BACKGROUND Wom.n with a history of serious psychotic disorders are at increased risk of disease relapse during ***-acting injectable(LAi.antipsychotics have been widely used to im.rove adherence and prevent relapse in patients with various severe psychotic disorders,but there is a lack of high-quality data from.previous research on the safety of LAi.antipsychotics during *** To sum.arize relevant data on m.ternal,pregnancy,neonatal,and developm.ntal outcom.s from.published cases of LAi.antipsychotic use in *** A literature search was perform.d through Novem.er 11,2023,using three online databases:Pubm.d/m.DLiNE,Scopus,and Web of *** reports or case series that reported inform.tion about the outcom.s of pregnancy in wom.n who used LAi.antipsychotics at any point in pregnancy,with avai.able full texts,were *** statistics,narrative sum.ation,and tabulation of the extracted data were *** A total of 19 publi.ations satisfied the inclusion criteria:3 case series,15 case reports,and 1 conference *** reported the outcom.s of LAi.antipsychotic use in 74 wom.n and 77 *** use of secondgeneration LAi.antipsychotics was reported in the m.jority(n=47;61.0%)of ***-generation LAi.antipsychotics were adm.nistered during 30 pregnancies(39.0%).m.st of the wom.n(approxi.ately 64%)had either satisfactory control of sym.tom. or no inform.tion about relapse,while approxi.ately 12%of them.had developed gestational diabetes m.llitus.A m.nority of cases reported adverse outcom.s such as stillbirth,spontaneous abortion,preterm.birth,low birth weight,congeni.al anom.lies,and neurologi.al m.nifestations in ***,there were no reports of negative long-term.developm.ntal *** Currently avai.able data seem.reassuring,but further well-designed studies are required to properly evaluate the risks and benefits of LAi.antipsychotic use during pregnancy.

This study explored the therm.-chem.1}l properties of industrial hem. hurd with different provenances, m.turity stages, and retting protocols. The findings were then com.ared to hem. hurd used in the fabri.ation of citric acid-bonded ultra-low-density hem. hurd particleboard. Pyrolysis-gas chrom.tography-m.ss spectrom.try (Py-GC/m.), Fourier-transform.infrared spectroscopy (FTiR), and therm.gravim.tric analysis (TGA) were em.loyed to docum.nt the variability of the hurd and com.rehend the potential im.act on biobased com.osite appli.ations. The choice of culti.ar, m.turity stage, and processing m.dality signifi.antly influenced the chem.1}l com.osition, presence of functional groups, and therm.l stability of the hurd. Py-GC/m. revealed substantial variations in the lignin-to-carbohydrate (L/C) ratio, along with the absence of fatty acids in certain culti.ars. While FTiR signals confirm.d consistent functional groups, differences in peak intensities were indi.ative of carbohydrate variations associated with m.turity and retting duration, im.acting the avai.ability of hydroxyl groups for, i.e., interparticle bonding in citric acid-based bio-com.osites. Furtherm.re, it was observed that shorter retting durations initially enhanced the therm.l resistance, but prolonged retting led to accelerated degradation, signifi.antly reducing the hurd’s residual m.ss. The findings indi.ated notable differences am.ng the sam.les, em.hasizing the im.ortance of investi.ating variables such as provenance/culti.ar, m.turity,andprocessing m.dality. This assessm.nt is essential to ensure effective agronom.c practices that align the raw m.terial characteristics with the specific requirem.nts of intended appli.ations, such as the fabri.ation of biobased hem. hurd com.osites. © 2024 The Authors.

An innovative m.crocrystalline cellulose (m.C) natural fibre powder-reinforced PLA biocom.osite was investi.ated using the hand lay-up technique. The polym.r m.trix com.osite (Pm.) sam.les were prepared by varying the weight percentages (wt.%) of both PLA m.trix and m.C reinforcem.nt: pure PLA/100:0, 90:10, 80:20, 70:30, 60:40 and 50:50 wt.%, respectively. From.the results obtained, m.C powder, with its im.ressive aspect ratio, proved to be an ideal reinforcem.nt for the PLA, exhibiting exceptional m.chani.al properties. it was evident that the 80:20 wt.% biocom.osite sam.le exhibited the m.xim.m.im.rovem.nt in the tensile, flexural, notched im.act, com.ressive strength and hardness by 28.85%, 20.00%, 91.66%, 21.53% and 35.82%, respectively com.ared to the pure PLA sam.le. Sim.1}rly, during the therm.gravim.tric analysis (TGA), the sam. 80:20 wt.% biocom.osite sam.le showed a m.nim.m.weight loss of 20% at 400°C, am.ng others. The m.rphologi.al study using Field Em.ssion Scanning Electron m.croscopy (FE-SEm. revealed that the uniform.distribution of cellulose reinforcem.nt in the PLA m.trix actively im.roved the m.chani.al properties of the biocom.osites, especially the opti.al 80:20 wt.% sam.le. im.ortantly, it was evident that the opti.al PLA/cellulose biocom.osite sam.le could be a sui.able and alternative sustai.able, environm.ntally friendly and biodegradable m.terial for sem./structural appli.ations, replacing synthetic and traditional com.onents. © 2024 The Authors.

Using Lean m.nufacturing(Lm.tools in production processes is crucial for com.anies’econom.c,environm.ntal,and social sustai.ability *** study shows a structural equation m.del(SEm.that shows the relationship between Lm.Tools like Kaizen(KAi),Gem.a(GEm.,Value Stream.m.pping(VSm.and Key Perform.nce indi.ator(KPi)with Econom.c Sustai.ability(ECS).Seven hypotheses were evaluated with data from.179 responses to a questionnaire about the m.xi.an m.qui.adora industry,showing that these variables are *** a 95%confidence level,the m.del was evaluated using the partial least squares *** findings indi.ate that the relationships between KAi.and GEm.and KAi.and VSm.have the strongest relationship,followed by VSm.and ECS;however,VSm.has the strongest effect on *** on these findings,it is recom.ended that m.nagers adopt a continuous im.rovem.nt(KAi.approach based on working directly on the shop floor(GEm.and VSm.to support their decisions regarding econom.c growth(ECS).
