Threshold Parameter for the Control of Unemployment in the Society: mathematical model and Analysis

Unemployment is one of the major vices in our contemporal society, which weigh greatly on the economy of such nation. It is also, a fact that knowing ones enemy before battle gives 50 per cent chance of victory;thus, this research aimed at providing understanding about dynamics of unemployment with consideration for retirement and possible control criterion. And the objectives are;formulation of mathematical model using the concept of deterministic model and mathematical epidemiology;then, model analysis. The model analysis includes, a numerical semi-analytical scheme for investigating validity of analytical solutions. The result of the analysis were that: 1) the model was mathematically well-pose and biologically meaningful 2) two equilibria points exist, and 3) a threshold for recruitment from the pool of unemployment, assuring victory in the fight against unemployment was also, obtained. The threshold is required to be well managed in order to win the battle against the socio-vice (unemployment) in the contemporary society. In addition, variational iterative method (VIm) is the numerical semi-analytic scheme employed to solve the model;thus, the approximate solution gave a practical meaningful interpretation supporting the analytical results and proof of verdict of assumptions of the model. The article concluded with three points;everyone has roles to play to curtail the socio-menace, beseech government and policy makers to look kindly, and create policy(ies) to sustain population growth, and the retiree should also, plan live after service, because over dependence on pension scheme could be died before death because of corruption in the scheme.

metformin(met)is a drug developed for the treatment of patients with typeⅡ ***,met estimation in pharmaceutical formulations and human fluids has gained a growing *** extend requisite data that can be used to assessment of met quantitatively based on charge-transfer(CT)complexation,the present study describes the synthesis and characterization of CT complexes that formed between drug met and the organicπ-acceptors picric acid(PA),chloranilic acid(CLA),chloranil(CHL),7,7',8,8'-tetracyanoquinodimethane(TCNQ),and dichlorodicyanobenzoquinone(DDQ).The properties of the formed CT complexes were investigated by elemental,spectral(UV-visible,IR,and Raman spectroscopies),thermal(TG)and morphological(SEm)*** results indicated that the complexation of met with either PA or CLA acceptors occurs through proton transfer interaction,whereas its complexation with CHL,TCNQ,or DDQ acceptors occurs through n→π*interaction.

There were only 75 confirmed cases of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)reported in Libya by the National Center for Disease Control during the first two months following the first confirmed case on 24 march ***,there was dramatic increase in positive cases from June to now;as of 19 November 2020,approximately 357940 samples have been tested by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction,and the results have revealed a total number of 76808 confirmed cases,47587 recovered cases and 1068 *** case fatality ratio was estimated to be 1.40%,and the mortality rate was estimated to be 15.90 in 100000 *** epidemiological situation markedly changed from mid-July to the beginning of August,and the country proceeded to the cluster ***-19 has spread in almost all Libyan cities,and this reflects the high transmission rate of the virus at the regional level with the highest positivity rates,at an average of 14.54%.Apparently,there is an underestimation of the actual number of COVID-19 cases due to the low testing ***,the Libyan health authority needs to initiate a large-scale case-screening process and enforce testing capacities and contact testing within the time frame,which is not an easy ***,the Libyan health authority should improve the public health capacities and conduct strict hygienic measures among the societies and vaccinate as many people against COVID-19 to minimize both the case fatality ratio and socio-economic impacts of the pandemic in Libya.

Genesis and Classification of Some Soils of the River Nile Terraces: A Case Study of Khartoum North, Sudan

Soils developed in the alluvium terraces of the River Nile at Khartoum North, Sudan was analyzed in an attempt to classify it as well as to refer them to their origin. Three river terraces comprising nine profiles were selected to cover the physiographic positions. Lack of b horizon and carbonate accumulation were main pedogenic processes in subsurface horizons, whereas orhric epipedon was developed on top soil surface. The microscopic inspection of heavy sand mineralogy indicated that the origin of the sand was the Ethiopian plateau. The most abundant clay mineral was smectite, followed by illite, kaolinite and chlorite. The presences of micas (illite) and chlorite in all studied soil samples might emphasize that these soils were young from the pedological viewpoint and less weathered. The soils of the River Nile terraces at Khartoum North were classified into: Typic Torrifluvents (1st terrace), Entic Haplocambids (2nd terrace) and Typic Haplocambids (3rd terrace). mineralogy analysis indicated that the Entisols and Aridisols of the River Nile terraces in the study area had the same origin that of the igneous and metamorphic rocks from Ethiopian plateau.

