The task to estimate all the parameters of an unknown quantum state, also called quantum state tomography, is essential for characterizing and controlling quantum systems. In this paper, we utilize observable time traces to identify the initial quantum state of a closed quantum system, based on the state space approach in the control theory. In the informationally complete scenario, we show that with a linear regression estimation (LrE), the mean squared error (MSE) scales as , where N is the resource number. In the informationally incomplete scenario, we introduce regularization LrE to perform the state tomography task. We employ PBH test to demonstrate that closed quantum systems with only one observable are informationally incomplete and propose using observables, where d is the dimension of the quantum state, for informational completeness. Numerical examples demonstrate the effectiveness of our method.

The brain's extracellular matrix(ECM),which is comprised of protein and glycosaminoglycan(GAG)scaffolds,constitutes 20%-40% of the human brain and is considered one of the largest influencers on brain cell functioning(Soles et al.,2023).Synthesized by neural and glial cells,the brain's ECM regulates a myriad of homeostatic cellular processes,including neuronal plasticity and firing(Miyata et al.,2012),cation buffering(Moraws ki et al.,2015),and glia-neuron interactions(Anderson et al.,2016).Considering the diversity of functions,dynamic remodeling of the brain's ECM indicates that this understudied medium is an active participant in both normal physiology and neurological diseases.

The lignocellulose reinforced composites are commonly used sustainable materials with good mechanical and physical *** to properly dispose and recover the potential value of discarded lignocellulose reinforced composites,the pyrolysis behaviour and kinetics of reed straw processing residual/polylactic acid(rSPr/PLA)composites,a typical 3D printing material,was *** on the TG-FTIr results,the synergistic effects between rSPr and PLA during the pyrolysis process were *** with the FTIr spectra of PLA,the absorption peaks of CO and CO_(2)disappear in the FTIr spectra of rSPr/PLA composite,which indicates rSPr provides additional free radicals for the free radical reaction of PLA,and further promoting the *** apparent activation energy of the rSPr/PLA composite pyrolysis was calculated by two iso-conversional methods including Flynn-Wall-Ozawa(FWO)and Kissinger-Akahira-Sunose(KAS).The average Ea of the rSPr/PLA composite(122.6 kJ mol^(-1)(FWO)and 117.9 kJ mol^(-1)(KAS))was lower than that of solo pyrolysis of rSPr(138.5 kJ mol^(-1)(FWO)and 135.4 kJ mol^(-1)(KAS))and the pure PLA(197.0 kJ mol^(-1)(FWO)and 196.6 kJ mol^(-1)(KAS)).The master plot method results suggested the pyrolysis of rSPr/PLA composite followed the one-dimensional(D1)diffusion *** work provides an environmentally friendly strategy to effective thermo-chemical upgrading of the value of discarded lignocellulose reinforced composite material.

Dear Editor,Brassica carinata(Bc Bc Cc Cc),an important agricultural crop cultivated for the edible oil,leafy vegetable,high-value protein stockfeed,and biofuel markets,contains favorable genetic variation that can be exploited to develop climate-resilient and wateruse-efficient Brassica crops(Seepaul et al.,2021).Although several quantitative trait loci(QTLs)for flowering time,seed quality traits,and pod shatter resistance(PSr)have been identified based on high-density genetic linkage maps(Zou et al.,2014;raman et al.,2017;Zhang et al.,2017),this information alone is insufficient for practical genetic improvement and breeding applications.

The captive white-tailed deer industry has an estimated impact of 1.6 billion USD in the state of Texas alone. However, nutritional requirements for cervids are determined through research based on sheep and goats. The objective of this study was to determine the effects of zinc on differences in dry matter digestibility in vitro for white-tailed does (Odocoileus virginianus). Deer (n = 2) were ethically harvested, rumens were collected, and placed into a cooler containing warm water. rumen contents were agitated, and fluid was filtered using cheese cloth while applying CO2. Fluid was placed into four separate incubator jars with filter bags containing a 1:1 alfalfa to coastal hay blend. Zinc doses of 0.073 mg/kg/d equivalents were added to two of the jars ( Zn), and the additional two jars received 0.00 mg/kg/d (CON). Following 48 h of incubation, in vitro true digestibility (IVTD) showed no significant differences between the control and the treatment groups. Average dry matter digested in vitro was 91.87% and 95.13%, respectively. There were no differences detected in ADF, NDF, IVTD, or OM between the treatment groups. While no detectable differences were observed in this study, this methodology did prove to be viable and functional for microbial digestion in vitro. This study can be replicated with multiple experimental units to confirm the observations of increased digestibility. Formal nutritional guidelines can be created to allow for more efficient feeding of cervids thereby reducing feed costs and continuing the growth of the captive deer industry.

This paper considers the problem of constructing a direct coupling quantum observer for a closed linear quantum system. The proposed distributed observer consists of a network of quantum harmonic oscillators and it is shown that the observer network converges to a consensus in a time averaged sense in which each element of the observer estimates the specified output of the quantum plant. An example and simulations are included to illustrate the properties of the observer network.

Dear editor,Human exposure to hydrocarbons(HCs)is unavoidable given their wide usage in a variety of common *** chloride(EC),a type of halogenated HC,has been used in the production of pharmaceuticals,dyes,and other chemicals used for industrial purposes.[1,2]EC was used as an anesthetic induction agent in the early 1900s.[3]Although its use as an inhalational agent has fallen out of favour,EC is still used as a topical pain medication today.[4]
