A Model of irregular impurity at the Surface of Nanoparticle and Catalytic Activity

A problem of nanocatalyst improvement is considered. The existence of irregularities at the surface of nanoparticle leads to the increasing of the surface/volume ratio and, correspondingly, to the improvement of the catalytic activity. But this impurity gives one an additional effect due to the change of the electronic density at the surface. We suggest simple model for the description of this effect. The model allows one to find the discrete spectrum of the Schrdinger operator for nanoparticle. Due to this impurity induced bound states the electron density increases near the surface. it leads to the increase of the catalytic activity of nanoparticles with surface impurities.

An explicitly solvable model for tunnelling of relativistic spinless particles through a sphere is suggested. The model operator is constructed by an operator extensions theory method from the orthogonal sum of the Dirac operators on a semi- axis and on the sphere. The transmission coefficient is obtained. The dependence of the transmission coefficient on the particle energy has a resonant character. One observes pairs of the Breit-Wigner and the Fano resonances. it correlates with the corresponding results for a non-relativistic particle.

AiM:To investigate the expression of dipeptidyl peptidase(DPP) 8 and DPP9 in lymphocytes and various models of liver ***:DPP8 and DPP9 expression were measured in mouse splenic CD4 + T-cells,CD8 + T-cells and B-cells(B220 +),human lymphoma cell lines and mouse splenocytes stimulated with pokeweed mitogen(PWM) or lipopolysaccharide(LPS),and in dithiothreitol(DTT) and mitomycin-C treated Raji ***8 and DPP9 expression were measured in epidermal growth factor(EGF) treated Huh7 hepatoma cells,in fibrotic liver samples from mice treated with carbon tetrachloride(CCl 4) and from multidrug resistance gene 2(Mdr2 /Abcb4) gene knockout(gko) mice with biliary fibrosis,and in human end stage primary biliary cirrhosis(PBC).RESULTS:All three lymphocyte subsets expressed DPP8 and DPP9 ***8 and DPP9 expression were upregulated in both PWM and LPS stimulated mouse splenocytes and in both Jurkat T-and Raji B-cell ***8 and DPP9 were downregulated in DTT treated and upregulated in mitomycin-C treated Raji ***9transfected Raji cells exhibited more annexin V + cells and associated ***8 and DPP9 mRNA were upregulated in CCl 4 induced fibrotic livers but not in the lymphocytes isolated from such livers,while DPP9 was upregulated in EGF stimulated Huh7 *** contrast,intrahepatic DPP8 and DPP9 mRNA expression levels were low in the Mdr2 gko mouse and in human PBC compared to non-diseased ***:These expression patterns point to biological roles for DPP8 and DPP9 in lymphocyte activation and apoptosis and in hepatocytes during liver disease pathogenesis.

A technique for testing space object receivers using global navigation satellite system （GNSS） signal simulator of the navigation field is proposed. its structure consists of two blocks which allow synthesizing the scenario of reciprocal displacement of the receiver relative to navigation satellites and their signals. in the first block, according to the known coordinates of the receiver which are specified in tabular form or analytically, the distances between the receiver and the navigation satellites are calculated as well as their relative velocities. According to these data, the second block synthesizes the signals of navigational travelers with the specified characteristics which are transmitted via the air or cable with a given attenuation to the receiver. This allows testing on the earth receivers for airplanes and space objects under different scenarios of their movement, which not only reduces the risk of problems during the flight, but also avoids significant economic costs. Based on real data obtained by approaching two spacecraft using a simulator, the receiver was tested, which shows the promise of the proposed technology.
