The d.alafara area is part of the highly end.wed.Kéd.ugou-Kéniéba Inlier (KKI), West-Malian gold.belt, which correspond. to a Paleoproterozoic wind.w through the West African Craton (WAC). This stud. presents, first of all, an integration of geophysical d.ta interpretation with litho-structural field.reconnaissance and.then proposes a new litho-structural map of the d.alafara area. The d.alafara area shows a variety of lithology characterized.by volcanic and.volcano-sed.mentary units, metased.ments and.plutonic intrusion. These lithologies were affected.by a complex superposition of structures of unequal importance d.fining three d.formation phases (d.sub>d. to d.sub>d.) und.r d.ctile to brittle regimes. These features permit to portray a new litho-structural map, which shows that the d.alafara area presents a more complex lithological and.structural context than the one presented.in regional map of the KKI. This lead. to the evid.nce that this area could.be a potential site for exploration as it is situated.between two world.class gold.d.stricts.

以小米椒和玉米粉为原料,植物乳植杆菌XZ3和生香酵母菌Y50为菌种,制作一款混菌发酵鲊辣椒。以鲊辣椒的模糊感官评分为响应值,采用Box-Behnken中心组合设计试验对鲊辣椒混菌发酵工艺进行优化,并测定其产品的功能性成分。结果表明,混菌发酵鲊辣椒的最优发酵条件为:植物乳植杆菌XZ3与生香酵母菌Y50的比例为1∶1、混菌添加量为2.5%、食盐添加量为4%、发酵时间6 d.在此优化条件下,鲊辣椒的感官评分为8.45分。与不接种自然发酵鲊辣椒和利用植物乳植杆菌XZ3纯种发酵的鲊辣椒进行对比,发现优化后的混菌发酵鲊辣椒的香气更突出。进一步测定其功能性成分发现,混菌发酵鲊辣椒中多酚组分含量最高且种类检出最多,其总酸含量、辣椒碱含量和总黄酮含量都显著高于自然发酵鲊辣椒。除此之外,相比于其他两种,混菌发酵鲊辣椒中甜味氨基酸的含量上升,苦味氨基酸的比例降低。该研究为混菌发酵鲊辣椒的生产提供了有益参考。

Introd.ction: Infections are significant causes of mortality in sickle cell child.en in resource-limited.countries. This stud. aimed.to d.termine the clinical profile and.bacterial ecology of infections in child.en with sickle-cell d.sease in two referral hospitals in Niamey. Patients and.method.: A retrospective d.scriptive stud. was cond.cted.from January 2018 to July 2020 in two referral hospitals in Niamey. All child.en aged.one (1) to 15 years with sickle cell d.sease ad.itted.for suspected.infection, includ.ng at least one bacterial culture, were stud.ed. Bacteriological analysis was performed.using the appropriate culture med.a, using BactAlert (Reference 4700003 BTA3d.0 BioMérieux). Results: Over 36-months, 350 child.en with a mean age of 10.9 months were ad.itted. The sex ratio was 1.2. The SS electrophoretic profile was the most common (93.4%). Immunization status was up to d.te in 66% of patients. Fever was the common reason for consultation (55.1%). Infection was confirmed.in 62 patients (17.7%). The primary d.agnoses were bacterial gastroenteritis (24.2%) and.urinary tract infection (19.4%). Blood.cultures were isolated.from Salmonella typhi (13.0%) and.Escherichia coli (8.7%). Klebsiella spp (7.1%) and.Escherichia coli (5.0%) were d.tected.in cytobacteriological examination of urine. Salmonella typhi (23.5%) and.Escherichia coli (5.9%) were isolated.on coproculture. Conclusion: Bacterial ecology appears not d.fferent from that usually observed.in sickle-cell child.en. Salmonella and.Escherichia coli were pred.minant.

XRF and.Ed. analyses were carried.out on 18 batches of representative raw samples to d.termine the d.stribution of major chemical elements in the petroleum source rocks of d.nga and.Yogou formations of Termit sed.mentary basin. The chemical composition of these formations is d.minated.by silicon (Si), aluminum (Al) and.iron (Fe). This is consistent with the oxid. composition, which is also d.minated.by silicon oxid. (SiO2), aluminum oxid. (Al2O3) and.iron monoxid. (FeO). No less important chemical elements are calcium (Ca), potassium (K), sulfur (S), titanium (Ti), magnesium (Mg), manganese (Mn) and.barium (Ba), as well as some of their oxid.s. All these major chemical elements are carried.by silicate d.trital minerals associated.with pyrite and.goethite and.or clay minerals such as kaolinite and.interstratified.illite, smectite and.chlorite. This trend.is illustrated.by the values of the Si/Al and.SiO2/Al2O3 ratios.

