Activated carbon(AC)was synthesized from palm kernel shell(PKS)using different activating agents,i.e.,steam,carbon dioxide(CO 2),and CO 2-steam,in order to analyze the impact of acti-vating agents on the pore opening of *** this study,AC produced from PKS was found to have great potential as an adsorbent for methane *** different molecular diffusivity and reac-tivity of the combination of CO 2 and steam succeeded in producing AC with the highest burn-offof 78.57%,a surface area of 869.82 m 2/g,a total pore volume of 0.47 cm 3/g,and leading to maximum methane gas adsorption capacity of 4.500 mol/*** types of ACs exhibited the best fit with the Freundlich isotherm model,with the correlation coefficient(R 2)ranging from 0.997 to 0.999,indicating the formation of multilayer *** addition,the adsorption kinetic data for all ACs followed the pseudo-first-order model showing that the rate of adsorption was dependent on both the adsorbent and the adsorbate and was governed primarily by physical ad-sorption between the pore surface and methane *** results of intraparticle diffusion model indicated that the adsorption of methane was affected by both pore diffusion and exterior layer diffusion due to the different adsorption rates.

Sentiment analysis plays a vital role in understanding public opinions and sentiments toward various *** recent years,the rise of social media platforms(SMPs)has provided a rich source of data for analyzing public opinions,particularly in the context of election-related ***,sentiment analysis of electionrelated tweets presents unique challenges due to the complex language used,including figurative expressions,sarcasm,and the spread of *** address these challenges,this paper proposes Election-focused Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers(ElecBERT),a new model for sentiment analysis in the context of election-related ***-related tweets pose unique challenges for sentiment analysis due to their complex language,sarcasm,*** is based on the Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers(BERT)language model and is fine-tuned on two datasets:Election-Related Sentiment-Annotated Tweets(ElecSent)-Multi-Languages,containing 5.31 million labeled tweets in multiple languages,and ElecSent-English,containing 4.75million labeled tweets in *** outperforms othermachine learning models such as Support Vector Machines(SVM),Na飗e Bayes(NB),and eXtreme Gradient Boosting(XGBoost),with an accuracy of 0.9905 and F1-score of 0.9816 on ElecSent-Multi-Languages,and an accuracy of 0.9930 and F1-score of 0.9899 on *** performance of differentmodels was compared using the 2020 United States(US)Presidential Election as a case *** ElecBERT-English and ElecBERT-Multi-Languages models outperformed BERTweet,with the ElecBERT-English model achieving aMean Absolute Error(MAE)of *** paper presents a valuable contribution to sentiment analysis in the context of election-related tweets,with potential applications in political analysis,social media management,and policymaking.

In this study,energetic,economic,and environmental analysis of solid oxide fuel cell-based combined cooling,heating,and power(SOFC-CCHP)system is proposed for a cancer care hospital *** energy required for the hospital power,cooling,and heating demands was obtained based on real and detailed field data,which could serve as a reference for future works in the *** data with a 3D model for the hospital building are constructed and created in eQUEST software to precisely calculate the energy demands of the existing system(baseline case).Then,energetic,economic,and environmental models were developed to compare and assess the performance of the proposed SOFC-CCHP *** results show that the proposed system can cover about 49% to 77% of the power demand of the hospital with an overall efficiency of 78.3%.Also,the results show that the levelized cost of electricity of the system and its payback period at the designed capacity of the SOFC is 0.087S/kWh and 10 years,***,compared to the baseline system of the hospital,the SOFC-CCHP reduces the CO_(2) emission by 89% over the *** sensitivity analysis showed that a maximum SOFC efficiency of 52%and overall efficiency of 80%are achieved at cell operating temperature of 1027℃ and fuel utilization factor of 0.85.

Aims The accurate estimation of aboveground biomass in vegetation is critical for global carbon *** models provide an easy estimation of aboveground biomass at large spatial and temporal ***,only few prediction models are available for aboveground biomass in rangelands,as compared with *** addition to the development of prediction models,we tested whether such prediction models vary with plant growth forms and life spans,and with the inclusion of site and/or quadrat-specific *** We collected dataset of aboveground biomass from destructive harvesting of 8088 individual plants belonging to 79 species in 735 quadrats across 35 sites in semi-steppe rangelands in Iran.A logarithmic transformation of the power-law model was used to develop simple prediction models for the easy estimation of above-ground biomass using plant coverage and vegetation density as predictors for the species-specific model,multispecies and plants of different growth forms and life *** addition,additive and multiplicative linear regression models were developed by using plant coverage and one categorical variable from the site and/or quadrat-specific *** Findings The log-transformed power-law model based on plant coverage pre-cisely predicted aboveground biomass across the whole dataset for ei-ther most of the species-specific model,multispecies or plants of the same growth forms(shrubs,forbs or graminoids)and life spans(annuals,biennials or perennials).The addition of vegetation density as a single or in a compound predictor variable had relatively poor performance com-pared with the model having plant coverage *** generalizing at the levels of plant group forms and/or life spans did not substantially enhance the model-fit and validation of the plant coverage-based mul-tispecies model,the inclusion of plant growth forms or life spans as a categorical predictor variable had performed *** models in this study will

In this paper,we present a superlinear numerical method for multi-term fractional nonlinear ordinary differential equations(MTFNODEs).First,the presented problem is equivalently transformed into its integral form with multi-term Riemann-Liouville ***,the compound product trapezoidal rule is used to approximate the fractional ***,the unconditional stability and convergence with the order 1+αN−1−αN−2 of the proposed scheme are strictly established,whereαN−1 andαN−2 are the maximum and the second maximum fractional indexes in the considered MTFNODEs,***,two numerical examples are provided to support the theoretical results.

In this study, we report a novel and facile autoclave strategy for synthesis of near-infrared （NIR） CulnS2 QDs by employing glutathione （GSH） as capping ligand and stabilizer in aqueous media under 100 ~C. Various experi- mental parameters including the ratio of precursors, reaction time, reaction temperature, pH effect and stability have been systematically studied. The QDs were characterized by X-ray diffraction （XRD）, transmission electron micro- scope （TEM）, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FT-IR）. The as-synthesized NIR QDs exhibited low cytotoxicity and maintained excellent cell viability even up to 100 gg/mL. After bioconjugation with Arg-Gly-Asp （RGD） peptide, the obtained CulnS2-RGD QDs have demonstrated high targeting ability with good fluorescence cell imaging performance.