In the present work, a simple and green co-precipitation method was used to prepare copper oxide-zeolite nanocomposites（CuO-zeolite NCs）. The weight ratio（1, 3, 5, 8 and 10 wt%） of CuO nanoparticles（NPs）loaded into zeolite was investigated to obtain the optimum CuO distribution for antibacterial *** prepared CuO-zeolite NCs were characterized by ultraviolet-visible（UV–vis） spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared（FT-IR） spectroscopy, powder X-ray diffraction（XRD）, and energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry（EDXRF）. The transmission electron microscopy（TEm） and field emission scanning electron microscopy（FE-SEm） revealed a uniform surface morphology of the CuO-zeolite *** UV–vis spectrum of NCs showed absorption peaks between 230 and 280 nm for nano-CuO in the XRD patterns, and new peaks appeared between（36.56？–38.83？） related to the CuO. At weight ratio less than 10 wt%, the CuO nanoparticles loaded to the zeolite exhibited spherical shapes with average particle diameter of 6.5 nm measured by TEm and XRD. Antibacterial activities were tested against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. The obtained results showed that, CuO-zeolite NCs with 8 wt% CuO nanoparticles had the highest antibacterial activities against bacillus Subtilis b29 and Salmonella Choleraesuis ATCC10708, which can be attributed to the good dispersion of CuO NPs on the zeolite surface.

In Egypt,Sofosbuvir(SOF)in combination with Dataclasvir(DCV)is the broadly used DAAs with excellent therapeutic *** study is designed to explore the relation between IL28b/TLR4 genetic variants and each of the followings;HCC development post SOF/DCV treatment,progression to HCC in naı¨ve patients and SOF/DCV therapy outcome.A total of 493 blood samples were collected(controls(n = 70);HCV patients treated with SOF/DCV(n = 252)of whom 65 patients developed HCC,187 patients didn’t develop HCC(125 responders,62 relapsers);naı¨ve HCV patients(n = 171)had early(n = 48),late liver fibrosis(n = 21)and HCC(n = 102)).both SNPs were genotyped using a Taqman 50 allelic discrimination *** IL28b rs12979860 SNP,the C allele was significantly correlating with the response rate more than T allele(OR 1.9,95%CI 1.29e2.9,p=0.004),while at TLR4 rs4986791 SNP,no association was found(OR 6.5,95%0.57e75.28,p = 0.09).both SNPs couldn’t detect the probability for HCC emergence after *** naı¨ve patients,the protective alleles were detected in their lowest frequency in HCC patients(p = 0.1,for rs12979860 and,p = 0.001 for rs4986791).SOF/DCV combination improved SVR rates in HCV genotype 4a infected patients regardless of IL28b genotype,with the best rates in those lacking the T allele.

Comparison of double balloon enteroscopy in adults and children

AIm: To compare results of double balloon enteroscopy (DbE) procedures in pediatric and adult patients. mETHODS: The medical files of patients who underwent DbE at Gazi University School of medicine, Ankara, Turkey between 2009 and 2011 were examined retrospectively. Adult and pediatric patients were compared according to DbE indications, procedure duration, final diagnosis, and complications. DbE procedures were performed in an operating room under general anesthesia by two endoscopists. An oral or anal approach was preferred according to estimated lesion sites. Overnight fasting of at least 6 h prior to the start of the procedure was adequate for preprocedural preparation of oral DbE procedures. bowel cleansing was performed by oral administration of sennosides A and b solution, 2 mL/kg, and anal saline laxative en-ema. The patients were followed up for 2 h after the procedure in terms of possible complications. RESULTS: DbE was performed in 35 patients (5 pediatric and 30 adult). DbE procedures were performed for abdominal pain, chronic diarrhea, bleeding, chronic vomiting, anemia, and postoperative evaluation of anastomosis. Final diagnosis was diffuse gastric angiodysplasia (n = 1); diffuse jejunal angiodysplasia (n = 1); ulceration in the bulbus (n = 1); celiac disease (n = 1); low differentiated metastatic carcinoma (n = 1); PeutzJeghers syndrome (n = 1); adenomatous polyp (n = 1) and stricture formation in anastomosis line (n = 1). During postprocedural follow-up, abdominal pain and elevated amylase levels were noted in three patients and one patient developed abdominal perforation. CONCLUSION: With the help of technological improvements, we may use enteroscopy as a safe modality more frequently in younger and smaller children.