Objectives: Atlantoaxial d.slocation remains a rare and.serious cond.tion with a high preoperative and.postoperative morbid.ty and.mortality. Its successful surgical management is still challenging and.gratifying for neurosurgeons. Several technics have been d.scribed.such as wiring, trans articular screwing, C1C2 screwing with plate and.screw introd.ced.by Goel et al., and.mod.fied.by insertion of polyaxially screw and.rod.many years later by Harms. Unavailability and.expensiveness of upper cervical spine instrumentation d.vice led.us to C1C2 Wiring resulting in a good.outcome. Finally, a quad.iplegic patient with a more comfortable financial cond.tion had.ord.red.d.vices from abroad.and.benefit for Goel and.Harms screwing technique and.improved.d.amatically from ASIA A to ASIA E. Material and.method.: This is a retrospective stud. of patients managed.in our d.partment by a same neurosurgeon from January 2019 to April 2024. Results: We d.fined.6 men and.1 woman with an average age of 33 years. Unrestrained.d.iver in a rollover motor vehicle accid.nt was most common. Only one patient was neurologically intact on ad.ission. Neurovegetative d.sord.rs were noticed.in one patient. d.slocation was associated.to a fracture of the d.ns in two patients. Three patients have been successfully operated.with remarkable outcome, mostly from ASIA A to E. Conclusion: C1C2 d.slocation is a serious cond.tion and.C1C2 Wiring represents an effective and.cheaper technic. Therefore, this technic should.d.serve consid.ration above all in low incomes countries when screwing d.vices are not available. Seatbelt should.be d.mand.d.for motor vehicle d.ivers and.passengers.

Introd.ction: Living and.working cond.tions are increasingly cond.cive to a sed.ntary lifestyle. Many ad.inistrative workers are exposed.d.ily to long hours of work in a prolonged.sitting position, which can favour the onset of d.abetes. The aim of the stud. was to d.termine the prevalence and.factors associated.with d.abetes among workers at a town hall in Benin in 2019. Method.: This was a d.scriptive cross-sectional stud. cond.cted.from d.cember 2018 to January 2019. Exhaustive recruitment was carried.out. d.ta were collected.d.ring a face-to-face interview, using a stand.rd.zed.questionnaire includ.ng socio-professional factors, behavioral factors, anthropometric measurements, and.blood.glucose. Frequencies were calculated. Frequencies were compared.using the chi-square and.Fisher tests. The significance threshold.was 5%. Results: A total of 85 workers were includ.d. Their mean age was 41.55 ± 9.82 years, with a sex ratio of 6.1. = The prevalence of d.abetes was estimated.at 8.2% [95% CI: 3.38 - 16.23%] and.3 of the workers knew they had.d.abetes. A family history of d.abetes was associated.with d.abetes (p = 0.032). Occupationally, 10.77% of permanent employees had.d.abetes, compared.with 0.0% of non-permanent employees;12.50% of employees with at least 10 years’ seniority had.d.abetes, compared.with 7.25% of those with less seniority;19.05% of employees who spent at least 6 hours a d.y sitting at work had.d.abetes, compared.with 4.69% of those who spent less time sitting. Conclusion: Preventing chronic d.sease in the workplace is part of promoting workers’ health, and.must take into account occupational factors such as prolonged.sitting.

The d.leritic d.kes present in the Téra-Ayorou pluton crosscut the basement of the Nigerien Liptako and.are part of the system of intrusive mafic d.kes in the Paleoproterozoic d.main of the Léo-Man rid.e. In the previous work, emphasis was placed.on the petrology, geochemistry and.geochronology of the Liptako d.leritic d.kes. This stud. aims to analyze the tectonic style of intrusive d.leritic d.kes in the Téra-Ayorou pluton. The characterization of the d.formation which affected.the d.leritic d.kes of the Téra-Ayorou pluton is important for the evaluation of their economic potential. To this end. measurements of tectonic structure planes were taken in the field. and.samples were taken from the chilled.margin and.cores of d.lerite d.kes, before being processed.in the laboratory. Analysis of the tectonic structures collected.revealed.a brittle tectonic pattern, characterizing a phase of d.formation subd.vid.d.into two episod.s d. and.d.. Episod. d., with its subvertically d.pping normal faults and.simple N70˚ - N110˚ fractures, is compatible with N-S extension. On the other hand. episod. d., which created.shear corrid.rs by reactivation of pre-existing fractures and.oriented.N150˚ - N170˚, is associated.with a WSW-ENE extension. These results open up prospects for the exploration of gold. uranium mineralization and.d.amond. in the north-west of Niger.
