objective of this work was to determine the sodium metabisulphite (NaMBS) subchronic toxicity used as a food additive in Algeria. Three groups of female Wistar rats were treated with 0.25%, 1% and 4% of NaMBS in their drinking water for 90 days. An immunization protocol was conducted during the experiment. Mortality, comportmental and weight modifications, and food and water consumption were recorded. At the end of the experiment, the control and experiment rats were killed, and their blood and organs were removed. immunoglobulin levels were evaluated;biochemical and hematological parameters were investigated. Our results showed that the administration of NaMBS at 1% and 4% had significant effects on body weight, food and water consumed. There was an increase in biochemical parameters (calcium, urea, creatinine, uric acid, transaminases) and decrease immunoglobulin levels. The hematology revealed a decrease in red blood cells and hemoglobin, as well as leucocytosis. Physiological study showed enlarged spleen, kidney, liver and stomach. In light of our results, we can conclude that subchronic intake of NaMBS 1% and 4% seems to alter immune function, biochemical, hematological and physiological para-meters in Wistar rats.

Occupational Allergic Contact Dermatitis in Tunisia: Epidemiology and Occupational Outcome

Background: Occupational allergic contact dermatitis (ACD) is one of the most frequent diseases on the workplace worldwide. Its national incidence and prevalence were not previously studied in Tunisia. Objective: To assess incidence of occupational allergic contact dermatitis and its occupational outcome in Tunisia. Methods: Descriptive epidemiological study of all cases of occupational allergic contact dermatitis reported from 2002 to 2012 in Tunisia and recognized by the medical commissions of the National Health Insurance Fund. Results: 315 cases of occupational ACD were collected representing an annual incidence of 31.65 cases/100.000 workers in the private sector in Tunisia. The mean age of our population was 42.70 ± 9.02 years with a male predominance (sex ratio 3.03). The most affected sectors were the clothing sector (14.3% of cases) and the cement industry (13.7% of cases). Patch tests were positive in 188 patients (59.67%). The most frequently positive allergen was potassium dichromate in 27.3% of the cases. Overall, 25.4% of patients had lost their jobs. After multiple binary logistic regression, job loss had a statistically significant relationship with localization of lesions on the face and on dominant hand. Conclusion: Occupational ACD is frequent in Tunisia and is responsible for an important rate of job loss. Preventive measures must be reinforced, especially the wearing of protective gloves.
